You tell me to remove the file from the link?
If this: After more than a year the Xtouch users complaining of not having any development for Xtouch.... Now there is something, then you just vomit and complain about something that says "to test" and requires something??
Honestly if it is, I'll even stop doing something for you guys.
People who just complain, do not deserve development.
People who share knowledge and archives to develop improvements, deserve attention.

Hahaha.... Thanks to the guys from 4pda forum also. I'm registered there.
Yes. The idea is this. Having a stable version soon.
It all starts with something, even if the test file is not the best possible. But with everyone's help we can reach the goal.
Dreaming also with MIUI and also one CM13....
Let's keep our energy focused and testing and improving the ROM. Furthermore, it opened hope to other ROMs.
At this point I not ask donations. But if the choice of someone....
Let's hope avecilla or someone of 4pda, someone with knowledge and time can help, since the mother board my laptot spoiled.

can't install messenger. also facebook version is very old. but thanks, you are the first who made cm rom !!

First of all, thank you! It seems to work good for now. Only things I ran into were that aosp-keyboard stopped every now and then, with google-keyboard I didn't encounter that yet. And I don't see any signaltype indicator, so I can't easily see if I'm on 3g or 4g but 4g does work though. Whatsapp and Messenger do work as well (had to install the apk's). GPS works. I couldn't find any FM-radio app, so I couldn't try that. But overall it looks very good! [edit] It doesn't seem possible to add the rotation tile to the notification drawer[/edit]

Thanks for all the hard work till now, I made you a little donation to support your work! hope you can fix the issue with SIM 1. Because I need both sim cards working in my daily usage. Keep up the good work!

As known, some apps don't seem to install from Google Play("Your device isn’t compatible with this version") . I tried Device Faker-plus in xposed and Market Helper. This last one makes it look possible to install the apps but after pressing install I get error 940(or something) in google play. Did anybody find out a way that works?! (without downloading the apk's outside of google play)

While it's not fixed, you can download apks from Play with Raccoon.

I get error message "OK Google enrollment has stopped" upon boot.

Still working on the update? I'm eager to install it, especially if it resolves the pink camera issue.

[ROM][GT-I9100][4.0.4] CyanogenMod 9 nightly builds | DISCUSSION THREAD

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

If you're a bloody noob and getting confused by following simple instructions, go down and read about using the noob-proof ODIN method.
First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
- READ FAQs: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Experimental:GT-I9100:Frequently_Asked_Questions
- Make sure you're running ICS bootloaders lower than LPH! (if you're unsure, flash the CM9 Resurrection Edition)
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
- Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
- Reboot
- Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
- Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM9 zip
- Reboot
Using the noob-proof ODIN method:

- Boot your phone into download mode
- Connect your device via usb to your computer
- Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
- Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished
- Device boots automatically into recovery
- Flash GApps
- Reboot into CM9
- Follow above steps to update CM9 to lastest available version (Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9)

The RIL crashes still piss me off... Even though it's early software from Samsung, it could still offer at least a little quality!
Props to CM-Team for putting up a good build, even though the original material blows a** ....
Downloading latest version. If, i can stop the gapps crashing and the wake up when a phone call appears, then im keeping it
Anyone with latest build can confirm whether external sd card is working? both for scanning in phone using a file manager and when connecting to pc via usb?
Great idea regarding this thread. But you should mention on first post specifying what is working and what is not and also keep up to date with the latest builds that codeworkx and team release on the other thread.
I know you have already updated first post and looks good but try and keep it in a updated kinda manner so just to avoid any irrelevant posts.
Nice idea and will keep following..And respect to all XDA as a whole.
I can confirm external sd card is working on phone....havent tried with pc yet....

Thank you for this. It's about d**n time this phone had an AOSP rom. I wish I could provide some actually useful feedback but everything I need is working smoothly so far, no problems to report. This is seriously phenomenal work :good:
If I can provide one tiny, insignificant, nit-picky critique, in the OP you link to the update zip for SuperSU v2.01 but the most current one is SuperSU v2.46. And if anyone is skeptical or hesitant, I successfully used the v2.46 version of the SuperSU update zip when I flashed this rom. It's just one less update/installation for the Play Store to worry about when the rom first starts downloading all your apps for you. Just a thought

Make sure safestrap 3.75 is being used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56119330&postcount=336

Can you confirm for me if there are any buzzing sounds while playing music on this rom with headphones plugged in. I had bad experiences with Spotify, Poweramp, and Google Play Music with Joe Tech's rom and was wondering if anyone else had these problems.

Was using PureNexus before and now the NH3 SuperNexus. Play music through it everyday and have yet to hear a buzz or audio defect. Mostly use Google Play Music but did use the Poweramp demo.
I hear the occasional audio defect. Not often enough to bug me. I always listened through Spotify. Youtube, I can't recall any.
Using neutron music player, apollo and Google music, didn't get any buzz or weird sound.

No, as stated in the OP this is for the i537. Since you have the i9295 you should use a ROM meant for your phone.

How's the battery life been? Good enough for a daily driver?

Hi Guys,
Hope you guys are fine. As you guys know the development for our beloved OnePlus X is increasing day by day; thought I might share what I found in one of Opo Chinese forum with the permission of the Dev who developed this rom.
I've provided the description simple as much as possible using google translate(God Damn it!!)
ColorOS 2.1
Color is everything to us. It shapes us, molds us, and makes us who we are. ColorOS was designed to bring that same sense of excitement and warmth to the smartphone world. An OS that combines speed, efficiency and stability to bring pixels to life.
My personal Guessing how this rom was developed:
As you might know the Oppo A30 device is a direct clone of our OnePlus X. So, it appears the Dev has used the same sources to compile the Rom for our onyx
New Build Check here for download link and changelogs
Features:
1. Color OS v2.1 based on Android 5.1.1(LP)
2. Stable and smooth Experience(Trust me, you'll love the smoothness )
3. Support the Three-Stage Switch, Black Gesture
4. Many features, you can feel it on your own experience
Flashing Procedure:
If you don't know what is this, then please stay away. Rest of them can continue further.
Unlock Bootloader (you might think this is a lame one)
Flash Twrp recovery or similar
Download and copy rom on phone
Go into recovery (phone off, press power button + Volume up until some seconds from vibration, then release only power button for 2 seconds and release also volume button)
Do a nandroid backup (don't blame me if you mess up something at the end)
Do all wipes (except internal memory and ext SD, Wipe section)
Tap Install voice
Select the rom
Swype to flash
Reboot
Getting Root:
Couldn't get the attachments from the original post so tried flashing SUv2.52 and voila, I got root access. You can check the Screenshot for confirmation
If you don't have time for google, you can download SU from here or here which I used.
Bugs:
Everything should be working fine as I couldn't find any bug listed in the original post
[*]Not really a bug, couldn't get Google service to work on this, something you might want to think if you plan to use this as your daily driver
Still many part of the rom is in chinese, hopefully the Dev can bring a global variant of the OS to our device.
Getting Google Play Services to work

oh man!! Looks beautiful. Different than anything I have tried so far. But shouldn't it be on development section? Did you build this or someone else?

ColorOS! very cool!! thanks!!!
Just now I installed the ROM. Its very smooth. However there are no GAPPS pre installed on the UI
I installed GAPPS for 5.1.1 through TWRP and the installation was successful. But after rebooting the device, I found no GAPPS installed on it. weird.
Is there any solution for this?? Please let me know asap.

The battery seems good, you can perfectly use your phone a day. Small story, I was listening music 30 to 40 minutes without losing a percent. However, I will add some tweak on the next build.

Yes the Wi-Fi seems have some issues, but it's works. Did it work or not at all. The issue is that the WI-FI didn't received to much signal. It's still received 2MO or less it's depends on your internet connection.
Moreover thanks for all support and your comments

The SIM issue is provided by the keyboard issue. After using your keyboard, press the button back, to prevent this issue. If the SiM card have an issue, restart your device. I will try to fix next week I think I have some work this week. Sorry.

Kumar, do you plan MIUI 8 ROM based on latest Nougat 7.1.1 sources?
And in which time interval should we expect that.
Thank you for your patience and time.

Lunecrash is a kernel built by nixgoat and (formerly) maffeen for the purpose of running Halium on the Mi A3. This means getting non-Android operating systems on the Mi A3 using the Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) for blobs (aka drivers). That doesn't mean a completely libre phone since blobs are proprietary, but it means the possibility of getting any Halium-based distribution on the Mi A3. In a nutshell, it's full blown GNU/Linux on your Mi A3 running natively. No need for a VNC or a chroot!
Only bug is the fingerprint scanner.
We recommend installing this through the UBports installer. Check https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/installer/ to install it. DO NOT INSTALL LUNECRASH IF YOUR DEVICE IS RUNNING ANDROID 11. Attempting to do so may brick your device. All other links are available at https://lune.nixgoat.me/
- paul89rulez for creating Fenix kernel (the kernel base)
- The entire Halium and UBports community.
Some notes about the kernel.
The issue with the power button is that it also triggers the power menu. It's most likely an issue with Erfan's GSI but it's still considered a bug.
Bluetooth can be fixed installing a custom bluebinder version in Erfan's GSI Telegram channel. You can find that in the install guide.
Fixed!
Amazing, tnks. :laugh::good:

Big Thanks to @mintphin @maffeen and @derflacco for their original work! I am just a thread maintainer, since these guys unfortunately have a low post count to make a new thread.
New update released! It adds Anbox support.
We're pretty close to getting mobile data! Right now you need to pick for Wi-Fi or mobile data but hopefully someone in Halium figures out how to make it all work.
I was on it for 2 days and it blow my mind (have to go back to AOSP for work n stuff) almost all is working, video record and camera has just a bug in the landscape preview. some FC but calls, text, whatssp web app works flawlessly, Im very excited cos I love Linux and bored of Google, I hope if the devs or one of you guys can tell me how can I help more than sharing the news and showing in youtube the procedure to install it, I want to collaborate, please just point the rigt direction to me I will apreciate it.

Oh, for the camera you need to install a new camera app with
Code:
wget https://static.peat-network.xyz/junk/ubports/com.ubuntu.camera_3.1.2+gstdroid3_armhf.click
pkcon install-local --allow-untrusted com.ubuntu.camera_3.1.2+gstdroid3_armhf.click
sorry posted on wrong thread
Thanks for your work! That's very interesting too see that Mi A3 can run OS other than android. I also saw video of @mintphin on youtube and he said that mobile network has been fixed (is that correct?).
I'm hoping that mobile network is fixed so that I can try the rom and (maybe) see if I can play with the code.

Mobile data doesn't work yet. I thought it would work in a release but it seems it's not. I'll try to get that fixed in the next few weeks.
Thanks for bringing the juice of GNU/Linux to mi a3. 4G mobile data and mobile hotspot availability is also appreciated.
How can I install Anbox on the device? When i checked out official UB ports forum, found out that it will be for only certain devices.
Love,

I would really not recommend it because of how experimental it is (literally broke the GUI on my phone) but if you insist... http://gist.github.com/Vince1171/69cdcb2e90f2c70e3ee24de93da8caac
Ok I am back on UBports, now I decided to use it from now as main device, I forced myself to stay "non googled" for at least 6 monts on daily use with this OS, no worries I can with it, but my question is... how can I help you devs? (obiously donating but I mean with reports or logs too) It is valuable for you if I share info about usage? or... just need to wait for your releases?, thanks in advance for the camera code, now works pretty fine! BTW can you help me to put time (utc) correctly? it don't change either manually or automatic mode, ty.

Tbh we don't need data about usage. About the UTC thing, run these commands:
Code:
sudo mount -o remount,rw /
sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Wow, this is awsome! I saw that there is already a port of ubport for the mi a3, but it seems to be abandonned, no update since a while. I cant wait to try this. But i have to wait for my warrenty to be expired, first.
