HI, I have build a rom for s7 edge but I have some error with the Facebook app, I install the fb app and when I do a login the app close and is unable to do login, how I can fix this issue? thanks so much

I cant log on to the damn thing. I know that I'm entering the correct user/pass, but I'm allways getting a "There was an error trying to log on. Try again?"
If I intentionally enter the wrong pass, Im getting the message that the entered pass is wrong.
So I know that my PDA has communication with Facebook, but is still unable to log on.
I'm using the latest 1.36 ROM.
Anyone else who has this problem?
I haven't had the problem but have you tried to login on Facebook via their site? Maybe they had a technical problem.
No problems logging on, in a web browser.
m.facebook.com allso works flawlessly on the PDA.
But Facebook integration in HTC Sense, still dossent work
I have same problem so i now always use website.
i had trouble with this but after the htc rom update its been workin fine, although i do have to logout before closing the programme otherwise when i next login it wont refresh or update and comments or status's i make

I can log on to facebook, but it seems that updating stops as soon as I exit facebook app: When I start it again, the only way to get any refresh is to log off and then login to facebook again. Also, the phone shows that the new facebook version from marketplace is installed, but about dialog of the app shows 1.1.0.17 instead of version 1.2 that should be the newest one
After the Facebook crash in september no version at all is working. In the meantime I am using the facebook Instant messenger (fim). It is messenger and also good for accessing facebook. Try it, it works also on HD Mini. See my other posting:

Same problem for me too! Very annoying indeed, and I hope a fix is available soon
When I first got my epic my youtube account was unlinked to a google account. It did it with no problem.
Since then youtube has required that I link that account with a google account so I just based my google account on the e-mail address that was attached to my original youtube account (I didn't use my gmail account). Now all my app does is freeze after I log in and then force closes.
Could someone explain why this happened and what options are there to fix it.
BTW I'm still running 2.1 stock

i am trying to add an account in "accounts and sync" setting but i cannot login to facebook or twitter
i have internet connectivity and everything else works fine
there is a problem also when i try to login to hotspots at airports that require a sign in page. The browser does not redirect me to the login page and rather shows me the "no connectivity" window
any ideas
I've also got exactly the same issue, I was just about to post about it. Just flashed the latest official rom and I can't get these setup through the social hub.
I guess that means that there is some sort of server problem or something, I dunno but I'm glad I'm not the only one
Anyone else got this problem, has the OP fixed it? doing my head in :S

is it a buggy firmware, or are servers down ?
most likely the servers are down.
I've got the same problem at the moment, did a factory reset on my phone and its not letting me log into the account via the social hub anymore.
I can lot in via the facebook and sync via the facebook & twitter apps but not thru social hub.
I'm not running any customs roms so it looks like it might be a server error.
It's working now...
Its seems like its not working again, my facebook login keeps failing via the social hub.
Login works fine if I used the actual Facebook app and/ore login via web page.
Anyone else have this issue today?

i have successfully added second gmail acount through accounts and sync and everything went very well but wheni switch to gmail app and select menu>accounts to switch between accounts, the app is force closing
when i perform clear cache of gmail app and open the app, i am able to select the second account and from there gmail app force closes whenever i try to move to first account.
dual accounts Gmail app is working fine on my Nexus S perfectly
do any one have this issue? any solutions?
Similar problem here too, even worst for me is after setup the gmail and now when I click on the Email app (on widget or app) it will force close and give a error: com.android.email force to close...... I cannot even setup second account, and now I can only access my gmail by clicking on Gmail app...... any solution or same problem???

I'm simply getting a terrible lag where it never opens my inbox. Very frustrating.

I'm having the same issue with the e-mail program. I have set up my exchange account, and it displays correctly in the widget, but if I try to open the app, it force closes. Is there a way to uninstal the app and reinstall it? I have tried clearing all the data and recreating the account. Many thanks!
surprising to see no one else has gmail app issues with second account as i have tried on 3 G Notes and all force closed.........strange coz nobody tested this wanted feature or busy about bragging about pentile matrix (even though you don't know what it is)???????!!!!!!!!!
For the dual count I don't know but it seems for me Gmail app have a stange behaviour. After quiting a sleep of the phone, gmail lag sometimes before opening...
Maybe there's a link between our problems.
Each time I reboot my phone it asks me to log in to Facebook to "Sync Applications". It looks a bit suspicious and I already have Facebook Application installed and I am logged in there. Does anybody know which applications requires this Facebook login and why?
That is for samsung's facebook SNS features...
You can:
1. live with the annoying message at bootup
2. freeze the FB SNS app in TiBu
3. Sign in
It's to sync your crap from your phone to FB... and you have to sign in through the browser is opens instead of the app. I'm assuming because the update the FB app about every 2 days.
