BLU Vivo Air == rebranded Gionee Elife S5.1 - Blu Vivo Air

Hi folks
I just wanted to mention in case you guys don't know, the BLU Vivo Air is simply a rebranded Gionee Elife S5.1. It appears that BLU does not even alter the firmware that is on the phone when it arrives from China. The consequence is that if Chinese put any malware on this phone, BLU would not be looking for it.
This explains why BLU is so tardy in providing updates. It's not their phone to begin with. Any text on the box that says "designed in Miami" is complete bullshìt.
Also of note is the fact that this Gionee company is about to come out with a new phone that is just as thin as the Elife S5.1, is called the S8, has a 5.5 " screen, has 1080 P, and it has more flash storage.

[Q] NFC Problems using HTC 8X and ASUS Vivo Tab RT

Does anyone know how to transfer files from one Win8 device to annother with NFC ?
I tried it with my HTC 8X using the "TAB und Senden" function and on the ASUS Vivo RT the ASUS "Finger Share" App.
According to description a simple trtansfer of i.e. pictures should be possible.
There is no transfer or copy -- only the Vivo RT Tab is beeping when I touch the NFC area with the HTC 8X. (So I thing somthing is going on in the background.)
---------------
By the way ---- I'm very impressed from both of the devices. I think the companies made a good job !

LG G6 Home Launcher (UX+) for any device?

Dears,
recently I purchased a old-fastion LG G Flex 2 32GB and I fallen in love again for the UI I don't want to buy a G6, I have already got the XZ Premium DS and most of all the Mi Mix 6GB the "device candidate for"... the installation of the LG Home.
I looked around and the APK available aren't supported... did we have any guide/tutorial for a porting about the full LG Home Experience with Android 7?
Cheers (and thank you)

Hi, I have a oppo reno 5g, and it seems that this device will never have coloros11.
The reno 5g is the same device of 10x zoom. (Only with a 5g chips, it's the only difference). Does anyone try to install rom of cph1919 into cph1921?
Could it be work?
Thanks
Maybe, but the ROM above isn't ColorOS 11, but 7.1 (Android 10)....

Hey everyone, just to add a little extra spice to this boring dish, I recently contacted Oppo Australia for the umpteenth time about OTA update to Android 11 for my Optus 5G (CPH1921) and a few they gave me the very helpful response below:
I am sorry to know about what you are facing now and are here to solve your issues.
At moment, your OPPO 5G is unable to support/ compatible with Android 11 software.
The processing power and the storage in the phone causing the incompatibility issue in the phone.
I am sorry about this. You may still get security patches for the remainder life of the phone.
I saw red, called BS, said it was already rolled out in India and Indonesia and had been approved for roll out in Europe. I also threatened a call to the AU the ombudsman (wooo) and then got a fresh reply a day later:
Apologies for the inconvenience.
With regards to your concern, we would like to inform that software updates are released over-the-air (through Internet connection) and usually by batches - per device to device, country/region, and not all at the same time.
We have checked that as per the Android 11 Roll Out Plan the OPPO Reno 5G is not part of the update yet. Please kindly stay tuned for the next update.
So... everyone in Australia with this phone is now crystal clear then!?!?! Laughable

HAHHAA It's still unclear... Some people in oppo australia say that the OPPO reno 5g is eligible (I send my IMEI). Sone others always say the same as you.
I would prefer if they are clear and say to me NO the phone will never have Cos 11...
Oppo care say that they work on it...
I think this phone will stuck on Cos 7 with android 10! Boring!

Flashing Wear OS on the OPPO Watch 3 Pro

So the question is, how to flash Wear OS (the newest version) to the Oppo Watch 3 Pro?
(This Watch is currently the best Smartwatch on (chinese) markt and you can already buy this watch from china online...
You guys may know that Oppo fails everytime again and again in bringing out an global version of this watch series.)
I just wanna use this watch normally in my language with all the normal features and apps.
So i don't wanna wait, is there any way to flash it, (cause noone needs Color Os) !?
I second this, in China now considering buying one. The chance of a Wear OS 3 rom would definitely push me over the edge to buy Anyone know if it's possible?
Hoping this comes true too
I just bought the watch 2 days back and didn't notice it's Color Os now am waiting for the rom so i can root it and switch to wear os
