yes, ftf can be flash on both lock and unlock bootloader devices.
Hopefully we can get a d6633 patch soon

There's no RIC in this ROM (same as Marshmallow Concept), just flash SuperSU 2.71 and you're rooted!
EDIT: DON'T do this, SuperSU is NOT working correctly as of 2.71. Flashing it will break SIM card detection.

How did you install a custom recovery?
Two questions: with the latest bootloader (unlocked) and a custom recovery (TWRP 3), will the recovery stay in place as it is in another partition?
And will the flash with flashtool delete the data partition as well as the internal SD Card?
Do major parts function on N? Phone, camera, WiFi, lte, etc?

Which region/branding is this? I don't have this one (1274-1558) in my list and I cannot find it anywhere online.

How is this ROM compared to .244 firmware when it comes to 1) performance, 2) battery and 3) camera performance?

updated yesterday. The camera takes a little longer to load ( 2 seconds give or take)
havent fully tested for the battery.
The camera seems to find the targets much faster, photos seems sharper and hold more detail than before.
Audio seems unchanged, so is decent but not great.
the UI is fluid as ever, and all in all havent noticed any bugs on this one. A nifty update if you ask me.

I wonder if is it possible to use the stock wifi driver on DooMKernel on this version now?
For some reason all custom kernel that use Prima Wifi alter the MAC address of my device.
I have to flash back to stock kernel to get the original MAC address.

Guys check after update minimal freq of cpu. On z1c alter update minimal cpu freq is set to 1,19ghz instead of 300mhz.

Well I just made my flashable with root and dualrecovery and ..... tachannnnnnnn sorry guys just i can´t see any huge improvement, no intelligence gesture, no 4k and timeshift so lets wait to lollipop. I am uploading now to mega, tomorrow i will share my flashable.zip with you. cheers

2- Dont wipe data and you will keep previus data. Restore previus data doesnt work with this versión

I added a root zip download link for the Z5 E6633 in the video descritpion! rooting works now also with your model
but you need a unlocked bootloader and you have to download a custom recovery with twrp for the e6633 of course!

I addded the links to working boot images for each model and deleted the thread which was useless anyway, well I closed it, I don`t know how to delete it

No, haha I mean to say that it works on the Z5 Compact. I have the Z5 compact and tested it. It works great!

@freaky2xd Maybe you could add a note that this gives you root, but only for apps/ mods etc that don't mess with the system partition?
This is more or less a temporary solution to have some root features on Nougat, but for full root and TWRP Recovery, we need to wait for a custom kernel.
Still thanks for the post and tutorial though.
Tested this myself on Z5 E6653 using your video tutorial that you posted the link of earlier on the original thread about this
Works fine, think its just worth mentioning that we dont have a (more or less) safe way to aquire root and TWRP yet

Same zips, just used the kernel.sin from the Z5C firmware.

Hi to all.
I tried to follow the video and do the same steps but... The fastboot give me always the same message after the writing: FAILED (remote: Command not allowed).
I don't know if the problem is from the bootloader locked on unlocked. With the Android 7.0 Nougat, it's enought unlocked it on the developer's menù? Thanks to all for the help

Go to developers option and enable OEM, then go https://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/

Ty Enes. But seem the problem for this phone is "Bootloader unlocker allowed: no". And seem this it impossible to change. It's a part of motherboard.

Hi guys, I need help. I didn't follow your tutorial but I hope you can help me out anyway. I'm trying to root my device (xperia z5 Android 7.0). Every time I tried I got bootloop and had to restore everything with xperia companion, which sucks. I get bootloop only when I try to install SuperSU on twrp. Now I got twrp via flashtool, don't know if that matters. Then I go to install and everything seems to be okay until I reboot into the system. Then I get bootloop. Any tips? Thank you so much
