Washed out colors and details in front camera? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hello everyone,
Once I had a sony cellphone with the first 1.3 mp camera and the front camera of S7 Edge reminds me of that picture quality. Is anyone experiencing same thing? Any work around for it?

Hello. I see this is an older thread. Yes, I see that the camera is a little bit more washed out than compared to other phones. I've personally been looking for a solution since everyone says that it's the greatest shooter out there.
Look at this sky shot:

}
And the wall on this shot:
I recently found the option in the Pro mode that says: Vivid, which makes the colors a bit more natural (which is ironic, since the phone itself is washing out the colors! Lol).
Have you found a solution? I have my third and final S7E coming today - if this one doesn't work out, I'll try another device. The camera is the MOST important feature for me, especially when paying this kind of money.

Face detection working, in auto mode with auto flash (which was not going off)
Why does it appear so grainy and blurred should i be expecting better?

It would look better if you took the picture without the lights coming from the bowling pin area in the background. Similar to having the sun in back of your photo subject. Also, take some low light pictures with your old phone and compare the two. Should be a big difference.

Night Mode Camera

Hello all,
I've been looking around to buy this phone and most reviewers say that the low light camera is bad. However, one review did say that with night mode, it gets much better. Is this true? If so, why don't the reviewers use that mode? Am I missing something?
Thanks
bump
These were shot with night mode in my dimly lit studio (only a 60 watt lamp in the opposite corner is on) on a Moto X Pure Edition.
I think the camera on this phone is great compared to my previous Moto phones. Especially with well-lit shots. You can decide for yourself by the photos.

now that i have a real decent camera phone, it s time for me to test it vs a real camera
so with a friend we went for a test, and at the end, i think the mate 9 do a really good job!

Although impressive, there is still a clear advantage from the Sony Mirrorless camera. Not even close in my opinion. Camera phones, although getting better, is still far behind DSLRs or Mirrorless cameras. What camera phones are allowed to do today is provide like-DSLR quality pictures in small compact formats to image sharing sites like Instagram or Facebook. But its nice to see how much the camera on phones is improving every year.
being able to do longpause pictures at day time is simply amazing

Weird glow on photos, bad quality

Look at this :/ I've noticed this a few days ago. Any idea why the photos are so bad? I have the phone or over a year now and camera glass is definetely not clean but i think it was like that definetely for few months now. Phone sometimes was in a case and sometimes was not. 1st photo is from couple days ago and 2nd from october 2017

Looks like skin oil smeared on the lens. Even a small amount can make a hazy photo when the light shines on the lens.

Lens seem to be clear, no visible stuff under the glass. I must add that photos from regular camera and wide are both very bloomy
clean your lense with q-tips and try again it can be you touch your lenses or someone did

The Selfie Camera dark colour?

I recently switched from the 6T to 8Pro. The phone is amazing overall. It performs well in all aspects. Though i love the back camera, the front camera has been causing issues. I am usually on video call with my friends through the day during lockdown. The front camera though gives a more natural colour to my skin..but it seems to be darker as compared to the 6T.
Now my friends ask me to get back the old phone, which cannot be the case for me... obviously.
Is it only me???? Because i couldn't find any such threads...ANYWHERE!!

Any help would be great.
