Did AT&T remove night mode also?

Do you mean the night clock feature?
Try...
Settings\Device\Display\Night Clock

No there's a "night mode" that changes the theme to a darker one at night. And no the AT&T S7 and Edge don't have it.

Black gaps in mobile network bar in battery stats?

Can someone post a battery stats screenshot? I get black gaps in my mobile network bar even though I never have airplane mode enabled. On all other android phones I've owned the mobile indicator bar only had black gaps if airplane mode was enabled...

that's a known 4.2 bug. It happens in all nexus 4 screenshots too.

Yep it's ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed. Just use an app like better battery stats.

Yeah I know but don't like having to install an app that shouldn't be needed, or in less you want to see what is doing the wake locks
I'm safe for now will be on my skyrocket for an other week hopefully getting my S4 on Thursday if att store here still has them

Camera Night Mode

Hi guys, my first post, id like to know about a solution to the missing night mode on the s5 camera, i remember the s4 had it, any advice is much appreciated thanks. ☺

On the stabilization option. Not good enough? On HDR mode
No not as good as it was on the s4

Too bad then! why didn't Samsung keep Night Mode? I heard the same thing about stabilization being the "new night mode" but I hardly use it. It seems to be for still landscape at night. I also heard that Night Mode on S4 was good.
Night mode on samsung s4 waa excellent

Dull lockscreen wallpaper when using Fingerprint

So I noticed that when I set a photo to use as my lockscreen wallpaper that it looks super dull and washed out. I use the fingerprint lock, so I went into settings and set it to swipe. Well the picture looks perfectly vivid and bright on the lockscreen now. But when I switch back to fingerprint it gets dull.
Can anyone else replicate this bug? If so, what is the cause of this?!

Just tested it and I cant tell any difference. I'm not using a stock wallpaper on lockscreen tho...
Sorry

I'm not using stock either. You won't notice it with stock image, just custom. It's a slight dullness when using the fingerprint unlock.

Ok, so i went back and actually took pics of each way. You are absolutely right. with fingerprint lock style selected the pic, is toned down, or a little darker...

Yep. It is like this on the s6 as well but not as noticeable bc of the smaller screen size. That's really annoying now bc i want more security my picture quality goes down the drain! Thanks for confirming.

Screen Off app that doesn't ask for pass code?

I keep my s7 edge unlocked with my Gear S2 watch, but all the Screen Off apps activate pass code sign in when turning the screen back on. Is this a Marshmallow limitation? Thanks.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Id say no to that, as it was the last update to our phones that activated this problem, it wasn't there before!

I have this and is OK. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iglint.android.screenlockpro
Just check the box with Marshmallow and Lollipop in app's settings.

This one works with gestures on Nova and does not require passcode after using it (the screen goes black and there is a 4 second delay to actually lock the screen):

Nova with root access instead of admin access does not ask for pin/passcode and can login with fingerprint

I thought it worked, but it just puts the screen to sleep while the phone is still active underneath and won't actually turn off the phone

The screen turn off and the phone will lock n sleep after about 4s. It won't stay awake. You actually don't have any other choice except if u wanna use the power button or root. This is a marshmallow security feature.

Nova with root works great[emoji4] no pin, passcode or password is needed. Just only fingerprint [emoji4]
