How to safely root the Vivo Air LTE without using dodgy exploits? - Blu Vivo Air

I would like to root this phone so that I can remove any bloatware or spyware.
However I am concerned that exploits such as Kingroot may themselves contain malware.
Thanks for any info.

What you can do is temporarily root with the latest KingRoot for Windows then on Blu vivo air LTE phone buy install super Sume and remove KingRoot and replace it with SuperSU works I tried on my phone.

Just got one of these and framaroot 1.9.3 worked fine, using the 3rd option to root, Barahir exploit iirc.

Already tried Kingo Root . .. Seems like it is not possible to root this phone after the KitKat upgrade... When was running Jellybean on this phone , i was able to root it using Framaroot, but not anymore ... ZTE is evil LOL, now i can't change the bootloader and rom either :crying:
How to root zte blade l2 that has been updated to kitkat
Hi guys, I recently got a ZTE Blade L2 its a nice device but it has only 4GB of internal memory and as you know a portion is used for system apps and such. This made it really annoying when installing apps to this device. It was made even more annoying by the fact that my specific carrier had upgraded the device to android kitkat 4.4.2. Write access to a user's SD was not permitted in android KitKat, this made having this device absolutely maddening for a heavy app user such as myself I couldn't even install the social network apps I liked to use.
I scoured the internet, forums, blogs in all sorts of languages and tried several methods to root this device but to no avail. Apparently when you upgrade to kitkat, rooting this device becomes a total pain in the nether regions.
Anyway just tonight I found an app that successfully rooted my device and its easy as one two three.
You simply install the app
You tap root and wait
It will ask for permission to install the kinguser app, you allow it
And then poof you're rooted
Trust me it works.
The app is called Kingroot.
NOT KINGOROOT which is totally different.
Here's. Link, just tap the first one on the page to download the apk.
The page is in Chinese but its way easy to understand.
Best of luck.
Now you're on your way to circumventing those pesky limitations that this device has.
Link to Kingroot apk:

towelroot schi705

So i used Towelroot On my SCH-I705 - VRBMI1 on 4.1.2 - Stock Official Root Achieved Su installed and confirmed by Root checker, Just Thought Id Share!!

Just go here: https://towelroot.com/
Tap the lambda, install the .apk, then "make it rain"! After that, download SuperSU from the app store. Run that. Afterward, download Rootchecker from the app store to confirm root.
It's nice to have root on this device, but it seems ROM development is dead. Mainly due to the locked bootloader. This device is becoming a fancy paperweight more than anything else, sadly.

Sadly most verizon devices are slowly becoming dead as far as rom development. Thankfully I have the WiFi version 3113 and don't have a locked bootloader

Root on 4.4.4 Kitkat

So in the Note 4 Dev page "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60610290&postcount=173" they have achieved root on KK (4.4.4) by using King Root. Unfortunately due to the status of the locked boot loader on the Note 4, it is only temp and will unroot the phone after a reboot. Has anyone with a Note 3 tried using King Root yet? And if so, do you only have temp root like the N4?
King Root works on generic 32 bit phones. Note 3 is a 32-bit phone
Instructions w/APK from another post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60612907&postcount=183
It failed on 4.4.4 NK1.
After the reboot, the app ran again automatically but failed again.
Now I'm uninstalling the app.

I have been reading up on the Note 4 forum on Xda and people are saying that it may take couple tries before root access is granted. *Must be online for the app to work, as it connects to their servers to see what exploits can be used to root the phone.
I m on 4.4.4 NJ6, i tried to root with kingroot but it seens that doesn't work
can also confirm that nk1 it did not work. I've even gone as far as trying the pingpong root and the root that the xperia recently got. We are all desperate.
Have any of you guys try opening king user after using kingroot and grant root permissions to something like root checker or does the app just fail while trying to obtain root?

I've tried using root checker after multiple root attempts and reboots and it always fails to verify.
I've tried King Root v4.1. Didn't work on NK1.

I can second that.
I can third that
kingroot wasn't able to root it in either attempt I made, 4.4.4 or 5.0 . I tried with both the android apk and the pc version. Its possible that it requires multiple attempts (its all in chinese so who knows what exploits it is trying)
I just got a replacement device and it came with 4.4.4 so I am hoping to find something to root. there doesn't seem to be anything that works yet.

Thanks for the update on your attempts, ACalcutt.
That's right, it is in Chinese. Who here can read it? I, for one, am curious to learn which exploits it is attempting.
Any updates on this? I have an opportunity to get a Note 3 with NJ6 on it for free from a friend... will Kingroot work? I've kept my finger on the pulse of the Note 4 forums, and I'd do kingroot and then supersume, if it would work.
Thanks!

Does Magisk / Systemless work with our root?

In short, Pokemon GO's new update is just taking a massive dump on it's rooted supporters and we can't play the game on the new update. Would our root be able to hide it and allow it to played on our phones with root, still?

Yeah I am, but I read somewhere that Magisk requires an unlocked bootloader, but I don't know if the Systemless portion is different.
Most people would say, forget the game, and keep root, but I'd like to keep both, as I've put a lot of time into the game to have this crappy company screw us like this...
If xposed and Pokémon is incredibly important to you I suggest trying the following. There's a work around for snap chat. Same scenario. You have to install and log into snap chat before installing xposed. Get it to build cache so it doesn't do the device check then install xposed. Profit. I'm not sure but it's worth a try.
I had it working then it ****ed my phone up couldn't get it again

The problem is that the new version of poGo is using the same SafetyNet check that Android Pay does to check for root.
Apparently, the only thing that works for this is Magisk (at the moment).
The latest Pokemon Go app is using SafetyNet checks, so this goes far beyond the Snapchat workarounds.

So the question is can we flash magisk with flashf ire?
Or would something like rootcloak possibly work?

Root Cloak won't work. I tried that on 2 different Samsung phones :/
I'm on tekx rom and when I tried to unroot via SU my s7 edge would only boot into recovery... so I restored a backup.
It's awefully silly to keep rooted users from playing. Seems like they run out of ideas to find GPS spoofers lol
I have rooted my S7 Edge SM-G935F using chainfire-auto-root ODIN method
^ New Pokemon Go update does not work with this root method - I have used rootcloak from xposed - also does not work. You need to root using MAGISK so here is my question.
1. How do I unroot my phone that I rooted using ODIN Chainfire-Auto-Root file?
2. How do I root S7 Edge SM-G935F using "MAGISK" so i can play pokemon go after this new update?
has anybody tried rooting S7 Edge SM-G935F using MAGISK method yet? does it work? please reply and please give a guide or step by step i am a newb

I'm afraid I have to tell you that over on reddit the developer of magisk said that Samsung devices are only supported if they're on a "custom" kernel.
Although I don't know at which point a kernel stops being stock :/

Successfully rooted Motorola Droid turbo

Hello Guys,I have Successfully rooted my motorola droid turbo su4tl-49 without using sunshine or moforoot.I did by first using vroot then iroot then kingoroot then atlast i tried kingroot apk downloaded from kingroot. In 3rd attempt my cell phone was rooted successfully.
I have rooted set.Can i install xposed framework in it without unbricking it?
Can i also unlock its bootloader?
I am able to delete system files like verizon cloud app ,amazon kindle etc.
It doesnot work if you will use directly kingroot, you must try all these app first.i tried this on two turbo sets
Whoever wants to know step by step i can guide you how to root this.root fix occur every time by kingroot but remains rooted.
I have not installed adaway or xposed or twrp i dont want to be brick.need help to do this
I tried this on 2 turbo still result the same.its because i used many exploits .
I can give proof and can live explain to me if someone wants proof i can show i am not lying.u can send me your whatsapp or imo contact,i will show you rooting it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBEa9Q__AeM&feature=youtu.be
Please watch this video as a voice recording how i did this
And when you reboot, it's still rooted? It's not hard to have temp root but doesn't do any good since you can't really write to system to make changes.
With unlocked bootloader you can have permanent root.
Excuse us for being very skeptical.

You still haven't convinced us it's permanent root that can make permanent changes to system. Install Adaway. Install Xposed and modules. Install TWRP custom recovery so you can flash zipped files. Install SuperSu. Do that and report back to us.

Either something is rerunning a temproot each time, or he has a device that for some reason has no write protection (engineering device, already unlocked or bad flash controller).
If the first one, its not going to last with the mm patch, nor would it remain stable. Many things will just break.
If the second one, then its specific to his phone.

Motorola not open for rooting or unlocking bootloader? Where did you get that idea? Yes they are. You get free unlock codes from Motorola -- unless you have a Verizon model.
It's Verizon, not Motorola that is the problem. They demand the locked down bootloader. All my Quarks have free bootloader unlock, straight from Motorola. They are very helpful.
But Sunshine paid exploit takes care of the Verizon problem. How do you think this phone has 9 Marshmallow ROMs, and a Nougat ROM? I'm not even counting all the custom Lollipop ROMs. Bootloader unlock and root, baby.
This guy says he rooted (permanently) without unlocking the bootloader through Sunshine. Which is impossible with the Droid Turbo, unless he has a magical phone (previously unlocked, and he didn't know or some hardware flaw that allowed it.)

You can also install a Marshmallow stock ROM released by Motorola for the Brazilian Quark. @iiWoodstocK adapted it so it runs on ANY Quark, including the XT1254 Droid Turbo or XT1250 U.S. Moto Maxx (clone of the XT1254). It will use YOUR radio, whatever you have installed.

I didn't include it in the list above, because while technically it is a custom ROM, the only "customization" was to allow it to be flashed via TWRP and to allow it to be used on ALL Quarks: XT1254/XT1250/XT1225. Otherwise, it's pure Motorola Marshmallow stock which was officially released for a Quark phone.
iiWoodstocK said:
this ROM is just factory Marshmallow with a modded build.prop. I didn't include any radio in the .zip, so it uses whatever is currently on the device. Aside from my build.prop tweaks, this ROM is even usable for Brazilian XT1225 users, but the device will say it's a Droid Turbo and contain useless CDMA build.prop lines.

Not at all. AFAIK, you don't have to regret erasing that e-mail at all. The Sunshine exploit must be paid once per device, so it would have been useless anyway
