You cant. I had a note 3 prior to my G2. They rely heavily on Samsungs Touchwiz framework.

Wondering if the mods will create a forum or subforum for the Note Edge. My concern is primarily related to android dev if there are difference, and I assume there will be some
I'm having flashbacks to the Oppo Find 7 forums where the two major difference handsets were "lumped"(that was comic relief, not a comment on the supermods on XDA. In that case until changed, every ROM thread had multiple "Does this support the new Find 7s?"
Just wondering.
I'm actually wondering if we will see custom roms for the Note Edge...? Doesn't the display and/or resolution have a big effect on the OS? I cannot imagine teams like CM, PA, AOKP, etc, making use of that "edge" screen on their roms. To me it sounds like flashing any custom rom on this device will "disable/disregard" those extra pixels... but i could be very wrong
Does anyone know if the Edge will be compatible with the Galaxy VR or only the Note 4?

Thank you man... Hope that .1 of main screen lost isn't a real issue with the VR... Maype a simple patch should fix this... hopefully Samsung will add the Edge later on.

and i want to rom my note, but i'm afraid to lose the "GALAXY APPS" app, or the ability to fully function with my Gear S.
is there any Rom who dosn't limit this ability?

As long as you take a Touchwiz based rom, you'll be able to connect to your Gear S. X-Note, Echo, Simplrom, they all are compatible with it.

Since the thread talking about MM being released in Germany is mostly discussing rooting, I thought I'd start another thread to get info on how MM behaves on the Tab S2 and has it been a positive thing.
My Tab S2 (SM-T815) hasn't received it yet so I'm interested in hearing how Marshmallow is working on this tablet.
My experience when it arrived for my S6 was very positive, the phone became so much better so I'm hoping it will be the same for the Tab S2.

Performance is much better and snappier battery life is better
But you need to clean install for getting performance
Some games like modern combat 5, Nova stop working after updated to marshmallow these games were working fine in lollipop

I know for certain phones, that stuff can be brought back. It will just take some dev time.
I cant do the update until later today, but I am curious, can anyone confirm if this has system wide themes like other MM Samsung products? Is doze fully functional? How is Netflix?

I recommend you guys try out Samsungs' Good Lock app . It is awesome. Tablet feels like a Nexus.

Don't install this it'll make problem with the tablet ui and it's not optimise for tablets and difficult to uninstall

I have it for a day now and I haven't had any issue so far.
For me it wasn't good system ui was just messed up
It's still very buggy...
