Charging question - Verizon HTC 10 Questions & Answers

I have a USB port on the radio in my work truck. Will it hurt to charge the phone through that? I know it won't be quick charge just want to know if it will be bad for the battery.

No one has any insight on this?

Shouldn't be any issue as long as your using a correct/certified USB C cable. Will probably be slow but slow generally means less volts/amps. The issues you get are when you use too much not too little

Thanks Phil. That's what I figured but you never know.

Charging issues?

Has anybody experienced charging problems ? I recently got my nexus and had to put it in charge yesterday, but it won't. It will charge one second but not the next

Try popping the back off and check the battery connector.
Alot of Nexus 7's have a loose battery connection.
(Its just as easy as popping a phone back off so don't panic )
This question must have been asked at least 50 times already. Do a search, you'll find some good answers.
But the problem is that its not charging at all

Anyone got an idea of what the voltage should be when wireless charging? On my modified S3 and Note 2 cards there at 4.042V when charging

I just peeled the stickers off removed the coil and flipped it all I then just positioned it on battery door. Works like a charm just need to know if the voltage is ok I'm assuming it is as USB 3.0 just slightly higher

Ah ok, I thought you altered something and you get more than 640ma when charging

It charges just fine with no alterations

Have you recently changed the charger or cable? That can sometimes be the cause.

Whoaa! thats weired! Ok now try changing your phone on different plug point. If this doesnt helps then BORROW a battery to test whether the problem is in your current battery or not. I hope it helps.

Battery Drain

So lately I've been getting a horrible battery drain on my s4 no matter what ROM I use i still have this problem. My phone won't charge, sometimes if I do a reboot it'll work fine but it always comes back. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

I have insurance on it through best buy mobile, so if I return it to stock do you think they would swap it for a new one?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I'm gonna flash back to stock with the NAE .tar file and if problem still occurs then I'll go to best buy mobile and get it looked at and see if they will swap it out with new one. I really want the s4 with spark compatibility anyway lol.

Not saying this is what it is but check this out http://mobile.pcmag.com/?origref=ht...-your-android-device-is-infected-with-malware
I use 360 antivirus. One of the best there is.. Just trying to help.. Hope whatever it is you get it resolved @churchey360

@flashback7 I don't think that's it but it could be lol. I'm thinking its because I've been using wifi tethering alot lately and it drains my battery and makes my phone really hot. One time it got so hot that I got a message saying my battery was overheated and my phone shut off. I think that may be the cause of it.

That'll do it. I unplug mine before it overheats.

Anyone know what 10285 is on battery usage?

My assumption is that it's GSam but I'm not sure. Tried a google search but found absolutely nothing and searching on XDA only leads to huge threads -__-

Did you recently delete an app? The only time I have seen that code was after I deleted an app but it was gone after the next full charge.
