Cyanogenmod for Galaxy A800F .. Still a Dream - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Waiting for this Rom since 5 months..but no luck
It's very sad to see development is going great for Galaxy A3,A5,A7 but not for the flagship A8 that doesn't even have a stable CM13 Rom till now. What might be the reason for this ?
PedroMarthon and few other people has done an excellent job by bringing CM13 for this model into existence. Much Appreciation for their work but the ROM has so many problems ( camera + dual sim card +fingerprint +sound )
But why there are very few developers for this model and why the development is very slow compared to other devices ?
This is not judging developers work or their effort but the general curiosity that why this model has very less development
This is the slimmest phone in whole Samsung's lineup yet this doesn't have that flavour of stock android experience.
How we all as a Team can gather more developers for this model and get awesome work go ?
What should be our contribution for bringing more developers to work an awesome CM13 rom ( Including Fingerprint ) with very less flaws for this model ?

The problem is that not much people are using it,as u can see,its time for you to start devlopment.

Is it safe to say that MM2's CM 7.x development is totally dead and time to upgrade the phone?
I tried ICS and JB roms, very, very laggy and slow for daily use, at least being used to CM 7.1 speeds.
I'm looking to buy Samsung Captative Glide i927, the sub forum is a lot more active and there are plenty of diferent roms to choos from.
Thank you.

Official support for Galaxy Tab 7 Plus and 7.7 ( P6200 , P6210 , P6800 and P6810 )

First I 'm sorry for this my English!
We know that the Galaxy SII is one of the most popular gadgets that have , and even receive several Customs Roms , even the hardware the same as not being friendly with the developer apparently , but the success and quality of ROMs is incredible .
Because of this , came through this post , ask for them to give attention to the 7-inch Tablet from Samsung , especially the Plus series, which has a great hardware , even for the times , briefly have the same CPU and GPU Galaxy SII .
Because of this , I may be wrong , but I believe the quality of this team of developers, who could reuse much of the code of the Galaxy SII adapting to these devices .
We do have some Customs unofficial ROMs , but none of them reached the level of being fully functional ( Wifi , 3G , Mass Storage , FC , etc. ) , some things always have problems that hinder normal use . Have stayed up jealous of other devices that receive Roms officers enjoy an amazing quality even in Beta ( Nightly ) state until I was already regretting having bought my appliance, although it helps me a lot with my studies , and I hope to finish programming languages and start working with Android and also help others .
So I fortifico my application to work with these Tablets 7 " which is still an Android 4.4.2 Kitkat would run smoothly , and I guarantee that has a mass of users that would be happy to enjoy a lightweight , functional , beautiful ROM , . everything the Kitkat has to offer will be even great, please affix these devices : Galaxy Tab Plus 7 " and 7.7 " ( P6200 , P6210 , P6800 and O6810 ) .

Dear friends,
I really agree to the things which you have told. As most of the developers are focusing only on the hit devices which the people actually fear to change the ROM due to their warranty void. But people like us try new devices and new ROM because of the curiosity and for better understanding, for such we are not getting enough support, even for the few those who try to develop also.
I request those who are familiar in this kind of development, please help each other so that we will be able to support all kind of devices, or atleast the best hardware products.
Thank You

Pretty much dead

I haven't found one of the ROMs for the i9500 to be free of bugs. Sound or Bluetooth or a loop at the first reboot... And if you want a ROM free of the Samsung rubbish, they are even more buggy.
And it doesn't look like anything new is coming because so few people still use this phone.
Very very sad.
Blame it on samsungs policy of not releasing exynos sources bro..its really great that development has come this far..thanks to all our devs who made sure the device stays alive with latest stuff..
Having tried multiple roms , cm 12,12.1 etc and fed up with the battery and mic bugs , I'm back to stock rom . Yes I agree the developers work hard and their efforts are commendable, and the i9500 falls behind due to the fact that Samsung does not release the exynos source codes , making the roms incomplete (mic , voip voice , camera and battery backup problems) .
Sent from my SM-G900H
Even the devices like gs3,gs2,grand etc.. are getting latest updates like marshmallow but s4 (i9500) is still waiting maybe i think we dont even taste the latest android..and thatz a bitter truth

Should i buy this device ?

Hi, since the launch of Redmi 3s prime i was very excited to buy this it has some great hardware installments in budget price i had no money back then but now I've it but now im confused.
There is not much development available for this device & I heard that kernel sources has been released even after that thread are still inactive. All i see is unofficial build of different ROMs and less active user ?
I'm an extremely FLASHAHOLIC user anf i keep changing ROMs in my current device Redmi 1S which has decent development.
Also There is redmi note 3 which i can buy instead (but used) has very good android development.
Now please tell me should i buy this device ?
Are ROMs and Kernels being building ?
@d3kod3 Kernel sources has been released not so long ago - at the very beginning of this year. So the development for our device will improve, that's only a matter of time. Thanks to our really great team of fantastic and talented developers, we have already nearly 100% working custom roms - major bugs were eliminated and everything seems that we will see happy ending ?

Can we expect good Android Q (10) based roms for the V20

Hi,
I was wondering if Android 10 based ROMs from maybe our favourite devs, say the unofficial Lineage OS 17, RR8 etc would be available and developed upon in the future.
I know the phone is getting old, and many people might have jumped ship towards newer ones, so are some of the devs still rocking the V20, or at least interested in developing for it.
It's hard to get a unified voice to predict, but in case someone knows some of the devs, it'd be nice to hear from them about this.
The biggest problem with those roms will be the lack of volte and wifi calling, those things are already a necessity to me.
I just bought my mint v20 tmobile version and frankly I am stunned by the lack of devlopment for this phone! For what many deem the last of the great flagship phone ever made ...it is stunning. I am comong from a leeco lemax 2 which has an extremely active development forum, I was so hoping to be able to install the latest greatest android and pixel OS ...but it is like a freaking ghost town. I know I would donate for a good OS on the latest android. Sad.
Alpha Omega might work on one, and it would be great. He might be our only hope.
Even without voLTE or WiFi calling, it'd be awesome to see some or even one Android Q ROM!
Personally I'd love a Paranoid Android ROM now they're back
