Awesome ROM.
1. Flashing took more time.
2. Welcome screen, opt for better one.
3. CAB Installation so quick.
4. Again welcome screen. oooohhhh.
5. ROM is simply superb super quick in processing and installing CABs, superb performance.
6. Android style top bar really class with style.
7. But missed certain features like arkswitch, quickmenu, themes by liven n many more. Which was so good in your ROM3 release. It was feature rich one apart from sense.
8. Pocketmusic player is better than CORE.
9. WIFI initiates very quickly and browsing via wifi is best.

Yeah. I do hav but doesnt run on startup, exe error not signed n so on.
GPS I dont use, am not a frequent travellor n dont hav tomtom.
MIRom is now a error free bug free ROM hats off.

SPB Carousell not working

installed miROM5 yesterday, made a backup with SPB MS 3.5.5. Now the Carousell is not working, nothing happens when using left softkey. Any idea?
Hi miro, hab gestern das miROM 5 geflasht, leider läuft das MobileShell Karussell nicht mehr. Linker Softkey hat gar keine Funktion mehr. Irgend ne Idee? Ansonsten schönes ROM, evtl irgendwann in deutsch zu haben?

Thanks for the ROM, I Have tried it for two days and it is really good, fast and no bugs so far. Only a minor problem to me that i can not seem to control media players via my bluetooth headset. Is there any registry tweak or any way to sort it out

has anyone had any issues getting SRS WOW to work with this ROM?
I have sucessfully used the 3 cab install on all TG01s so far (bar 1) but this ROM doesn't seem to like it!!

Exactly. But first move both from sd card to another folder (e.g. /system/) and switch the permissions to rw-r--r--.
Then copy first services.jar and then framework-res.apk to /system/framework/
The device should restart itself. Otherwise do it on your own.

Hi , i know this was explained in the post above, but i am still rather confused. Could someone post as to how this theme should be applied stating all the steps ? would be greatly thankful ( i did notice the original post said that it was running stock 2.1...)

Followed these instructions to install (re: moving the files from SD to system\framework, after using Root Explorer to mount as R/W), but I'm having a real issue:
Services.jar replaces fine, but when trying to replace framework-res, the phone immediately reboots and freezes at the Motorola logo.
Thank goodness for nandroid!
Any help here guys? I'd really appreciate it. : )

It is supposed to immideately reboot after changing the framework-res.apk.
Did you change the permissions for the files, like i described?
Do you run the right version of the firmware (2.36.0)?

where? the other gingerbread theme in here doesnt even have a black bar, it has the sense bar

Gerade nach deiner Methode vorgegangen und nun geht praktisch nichts mehr. Direkt nach dem Verschieben der framework-res in den Systemordner ging das Display aus bzw. zeigte nichts mehr an und bleibt beim Reboot beim M hängen. :-(

You need:
7zip
PC
1. get the apk you want to edit and press 7zip>open.
2. Now you see the content of the apk. Here you can change drawables... For example res/drawable or res/midmap in some system apps for an png like app_icon.png or icon.png...
3. change with an image you like, note that they must have same resolution...
4. For system apps just copy to /system/app and for user apps re-sign using for example this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kellinwood.zipsigner2&hl=en
and install...
5. Done

U used 7zip right?? And you dont deleted any files? Because it should work fine, it its done right

Try 7zip

If it is a non-system app, it needs to be resigned, otherwise it will fail to install.

On winrar you'll need to "store" when you put the new png in the app!

German is better than other languages, because they have Rammstein's songs. But, for the other hand, English have Deadmau5 and Skrillex. It's a difficult situation. I'm from Spain and I don't understand German, but I can understand English. I must translate the songs of Rammstein to Spanish, but with the English songs I don't need it. I would say English, but The liebe ist für alle da it's my favourite's Rammstein disc. The letters and video of Haifisch are awesome.

Contact Icon change?
I am trying to change my contact icon. As you said in instruction,using 7zip just replaced two photo in contact which were named ic_launcher_phone.png and ic_lancher_contacts.png and their shortcuts photos named ic_launcher_shortcut_directdial.png and ic_launcher_shortcut_contact.png all are in the same folder, drawable-hdp.
But after push the apk file, change the permission and reboot the phone it is forced to close.
Any help please!

what is your recovery are you using???
With TWRP: you go to Advanced tab, choose Copy log to SD
then go to SDCARD open recovery.log
find your error keyword (eg: status 7) then look above the line contain zip file names... you ewil see the error.... GOOD LUCK

Samsung is currently testing and rolling out the OneUI 3.0 / Android 11 update.

I am hoping to host each update here so please upload and send links and we can make this a lil community thing
Rooting instructions will be provided with a stock rooted rom (if i am able to) - we will see how this goes as people that want to do this, must know what they are doing. I will not be providing in depth support for this in this thread as the overall subject should be about the beta itself (call this a bonus for rooted users lol)

Install instructions:

ADB-method:
1. Download SDK platform tools from here https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools
2. Extract them on your desktop.
3. Inside the extracted folder put the update.zip
4. Inside this folder, holding left shift, right click the mouse and select "open command prompt here". The command prompt will open.
5. Shutdown the phone.
6. Holding power+volume up buttons, enter into recovery mode.
7. Select "update via ADB". (you scroll down using the volume buttons and select using the power button).
8. Connect the phone to the PC using original samsung USB cable.
9. In the command prompt run the following command:
./adb devices
10. Wait to see that the daemon has started and that your device is found.
11. If you device is found, run the following command:
./adb sideload update.zip
The update process will start. You will see a percentage counting. First it will verify, then patch etc. Do not move the cable, disconnect the phone or power off the PC.
Once the process is completed (it takes some time) the phone will boot itself, update the apps and log into your home screen.
SD-card method:
1. Download the bin file and rename it to update.zip (by going to file options in win10 you can select to view the file extensions. This makes the renaming process much easier and safer, and avoids renaming the file to update.zip.zip)
2. Copy it to the root directory of your SDcard.
3. Shut down your phone.
4. Hold simultaneously Power+volume up buttons to get into stock recovery.
5. Using your volume keys navigate to "update via SdCard" and press power button to select it.
6. Again using volume keys navigate to the file "update.zip" and press power button to select it.
7. Update will start. Leave it till it completes. It will take some time.
8. Phone will reboot by itself and load android.
Note: for now after installing the beta update it isn't possible to reboot in to recovery via the VolUP+power button.
You will have to use ADB for that: "./adb reboot recovery"
Installing via this way shouldn't trigger KNOX warranty void.
However: updating to Beta is your own choice, no one is responsible if anything goes wrong

When will come the first beta One UI 3?

Yeah I'm signing up if I can get in. It looks like Oct 24th was the date last year for the Note 10 and One UI 2.0 beta. They are on pretty much the same schedule as last year it seems so if history means anything hopefully sometime in the next 2 weeks we should see/hear something.

Can someone tell me by chance whether version 3.7.00.8 is the latest version from Samsung Members?

That has been true for some time. Rooting makes OTAs not work (since eFuse is tripped and OTA system will not allow updates), and betas are only distributed through OTA, no full ODIN images.
