About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

If i remember right there is no feature to turn those off in DU.
After try for 5 hrs. I found that CPU temp. 55-64 °c (too hot)
That is abnormal .

If you're running xposed, try the Xposed Additions module. I believe it gives full control over the capacitive buttons.

Be happy we're getting builds. These devs aren't making money and have lives just as busy as us flashaholics.
This was a very promising start to this ROM on my t705 . however I will have to switch, no video playback. Problems downloading apk from browser, due to memory management it seems. I have tried both storage methods but problem stil persists. I cannot use Netflix, but camera does work on this ROM. I get a few reboots every so often too! Really feels much better omn battery though! The last ROM I had was draining very quickly
I will be working on fixing the issues, i have to go over the DU source and see what missing compared to cm to fix the bugs.

I didn't have the time to install the build .... I know what I did and will post a small fix .

hi, i'm execute a full wipe. The performance is good and the slow charge performance is only in usb. Stock Rom charges more fast in usb. When change the network type to other option occurs a bug.

Just want to add my thanks for what so far is looking a nice ROM. I was planning to stick to rooted stock with this phone, but eventually the Rom bug got to me again.
The red rectangle was present for me, but did a bit of google-fu, and added:
persist.sys.strictmode.visual=0
persist.sys.strictmode.disable=1
to the build.prop which seems to have solved that problem, in case it helps anyone else.
Not run it for long enough to check battery and reliability yet, but so far things seem good. I particularly like the alternative app switcher!

No problem with whatsapp here, and I am in powersave mode also...
Go to manage apps in settings, and check that notifications are enabled for whatsapp.
If that's ok, I would try to wipe cache and dalvik and see if that fixes your problem. If not, reinstall whatsapp. If not, clean rom install.
I'm using and really recommending this ROM. Everything work like that should. No freezes, no random reboots... Simply, great ROM with great functions and very active develop status.

anyone has problems with the notification led? if i set for example the 2800ff code that is a blue's gradient, the led appears violet! and so on for other gradients. if i set plain color like 0000ff, 00ff00 all works fine.

After last OTA upgrade i have sms issue with dark themes - black digits on dark background are not visible. Light themes with no issue - works ok.
Trying usually ways to fix it (back to default theme, reboot, new theme - with no change, dark themes dont work for sms app...)

I flashed Mokee Rom in My Mi2S yesterday and until now just found the bug from Led notification colors, everything is working like a charm.
Suggestion: Maybe it's only missing some Xiaomi original kernel to have a better balance between battery live and performance or some tweaks to improve it. Not i'm have it working with Energy Saver profile and Power Saver mode ON and the mobile seems to have the same battery life from stock MIUI V5, but seems to be a little bit slower.
For me its a bit early to comment this this. I will let my final opinion here after try it for some more days/week's.

No difference with the 4.4.4 from michaa. I'm using it since December and I usually drop to 70% at the end of the day (average use, mostly wifi)

Bugs are the same as cm12 so atm I've found only the hdr bug

flashed the rom and then flashed the gapps after boot the google play services fc and the home button is not also responding... reflashed the rom with out the gapps and then installed google installer and installed the gapps manually.. The rom is working fine now.. battery looks promising. I slept with 51% remaining on the batt and when i woke after 7hrs the batt is still the same... awesome...
@Matoxxi bro I have been using the using the ROM for 24hrs and would say its awesome..stable and smooth...battery looks very good...flat line during idle time...keep up the good work...hope to see continuous updates for this ROM...

This is by far one of the best ROMs i have used on my Mi3 W (cancro)
Pros:

I think that I found a solution for camera bug
-go to system/apps
-delete camera2 folder
-reboot
-go to play store and install google camera.
Now I have camera 100% fully functional photo and video, and torch too
if someone try to confirm, post it your xperince!!

are these bugs solved by following your procedure?
1. HDR over or under exposes the photo.
2. HDR with mi logo on the left side freezes the camera app.

2 quick questions,
is this version running flawless on the T700? (Now running RR v 5.6.9 on my Note 3 without issues and wanna change the T700 to RR too)
Which Gapps to use? Link leads nowhere, currently using Slim Gapps by Dankoman on my Note 3 but he announced yesterday that he has stopped so a good alternative would be great to know.

I notice that the device is understood by the rom as T-800 (even get the message that there is "no network", although it's Wi-Fi only ofc).
Not a big deal, just pointing it out in case it matters
Thanks - smooth and fast! The main issue I have is with wifi. I can get it to connect but it keeps dropping off the wifi (in good signal) and then won't reconnect (have to reboot). Seems to happen more when trying to transfer a big file or stream video. Anyone else having wifi issues?

Disable Backlight of Capacitive Buttons (Resurrection Remix ROM 6.0.1_r43 - MOB30J)
I want to programmatically disable the backlight of the capacitive buttons on my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 T700 (klimtwifi). All previous ROMs I've used had this ability built-in and all it took was unchecking a box. My current ROM, Resurrection Remix 6.0.1_r43 - MOB30J, doesn't have this.
I am using GravityBox (MM) to accomplish this but would much rather be able to do it myself, manually, via file modification or some other programmatical method that doesn't involve installing an app to do it. I've done this in the past, on a different device, by changing the value to "0" in a file named "backlight_brightness", or some such. As I recall, the file was located in /sys, /proc, or /dev. I don't remember.
I can't figure out where to make change in this ROM, and I need your help.

Just installed it and it works great! Haven't found any issues yet, bluetooth media & ambient display are working (which pure nexus & cosmic have issues with)
Good customization options and pixel UI tweaks! This is exactly what I was looking for!
edit: there appear to be issues with video recording and 4K in numerous apps, the moto camera crashes when selecting 4K and crashes when recording 1080p, but this appears an issue on most lineage OS based roms....
Dose moto mods work well on this rom?

By working bluetooth you mean working bluetooth media? That'd be great
Also, does sound work at lower volumes for you? I currently use PureNexus, but when I try to set lower volumes while using the speaker piece I only hear louder sounds, not things like background music
