S Health on lock screen - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

On previous Galaxy devices, the S Health step counter would show on the lock screen. I have found no way so far to get this to show on the S7 Edge. Anyone had any success with this?

You can activate an edge feed with the step counter or if you use the Good Lock app, it supports lock screen widgets. Otherwise, I don't know of any ways.

I did find another way as I really don't like the Good Lock app. You can use an edge feed to see the step counter on the lock screen.

[Q] Lock Screen Widgets with Security Lock

Hi Guys
Apologies if this has been asked before but the search feature doesn't seem to be working.
Got my S4 a few days ago and loving it, but there is one thing that has been annoying me.
If i set up any sort of security lock on the lock screen I am unable to add widgets. It only seems to work when you have swipe set as your unlock option. I was able to add widgets just fine on my S2 running jellybean with a pattern lock.
Does anyone know a way around this? On the S2 jellybean you had an option to show the normal swipe lock screen before the security lock screen. Hopefully this will be something they will add in a coming update because it really was a great option.
Would like to know if this is happening for other people, if anyone has got around it or if any one has any alternatives that I could try
Its done as a security feature. Its not very secure having a PIN to unlock your device yet have widgets for email, Twitter etc accessible from the lock screen.
I'd like to be able to access the camera from the lock screen too, but unfortunately no luck.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh yes.........but we are on Android, not Apple, where the consumer would like to make this choice!

What you're saying is not true. On vanilla jellybean on the nexus 7, you choose the widgets that you want accessible from the lock screen. Even with security on.

How to get widgets on pattern lock screen?

I know if you disable any security on the lock screen, you can put widgets on it by swiping left and right. The only problem is, when you enable pattern lock or pin or whatever, you cant get widget on the lock screen anymore.. WTF? I know the stock 4.2.2 can get it because my Nexus 7 is able to do it no problem.
Anyone know any tricks around this?
Thanks!

[Q] Looking for the way to have a completely transparent lock screen with nothing on

I'm on rooted i9500 at the moment, stock android 4.2.2
Looking for a way to completely remove anything on the lock screen (make it transparent), aside the top status bar.
Lock screen can be in 2 modes at the moment. The first one, is with only once widget, and the other is with multiple widgets. And it would be perfectly fine with the single widget lockscreen, if only when I remove the clock widget (or "life partner") widget it didn't come back the next time the screen is locked.
I found a way to make it "kinda" work with multiple widgets, and the blank lockscreen widget:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wordpress.chislonchow.blanklockwidget&hl=en
It's ALMOST perfect, as it still has this f**** annoying plus sign on the side, and the top of the lock screen has this animation effect when I slide it. If I removed those 2 things, my lock screen would be perfect for me as I envisioned it in my head.
Any help (again, just a reminder, I am rooted, also have xposed framwework installed).

My last try I guess, or else I risk of getting a warning from a moderator
Anybody?

No alarm on lock screen.

Does anybody know any way to bring back the next alarm to the lock screen - not as an additional widget but natively, on the main lock screen, as it used to be on any other Samsung phones I've had? I know the question has also been asked in the S5's forums but it doesn't seem to have a resolution yet...
Thanks!

S Health on lock screen

Previous Galaxy devices would show the step count from S Health on the lock screen. For the life of me I can't figure out how to make this show on the S7 Edge. Has anyone else had luck with this?
You can use the edge feeds under the edge screen settings. Just swipe the edge when the display is off and have it show the S Health steps. I too miss the lock screen showing it, but that's a way to get it.

You can also use Good Lock (found in Galaxy apps) to app the S health widget to your lock screen. It works well.

I don't see an option for S Health in the edge screen feeds. Was there something you had to download?
No, it was there stock on mine, are you sure your looking in the Edge Feeds setting?

I'm looking at "Edge Panel Settings" where I have the option to select things like compass, weather, sports, news, stocks, etc. There isn't a specific item to select for S Health.
