I didn't think about that. You have a good point.I'll post a flashable zip of the stock gallery. Just in case anyone wants it. On the EYG kernel the gallery freezes but I'm looking into it.

you can use VLC or any other video player to play videos at any speed. you don't have to use the stock gallery app

Ok i fixed it, seems that when first opened it didnt have all the controls and then i closed and reopen and the controls showed up, dont kno what that was about but sorry for the false alarm

It would be best right now the stock gallery freezes on my kernel and I'm trying hard to fix it. Quick Pic is a great gallery though if you want to stay on the kernel it's up to you

Problem is with hangouts my contacts keep coming up with #s so i cant take screen shot...lol I can white out contacts but it would so much u prob could see pic...make copy of original apk...install drk one...if u don't like uninstall it and reinstall original apk...

Honestly I have no creative control on HangOuts apk. I'm jus sharing a friends work. I'll mention it to him. But I kinda like it clean with no lines...he themed it to his taste.

Hi guys today I present to you a lightweight version of OmniROM 4.4.4 for our beloved A500. This version of the rom has lots of bloatware removed and is very snappy and fast. So I hope you guys will try out and give your feedback thank you!

Instructions:
1. It is recommended that you use CWM 6.0.4.5 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583710 to flash this rom.
2. Download SuperSU from http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu/ and put it on your device.
3. Now flash the rom and SuperSU zip and GApps in recovery. (Seems like there is a problem when using gapps on tegra 2 devices. I personally think that the only important thing in gapps is the play store and play store was automatically installed with omnirom and i did not even flash gapps. Can anyone try not flashing gapps and getting back to me if play store is there???)
4. Now format cache and dalvik cache. If you are coming from another rom or another android version please format data.
5. Reboot and profit!

I think it would be wise to note that a KK compatible recovery will flash it properly, others may or may not. After downloading, I'm quite pleased with it. The custom launcher is (in this user's opinion) far better then the default launcher included with KK. This port of Omni doesn't have some of the bugs I've noticed in my other Omni port but this one does seem to have a few minor setup issues.
Issues:
Setup wizard opens to a blank screen and the back arrow must be used to get to the actual setup window.
Name setup in the wizard always leads to a crash unless both fields are empty.
Other then that, I can't see any other bugs off hand. This post was made in this port, BTW. :laugh:

But it would be better if you used CWM 6.0.4.5 which i posted 6 months earlier. And for calendar problems that is because i excluded it from the rom you can download the calendar (there are two apks) from the link i posted and put them into the system/app folder
That seems to be the only issue I have found so far..

Ok installed calendar apk, and the calendar storage..the calendar storage crashes saying calendar not available.. Calendar won't open. When storage is uninstalled the calendar opens fine but still won't sync. Google doesn't seem to sync all the way, shows sync error.

Had to adjust the minimum speed to 312 for the CPU in the performance of options due to the crackling in the audio sounds great now.

Also had issues with the SU zip..didn't want to install, said failed. But it might not been because no used TWRP to flash..I installed another one I had saved on my sd and that worked..just the calendar so far is the only issue affecting me so far..awesome work!! Can't believe this thing is still kicking.

yes, you can download TWRP manager from playstore..but it never really installed it for me correctly.. i wish it was a flashable zip..same for cwm. seems we have flash them both in a more complex manor, which im not familiar with.

From their post, there's this TWRP v2.6.3.0, then I went to download goomanager on store. I think using the fastboot to flash is simple enough and straight forward for me. I just put the CWM 6.0.5.4 onto my A500 too, but I found the touch interface of TWRP easier to use. I use TWRP on my phone too, so I get used to that. For CWM, you'll have to use the volume to navigate.
I'm still on the stock ROM though, 4.03, and it has freeze problem. In all kind of apps, it'll suddenly stuck and not responding at all. In the TWRP when I select format, there're choices as format cache, I remember someone mentioned some corruption on A500, so I just did clear two cache areas, I'll see how's going.

Battery Saving Tips
1) Greenify And Wakelock Detector
- Start the wakelock detector app on rom setup... use rom as usual and wait for few hours wakelock detector to get batry consumption stas..!!
- disable or greenify the apps consuming batry..!!
2) Deep Power Saving
- Color has has good batry Saving options its power Management
- Whenever phone is to be kept idle i will suggest to put in Deep save mode and on Communication mode only ( will Result in Less Batry % drop)

this rom is not meant for your u707. ..!!! so obviously its not going to work..!!! the rom is only for the phone lava iris 504q..!! their are no such bugs as u mentioned! ringtone have been deleted to reduce rom size..!! again.... rom is not for u707.......

Sorry sir. I am not complaining, I just thought it would be informative. I am using LAVA 504q Only.
Once again sincere apologize. I sincerely respect the work done. But, really I installed once again and confirm that the above issues surfaced and also the keypad do not work at first time. There are some issues for daily usage. Kindly validate sir. I installed the ROM on lava 504q only and as per the instructions only.

about accepting calls... atleast I didnt face that.... still I will verify..!! ringtones and backup app have been remove delibrately..! because hardly anyone uses that app for backups..!!!
encrypt app was not included in the rom..!!
about keyboard...... it dsnt wrk at strt since default input methods needs to be selected.! I already instructed that... and then it works with no problem..!!
lastly, its a ram eater.... but not laggy..!! I dont know if you playing games..!!!
the rom is not suited for games and end no. of heavy apps to work on...!!

Coming from kk you would need to flash the lollipop bootloader or stock lollipop rom already on lollipop just wipe and do a clean install remember it take some time to boot.

I doubt this is something you've done but I'm getting a big battery drain from Android System and Android OS on this and the stock deodexed version of the XAR lollipop release.

I checked out the thread, thanks. But my suspicion is that it's something with the U.S. ROM, since I didn't have to do any of those things on the Korean, Brazilian or Saudi Arabian ROM, or TW Detox lol. So we'll see what happens I guess..

Charge my tablet to 100 % and after 7 1/2 hrs it's at 97 % only lose 3 % so that's not bad. Make sure the playstore or no apk is running in the background, let the battery go through a couple of charge cycle then charge it to 100 % and do a battery calibration to clean the batterystats it's should improve after a couple of cycles .

That's definitely not bad! Another guy in the lollipop thread was having the same issue on the US firmware so it isn't just me... but that would be cool if it settled in like that!
Quick question, I flashed this rom to check it out. I was coming from a stock lollipop rom and already had the lp bootloader. Rom booted with no problem and ran for a entire day with no issues. However I decided to remove some apps, knoxs being apart of that, again no problem however I booted into recovery and wiped dalvik cache but when I rebooted I got a systems Stop error. This continued several times til I got a couple of reboots followed by a logo freeze. I decided after manually booting into recovery failed odin back to stock firmware now tabs boots to same logo screen and freezes. I can boot to download mode but recovery is still a no go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You need to Odin either TWRP or Philz tar version. Uncheck Auto-Reboot in Odin before installing it. Then after it's installed, unplug and go immediately in to your recovery by rebooting into Download mode, but as soon as the screen comes on, slide your finger from volume down to volume up. Believe me, was stuck in your situation myself.

(b). Q: Where can I get flashable recovery?
The two available recoveries for Sprint GS5 are TWRP and Philz. Both can be found ->HERE<-. The .tar file(s) must be installed with Odin. Zip files are flashed in your present custom recovery. Older versions included, in most cases you'll want to install the latest version. In addtion, @ktoonsez KT TWRP v2.8.2.0 (or newer) is available ->HERE<-.
Note: If Odin link for v3.10 not working, here's alternate.

Continue to hold Pwr and Home buttons until it boots into recovery.
Damn booting in recovery on this thing is a *****.....

What is the VEO X Z2 ULTRA UI pack?
The VEO X Z2 ULTRA UI is a new type of flashable zip. Instead of flashing a brand new ROM and losing all of your data, this Flashable zip allows you to experience awesome UI and Phone tweaks without wiping or losing Root Access. Most of these tweaks come from some awesome developers, so they are credited at the bottom!
Will the VEO X Z2 ULTRA UI zip get updates and patches?
Of course! Don't think that the Awesomeness will stop there! Patches will be created for existing users while updated ones will be for the new users.
Why is it called the 'VEO X Z2 ULTRA UI' pack?
Not only does the name sound cool, but it actually somewhat makes sense as well! Of course, the X means Xperia X, since most of this UI & Tweaks zip package is based off the Xperia X Software. The Z2 part is obvious, and the ULTRA part is a statement on how Awesome this pack is!

Should my ROM be Odexed to use this pack?
Yes. Since the V1.2 release, it is also compatible with Deodexed users as well!
How do I install?
1: Download the Zip file and place on the Root of your sdcard.
2: Reboot into Recovery. (TWRP, CWM, PHILZ...anyone is fine.)
3: Wipe Dalvik Cache and Cache.
4: Flash the zip file you downloaded earlier.
5: Reboot and Enjoy the new features and tweaks!
Why Am I doing this?
Because I want other people to enjoy these awesome tweaks on their Z2!
What makes this UI & Tweaks pack so different from other flashable things?
Because this one is designed to be more, you guessed it, FUN! Even the Flashing process script will be filled with exciting quotes! You'll see what I mean when you flash it!
How often will there be updates for this UI & Tweaks package?
I'm aiming on at least giving updates every month, depending on the popularity of it of course. If you are an existing user, then simply flash the new ZIP updates without wiping Data or Cache. You will keep all your previous flashed stuff plus the new stuff in the update!

Hi guys. If you are new to this post, then what ever you do. DON'T FLASH THE V.1.0 OR V.1.1 OTHERWISE IT MAY BRICK YOUR DEVICE. These BETAS are only for extracting and using separate. As for the people who HAS already flashed them, I'm really sorry guys for bricking your device, and Thank you for telling me what can be fixed in order to avoid another Brick.

I'm on 570, yes. Deodexed, but I have another device that's also on 570 and odexed.

No source, no proof, IF you had even a tiny technical clue about modding, you could at least talk about it, but you're just a troll.

Well, another interesting tweak, Below are my comments regarding this new tweak:
First, your mod installation results in system UI force close like your N UI Mod (were you used the xposed model to show you had a false success), you should have at least properly developed this before adding it in your MOD. (Also, permission for systemui.apk is not set in your script, even if I do it manually it does not work)
Second, Your brighter flash light and led mod is a direct copy paste from @antkalaitzakis96 mod. You did not credit him nor asked for his permissions to use his mod.
Third, your minimalistic boot animation is taken from @motomotomotoG boot animations thread. Still, you did not credit him.
Forth, why you included a build.prop file in your flashable zip? if you want to add something to the file add only the required lines and not replacing the whole file on every phone.
Fifth, you included CPU Control app developed by @TheArc, again you did not give credits for the developer.
I think this is enough feedback from my side on your mod. Follow XDA rules and do not just copy others work...

2: I have removed the SystemUI apk, so now it's supposed to work on all Z2 Devices running any 6.0.1 firmware
BTW the build.prop is for the Multi-Window Unlock.

He Ka Mate! I have a big problem with the earphone, I have a very strong return on Call. The music is perfect, but calls are nightmarish. Z2 - firmware .151. what can it be? thanks in advance
