The 1st roll out for Xperia Z3 of Android 5.1.1 is started so
I created this pre-rooted zip of 23.4.A.0.546
with the latest SuperSu and XZDR 2.8.21 for D6603

xposed works fine for me, I searched for xposed 5.1.1 on xda and the first one I found worked

Managed to loose root and recovery and end up soft bricking my phone last night using a different pre rooted rom. Recovered but through Sony and now on . 546 Un rooted stock.
Can I flash this rom in flashtools somehow?

Not sure if you can do it that way but what i would do is downgrade back to kitkat and root using TowelRoot. Then flash this lollipop pre root using philz recovery.

I'm in kitkat 4.4.4 rooted. If i follow your guide to update, will i need to flash something else after finishing? (like kernel or baseband). I'm doing a nandroid now.

Has for Battery it's still the same still drains havn't notice any buys on it so far. :good:

Cheers for this works fine apart from every music app gets killed when the screen is off for a few mins. I've turned off stamina, added exceptions to stamina mode etc but nothing has fixed it. Any ideas? Bit of a bugger when driving/ listening to music. Only started since flashing this.
Edit: sorted was Greenify. Must be a bit more efficient with the new os version as nothing was different from before

should I "fastboot flash boot boot.img" or something else?
My phone is running Carbon Rom 5.1.1 kernel 3.4.0 and it get stuck on sony logo when I've tried to flash this trough recovery

I am on .28 and I don't want to install all my apps again

Try to update only with dalvik and cache wipe but no warranty. But i think your firm is to old to flash without data wipe.

I had flashed unlocked zip, and no any issues. Do u flash it with TWRP or any other recovery?

Try first to update to .200 with data wipe than .232

Updated straight from 546 to 232 italy version without any problems only wiping cache and dalvik.
No need to flash step by step via version 200. Have problems, use the italy version:

I created a pre-Rooted + dual recovery

whath do you need?
A)D6653 model
B) functional recovery (TWRP).
Steps:
1) Put "D6653_23.4.A.1.264_Customized HK-SuperSU-v2.46-XZdualrecovery2.8.21-signed", in your internal memory.
2) Reboot in to recovery TWRP (yes only TWRP)
3) Make a BackUp (optional of course)
4) Wipe caches
5) Flash D6653_23.4.A.1.264_Customized HK-SuperSU-v2.46-XZdualrecovery2.8.21-signed ( flash with TWRP)
6)done!

Hk=hongkong, and no, it does not cause any issue in your signal. the región name is used only for preinstalls apps, apps from hongkong región (you can uninstall them)
The signal depend of you model (d6653, d66xx...)

It should.
anyway you can Download from rovo's thread "uninstaller", if after flash the zip ( v80) you get in to bootloop, you can flash unistaller and every is fine again.

I would like to add that sometimes after updating all google apps they show a message saying that there's not internet and try again. All you have to do is remove the last line on your hosts file (/etc/hosts). This issue is not always happening but just in case.

New baseband and some kernel overwriting, now i have better WiFi signal and some small fix like smart loock for example now works better, some small fixes like that.

You can't flash this with flashtool. You need to flash in recovery.

This ROM only can flash via recovery. Flashtool use for flash "FTF" files (not "zip") . You don't need unlock bootloader for flash this ROM.

Is there anyone experiencing a poor Wi-Fi problem on this ROM?

I'm currently on 6.0.1 (Z3 - D6653) - 23.5.A.0.575 non-rooted.
Do you recommend I do a clean wipe to install this? Or can I install on top?

You need to root your phone and install custom recovery before you can install this ROM.
