Hey, no one said you have to like it

Talking only about MM systems.
DU is my prefered in this moment. Has good features, smoothness and battery.
AICP is the most complete but I'm not getting results in smoothness and battery as good as DU. Gets better with Lambda kernel.
crDroid is maybe the most smooth, has good battery but not so much features.
The best MM custom kernel actual is Lambda, specially the most recent builds (Beta).
Off course devs are working to get their ROMs better at each build, so it's always worth to try each ROM for yourself and see what you think about latest builds.

Yes, I mean Marshmallow.
I heard DU 6.0.1 is having some problems with Bluetooth. I said I heard because I never use Bluetooth, so I can't be sure about how it is.
Camera is also not so good as stock camera, but still is pretty good, I can use it as daily camera. Custom ROMs AOSP/CM have not so good camera, it's common, but I think it worth cause you gain with smoothness, features (Ambient Display, Easy flashlight, Themes, Navbar and Statusbar configs, and lots of other features). You can have more control over your system.

[Q] What is the best ROM for the Note 2?

I wonder what is the best ROM for my note 2, which maintains all the features of s-pen and you do not have third-party applications.
I want stable with good gaming performance and great battery life a ROM. Got some with pure android? Touchwiz interface does not want!
Don't we all.....
you want all s-pen features with pure android rom?
are you crazy man ?
is there nobody sane enough to tell you that s-pen features only work with touchwiz.
Ditto Note 3 3.1.1 has very good performance and almost all the features of the Note 3. Some issues, but almost very very minor.
My vote is for Fakejap one.

Great battery life
everything working without fcs
And... is 240dpi!
Is perfect

Posts like this aren't allowed on XDA, please take a look in the dev section and find the most appropriate one for you.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to know which Rom is best, but one question arouse:
Most Roms have the Note 3 features enclosed and tamirda and DrKetan have teamed up to create the Note 3 Mod Project, but it is hard to find any rom to test this project... besides, these two great developers have their own custom roms like Phoenix, which profit from the project and others, as you can read, do it the same way.....
It's really hard to consider all pros and cons and make a decision.

OK, no problem features s-pen only work on TouchWiz, tell me what is the best ROM for better performance and battery life.
I do not like the TouchWiz interface, with KitKat Launcher I can change the look of TouchWiz without losing performance?

List of All 5.1.1 Lollipop ROMs for International M7

I saw a pretty sweet thread by @MortalPizza that listed all of the Marshmallow ROMs for this phone. Since 6.0 on the HTC One isn't really my thing (stability issues, camera), I thought I'd make a list of some of the 5.1 and 5.1.1 ROMs you can find for this phone. I probably (certainly) made a lousy list and didn't put down a lot, so feel free to give some links and I'll add them. Thanks :silly:
Here goes!
-Google Play Edition+ (and stock GPE) http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-google-play-edition-lollipop-v1-00-t2963927
-CarbonROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-t3066364
-PixelDroid (DU based) http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-pixeldroid-v9-3-du-based-t3127370
-XenonHD http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/orig-development/rom-xenonhd-5-0-2-beta1-27-12-14-t2986038
-Exodus http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/orig-development/rom-team-exodus-m7-t3135826
-Dirty Unicorns http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/orig-development/rom-dirty-unicorns-v9-0-t3005256
-NOSP http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/orig-development/rom-t3118686
-CyanogenMod http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=m7
I found a lot of ROMs, many of which are likely abandoned. I did my best to try and get a lot, even though there aren't too many Tell me which one is the best!
Thank you VERY MUCH This is what I've been searching for months seriously thanks a lot! ? Whats the most stable and battery-friendly of all?

I haven't even used most of these  but in terms of stability and battery, GPE is the best. It's made by HTC, so it has the best device optimization. It also has Beats Audio built in, if that interests you. What I did notice is that GPE is not as responsive and fluid as CyanogenMod, DU, etc., so choose according to your preferences. I honestly prefer the smoothness of the other custom ROMs even though I am a bit of a battery life fanatic, but like I said, that's your choice . The change in battery life isn't a big one.

What is/are your favorite ROM(s) for the G4 Play?

So I've been meaning to try out some new ROMs lately and I'm wondering if any of yallz have any favorites or recommendations to throw my way. Currently I'm running the latest Resurrection Remix build for this beloved device and have been stuck on it for a while. It seems many of our ROMs have stopped in terms of development so I'm looking for direction in what to try. Thanks!

It's an efficient ROM on most platforms (typical for AOAP). I do not run it on my G4P as stock MM w/Xposed and a few kernel tweaks is a better match for my needs in this device.

I gave lineage a shot as one of my first ever custom OS's but it seemed to be lacking in customization. Last I remember there's no stable substratum support or anything of that sort and I love my colors haha. Maybe I'll give it another go though. Feel free to add anything to persuade me!

Yes I ran a deodexed MM stock rom for a while with xposed but I feel as if xposed gets messy (could just be me going crazy with the availabilities.) Definitely lots of fun tho. A couple hours ago I installed xposed over RR just to see what would happen and it didn't do me over like I thought. It worked well but xposed isn't the route I wanna take at this time.
Thanks for your answers!

Of the ROMs mentioned RR is probably the most customizable (w/o add ons) followed by AEX and Lineage. Each suits a different audience. Enjoy the hunt.
i have been on the rom that no one talks about much and i have been on it for months.i try to switch but keep falling back..its the VIPER ROM...its been very stable..good battery life...everything works..GPS is best among all roms..i dont know what they have done but i get a fix pretty fast...i am looking for an alternative but havent found anything that comes close in stablity and function.it may not be as customizable as RR or aospextended...but its very smooth ..even on stock kernel.give it a try if you may....https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889964283620760488

For me it's havoc, which have more customisations than other ROM's
But every ROM has its own specialities... So, try everything and have a good experience of all
I think pixis os is better than anyone because of less bugs, stable, and performance is better than any other rom,,you can play high end games on it without too much heating,,and battery performance is also good...
Coustamisation isnt up to the mark..but will add in future build...and its the fastest rom in updates..
So you can try it..

Yes, I can confirm that for example Pubg mobile works without any huge lags and battery life is good too. Just customization missing here, but it will be included in future builds I think. There's cool community and user friendly Development too I think, because OP is active and helps other users.

You are just creating a post like a PM in social media. [emoji43]
And for the above message
I would say
Those rom which occupies less storage space is the one which saves the battery.
And
I prefer custom rom for battery saving as they are made for saving, performance purposes.

This is a direct question that requests the personal experience of other users. Don't understand why it would be against the rules.
Anyway, I switched to Xiaomi.eu after Stock. Will report my own experience after some days.
Once I tried aosp I couldn't look back... MIUI just isn't as fast and stable, and since we don't have custom kernels on MIUI 11 Q I can't adjust the screen saturation (lavender screen is pretty washed out by default). In terms of battery life, Lineage OS with stock kernel has probably been the best for me.

Alright, forget what I said, due to many people praising it I tried MIUI 11.0.7.0 PFGEUXM, debloated of course.
With 3G network only and full Wi-Fi access, I'm getting battery life similar to my Z Play's. It maybe slightly better or worse, they seem the same to me but in any case, I'm very satisfied.
I used the Xiaomi debloater tool... Are there additional methods to de-bloat the phone a bit more?
