Currently my phone is alright. Also there is no mm tot file available for lg g3 d855. Also board diag method littlebit tough. So thats why i share this. On the s3 thread with debrick image they fix their phone when it gone into Qualcomm mode....so i just create dbrick image from my phone lg d855 and share it here because if it works for s3 hope it works for us. Both use Qualcomm chipset

Great Work done. Could you make a debrick image for D851 Kitkat V10c? If not, could you create a thread showing how to create the debrick image?
I have a D851 that is Hard Bricked and as you may have known, Board Diag doesnt work on the D851 variant.
Thanks.

Hello here is the file you needed but you need a working d851 with twrp. Flash the file in twrp will create a dbrick.img. if you will fix your phone by using the method showing in this thread Please report because still don't know it's useful or not.

Thanks man!...i am going to post this in the D851 forum and hope someone flashes it and uploads the zip.
I hope i can tag you in the Request thread i will be making.
For what its worth, my D851 would only show up as LGE Android Net without Download mode or recovery or boot. I had to short the pins for it to get into Qualcomm 9008. But after restoring the compressed backup i found on the site you attached, now it shows up as Qualcomm 9008. It no longer shows up as LGE ANdroid Net.
SO i am guessing with a debrick image from a D851, it will work.

Ok than you need kitkat dbrick.img

For all people with Windows 10 an problems with drivers (device is detected by Windows but app is not connecting). Decompress de correct cab for your Windows version, and update the driver "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008" with the path you used to extract. Now this driver isn't advertising that isn't signed anymore, and all apps will connect with your LG G3

LG G2 D802 Refurbished/Frankenphone - D800

Need help please.
I've bought LG G2 d802 from local store. After searching through forum I've found it's actually D800 also through opening back cover of my phone i confirmed it was d800.
Now I need to upgrade to Lollipop and have custom rom,
I've read it many threads like

http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/issues-refurb-d802-32gb-lg-flashed-t3034823
but none help.
I've tried IOroot to root my phone but not work for me, gives error when "Apply update from ADB"
- Doin' stuff...
set_perm: some changes failed
E: Error in /tmp/update.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted
I also tried one click root someone told me ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951 ) but this also doesn't work.
Any help from someone would be highly appreciated.
Thanks...

Then I'd go to download mode and flash the 20c tot for the D800 since that's what you have. It's posted here on xda, a search will be necessary. It's kitkat and is the newest tot we have to my knowledge. Since you were planning on this being a D802, I'll infer that you're not an AT&T customer so OTA's are not an option. For that reason, and the fact we have nothing newer than a kk tot...once you get to stock, you'll have to root and flash twrp (for the d800) and then flash a custom rom such as Cloudy or similar to get a LP rom. So using the 20c kitkat tot makes life easier since then autorec works for twrp and stumproot also works on 20c I believe.

You don't have root right now so you can't backup your efs. You can and should back it up after flashing the tot and rooting though. I've not heard of people corrupting their efs during the tot flash but anything can happen I suppose. So yeah, the thread you linked should work good. There's also a return to stock thread for the g2 that you can reference. I can't post links well right now being mobile but if you search "LG g2 return to stock" it'll come up first in your Google search results.

And how do i know i am going for 32gb version files ?
Yeah that's the thread I was talking about. You can use it as a reference because it has good pic instructs. But at the end of the day, you'll be using the 20c tot from the thread you linked earlier. It is correct for your 32gb phone. All D800 tots are 32gb because all D800's are 32gb.
If it's local store, why don't you just return it and try to get a not frankenphone one if they have it? Worth a shot

Open tot with hexeditor, search for "800". First instance should be full model number followed by s/w version. Edit only that first model from D800 to D802. Save and exit. You may still need the 8974 dll to avoid cross dll error.

I assume that's because you don't have an active AT&T SIM installed. As mentioned, you'll need to get your LP by way of root, recovery and a custom rom. Are you still able to make calls in your current state? If so, you're good. The D800 works globally to my knowledge. Or at least in most regions, not sure about all.

LG-G2 (D802) HardBricked !! Due To Wrong kdz file flashed (White lines) Helpp ??

Hi Moderators & Helpers !
I Have My Newly Purchased Lg G2 (d802) International version . I used it for a month then i rooted it with ioroot tool . it was successfully rooted then i used autorec kitkat tool to install t.w.r.p recovery when i rebooted my g2 it was bricked only white lines appeared on the screen .. i digged on internet for this problem and then i came to know that autorec patched some wrong kernel file ... Then i was unable to go to download mode , recovery mode .
After Few More Hours Of Search I Flashed Some Img file like (Boot.img,laf.img,aboot.img etc) with fastboot then i was able to go to download mode my G2 was on bootloop with lg logo appears and then i think downloaded some wrong kdz file of G2 and flashed it with LG flash tool and now my device is again showing white lines whenever i switched it on or connect to my laptop and after few seconds like about after a minute its Led Light starts changing like before and at the same time my pc recognises it as LGE Android Phone and Cdc Serial communication and after installing Lg Drivers now it its show this in device manager :
LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM41)
What Should I Do Im Completely Lost Now No Download Mode , Fastboot , No Recovery Mode
I Know Some of the moderators who can help me with this problem
@george7565 @Krytonite etc Please Your Help Should be Very Much Appreciated ..

I am talking about those refurbished sets that come from Ali Baba, Ali Express and Ebay mostly. Their vendors are Chinese, Vietnam, Thailand and Honk Kong.
These sets hardware is a Frankenstein package. And D802 IMEI is injected. On D800 D801 LS980 and their software also tampered to look alike D802.
So LG Mobile Support Tool simply Flashes D802 Lollipop on them and hard bricking them.

You can extract the .DLL from the KDZ with WindowsLGFirmwareExtract v1.2.7.0 you can find on XDA.
I assume I would just use ODIN for this?
Oh wait, this is for the 815, I have the 810.

can you grab 11A from LG website? I tried and failed (For VK815). My VK815 was rooted started acting up and I did factory reset. Now i cant get past startup screen since setup.exe crashes. Unfortunately it is not working. I want to downgrade my LG K10 from 6.0 to 5.0.1.
I was trying your method (LGUP) and flashtool. Using your guide I had error code 0x2000. By flashtool I get message that there are server connection problems.
Any ideas?

It must be some problem with your drivers. Most of them install many drivers for LG Mobile and I recommend you to have only one driver.

[GUIDE] Unlocked Bootloader on H818!

Hi guys!
NOTE: I got to know that Marshmallow version of H818 is unrootable. Will be releasing new aboot patch for lollipop.
I got the aboot of Lollipop now. It will be patched and uploaded. Then you can root using your usual root method and then flash the patched aboot.

No more secure boot error!
I thank my friend @cerg2010cerg2010 for helping me out in patching the aboot.
ONLY FOR DEVELOPERS
This is the method I followed for K10. K10 has two qualcomm phones .i.e. K420DS & K420N. K420DS & K420N are identical except that K420DS has more RAM. I have the K420DS phone. I found a vulnerable version of firmware for K420N which is rootable and does'nt belong to my country. Got the aboot patched. I went on and flashed the aboot.
Result: It worked! I got into TWRP!
This is the method you need to follow too. Have Patience!
So there is no fool proof method that you will get bootloader unlocked on the firmware you expect it too. If you want to get bootloader unlocked get ready to take risks.

Did you downgrade to Lollipop version of Android?
You most probably would have flashed the wrong partition or the boot partition. Which partition did you flash?

Hi,
When i click on your link i can download this version H818P20g_00_1014.kdz
Or it's a Marshmallow version and not Lolillop version, is it not a problem? or perhaps i don't understand the step.
Thank you

Hmmm
My variant was H818P
My Rom Camuix4
And your answer is no boot logo no download mode no charging icon
Just when i press the power button it will vibrate very short
I sent phone to LG Service hope they won't find i changed something in my phone
I sent my phone to LG because of bootloop problem one week ago and they changed my mother board it was 510 and now is 611
Important things is i flashed this file twice
At first to mmcblk0c8(it was my typing fault)
At the second time to mmcblk0p8

How did you find out your aboot partition?
You should be careful on what you type out and which partition you flash on. It happened to me once. I flashed the patched aboot for my phone it was perfectly fine until I flashed( a wrong partition? ) a TWRP I built which bricked my phone. No download mode nothing. I sent it to repair. They repaired it for free.

The very first mistake you did is flash it over CamUIX 4 ROM. Did you follow the guide properly? I told you to downgrade to this. Then flash the aboot.

The guy who requested me for the patched aboot sent me the aboot file from H818P20g_00_1014. So download the KDZ I mentioned in the guide and then flash the aboot.

Don't come to conclusions mate. The guy who tried it and bricked his device has CamUIX 4 ROM installed. I explicitly mentioned in the guide to downgrade to the lower version of Android. I attached a link to the file too... It's not my mistake if people don't read the guide properly and blindly do things.
The firmware link you provides is marshmallow rom and its can't be rooted now.how to do your steps because the 1st one is wrong.

maybe you want to link them to the lollipop firmware ? https://lg-firmwares.com/download-file/?fileId=706

Nice Note  When I will post the patched aboot for lollipop then I will post the link to the firmware. The current patched aboot I published works for Marshmallow.

Question: If i use your patched aboot for marshmallow on my rom, it's the stock rom V20g-EUR-xx does it work or it's better to do with the link you provide?
