OPT black screen stuck pressing pwr button - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
my OPT won't dispaly anything.
When you press the pwr button the display ignites for a short time in dark grey and the blue buttons glow.
Then nothing comes to the screen, no andoird boot logo etc. Just a black screen.
You can connect it to PC it will identified correctly as a A0001.
Fastboot commands in fastboot mode is possible but you see nohting on the screen. recovery mode is just similar wehn you hiut the button combination it vibrates the display ignite for a short time drak gray then nothing appers.
When in fastboot mode and test OEM unlock the device's bootloader ist locked.
All combination with pwr button hit and Vol +/- no response , nothing shows at the screen is stays black
The Display is changed by a new one so a Dispayy error is not possible.
Mega unbrick guide passed through have the Oxygen image on it but after pressing pwr button nothing appears on the screen
Any Help for me possible. ?

is it dead?

hello guys..i'm a newbie in android, and, i have a big problem now. i tried to install another rom instead of the stock one (spanish), and now my device doesn't start at all. i tried many ways, and each time i was able to go to fastboot menu or recovery menu. now, after i've done some steps from this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=491350&highlight=model+incorrect , my device keep restarting by himself. I cannot reach even recovery menu or fastboot menu. It starts the logo screen for 4-5 seconds, and after that is restarting and again the logo, even if i'm trying to press home+power or camera+power. what can i do???
My problem is like in this movie
if i press action button + power, nothing happends on the screen, but the blue led in the right top corners stays powered on. Do you know why?
If you cannot get in to recovery (home + power) or the SPL (power + camera) then you're doomed.
not even with jtag or something, cannot be done?
Unless you physically replace the motherboard (which doesn't look too hard) then no you can't. As of yet there's no Jtag method.

Hang at Startup after overclock

i had rooted my device, wiped, install cm7 & used for 3 weeks. one day, i booted the phone in recovery & choose to adjust cpu frequency from 1000 to 1200(it was stated that kernel 2.3 is needed). As i was running Android 2.3.7, i proceed to save the 1200 setting n boot my device, but it just boots with the red MT logo n green LED lights up, will reboots & not pass the motorola red batwing logo. Any ways i can get hold of my data?
Is it that i have screwed up my kernel? i did not update my kernel b4, i just rooted, install Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap v1.0.0.3, n cm7. is it considered im still on original kernel?
Have you tried to re enter recovery and re adjust your speed to 1000? Or maybe you can try to increase vsel values.
right now, my device only shows motorola logo with random blue n green led light up n gone. can pls tell me how to re-enter recovery? i can enter into the original recovery mode by pressing x n power but it only gives me option to wipe device. unlike the custom recovery menu that has many other options.

When the blue and green light shows, press 'Up' Voume button (or is it 'Down') and it will enter Boot menu, go into Recovery and do a full wipe.
Thread moved to General, please ask all your questions here
Cheers!
When you reboot, the motorola logo appears. After 5 or 6 seconds the logo blinks and then the blue led lights up. Press the volume down key when the blue led lights up to enter boot menu. Press the volume keys to highlight and the power key to choose. Be quick when pressing the volume down key because my phone does not enter boot menu unless i press the volume down key during the blue light, pressing the key when the other colors light up dont work.

[Q] PowerON + VolUP + VolDown does not work on my N7 3G

If powered off, pressing together PowerON + VolUP + VolDown does not power on my N7 3G to bootloader. It gives no response.
After releasing this combination, I have to long press PowerON to power on the N7 3G, as it cannot power on properly.
However, PowerON + VolDown does work, this combination boots my N7 3G to bootloader. It is strange...
Also, after flashing recovery, I tried to make it permanent by
Code:
mv recovery-from-boot.p recovery-from-boot.bak
However, it said "no such files".
I tried to "ls" and could not find anything like "recovery-from-boot.p" and "recovery-from-boot.bak"
But the recovery does stick...not sure why
(I used recovery-CWM-touch-6.0.2.3-tilapia.img)

AFAIK, there is no such button combination Pwr+Vup+Vdwn.
What is happening is that you are putting the tablet into APX mode with Pwr+Vup
Once it goes into APX mode, it takes 13 sec of holding Pwr down continuously to cause a reset to occur. It takes another 3-5 seconds after this before the bootloader splash screen shows up.
If you continue to hold down the power button, and press Vdwn within 1 second (be ready for it!) of the bootloader splash screen (B&W Google logo in center of screen + unlocked padlock image at bottom if the bootloader is unlocked) appearing on the screen, the tablet will go to fastboot mode.
If you miss that short-lived opportunity the bootloader will attempt to boot the image in the boot partition (LNX); which is to say: a normal OS boot.
In general you can always force a reboot by holding the power button down long enough (no matter what mode the tablet is in!) - and if you have Pwr+Vdwn pressed within one second of that bootloader splash screen appearing, the bootloader will go into fastboot mode rather than attempting a normal boot.

Thanks for point this out.
It is strange that many tutorials which I read are having instructions saying this combination can bring your N7 to bootloader. That's why I got confused.

Hardware button don't work in bootloader?

Hey guys. I just got LG G6 H870 model. Unlocked bootloader without much problems, but issues came later. While being in bootloader I can't do anything, hardware buttons seem to not work. The only way to get out of bootloader is to use "fastboot reboot" command, but that prevents me from getting into custom recovery after flashing it. Only entering download mode works (holding volume up and plugin in usb cable). Non other key combination work until I boot into system.
Can this issue be somehow resolved?
I had similar problem myself with entering recovery more and the reason behind it was that I didn't press the button combo in proper way. what you actually have to do is while you in fastboot mode you press down and hold power button and volume down button. phone reboots after a moment and you should still be holding these keys and when lg logo appears you let go of power button for brief second and then press it back again and then when a prompt on white screen appears just go yes two times and phone shall boot in recovery mode . I had watch a tutorial movie to figure that out. other easy way is just to have adb enabled and reboot it with adb reboot recovery command via USB cable

No, because I had G5 and I know the proper way to do that. Problem is I can hold the power button as long as I live and the phone won't reboot, regardless of pressed combination or power button solo.
and the adb command way ?
Well... Nevermind, turns out vol down button isn't working at all.
still good way around is adb reboot recovery

Help! Stuck on black screen and cannot get to fastboot

I tried unrooting my 6T and something went wrong. Now when it boots it shows the bootloader unlocked warning then goes to black screen and stops. It will randomly vibrate when I press the screen or the power button. My computer doesn't recognize it and I can't even seem to be able to turn it off completely. The only thing I can get it to do is reboot by pressing and holding the power and volume up buttons.
Any advice on how I can force it into fastboot or get my computer to recognize it so I can working on it?

Keep pressing simultaneously volume up , volume down and power button all three of them until you get the fastboot screen.
It maybe takes a while...

like the first answer:
hold vol up, vol down and power butten as long as the phone boots into fastboot mode and flash fastboot Rom OR
hold vol up and vol down for about 5-6 seconds, and plug your phone to your computer. if it gets recognized (with typical sound of windows) try msm tool. And be sure you have the qualcomm driver installed.
