Looks like Sammobile are showing this new update for many countries.
Not sure what the update is for at the moment.
PDA G935FXXU1APC8
CSC G935FBTU1APB2

One thing it does is bring the security updates, up to date to March

All I can say is that it isn't the first time they have uploaded a firmware late.
You can see from the screenshot that the last time my device checked for an update was yesterday.

A tip in case you weren't aware.
A fellow XDA member has created this amazing little tool for checking and downloading Samsung firmwares directly from Samsung servers. It is a quick download and is free.
A side benefit is that no one has to visit that terrible website (Sammobile) and either suffer severely throttled downloads or pay those thieves an exorbitant fee to download at an average speed.
Hopefully they go out of business soon.

Ye their website is awful! I always download firmware much earlier than its need to to make sure I've got it instead of waiting for it to download.
Thanks for the tip.

Got this update yesterday & it installed with no issues, for those worried about battery life I always find that battery life settles a couple of days after any system update.

For the record :

i'd imagine by then we'll already have the official froyo ota update. Shouldn't be too long now.

I am chomping at the bit because I have no way to get FRF50 without rooting and I am unable swallow the pill of loosing my warranty on such a big purchase without recourse.

Froyo will be dropped OTA in the next few days.
Guaranteed.
http://www.androidos.in/2010/06/froyo-updated-nexus-one-arriving-soon-in-south-korea.html
The release date is June 21. In an hour where I am, it'll be the 18th already. We should be expecting the OTA anytime with this news.
Unless of course the "Froyo'd" up meant = FRF50.

Yeah, I'm on AT&T and just didn't want to root since I just got my phone. I'm hoping it will come out OTA soon...
I wish they'd get on with it just so the board isn't cluttered with any more squinnying about why it's not out yet
I would need to root my phone because I have the North American 3G varient (EPE54B) that the FRF50 Test Build was not direclty written for.

I can't wait to start whining about my hoped for feature/bug fix not making it.
Seriously though, I'm super eager for an official Froyo as I'm convinced the FRF50 update caused serious issues with using mobile data (constant errors and slow speed when using data and not on wifi).
No OTA for people on Cyanogen though /:
But he'll put a ROM out in no time once its out.

That is actually precisely what they mean, and is why they only have 4k for launch. They're running the pre-release Froyo on them.
I wouldn't expect to see Froyo for another couple weeks people. Don't hold your breath.
Engadget says 4,000 units will be available for sale in South Korea on June 21st.
I'd expect OTA sometime around that week.
It's froyo'd up.

Samsung Says they will have more Info on the T-Mobile OTA Next week.

Samsung Just Said it on their Facebook Page
I bet by the end of oct at the latest.
they said it on twitter about an hour ago, according to the tweet we will recieve an update on this situation as early as next week

I'm going to agree. We'll just hear the same damn thing we've been hearing... an update is coming "Soon". That's all it ever is. T-Mobile told me via Twitter yesterday that they are working on it and want to make it "perfect"...
Man! I hope they are working on something better then "soon".
The dev, community here has fixed all my problems for me except the modem... if you are comfortable flashing roms and mods, it takes the wait and insessant delays edge off. They are so sloooow,... with there flagship device? Come on.

if the rumors of gingerbread being released in october is infact true, then i guess the vibrant can expect gingerbread sometime in march?
Im happy with JI5 for now
But all this delay I'm starting to think we might get surprised with a 2.2 update sooner than thought
But then again this is my first Samsung phone and all the talk about their history....IDK
Negative attitudes don't get you anywhere. Think positive its a good sign that they are a least going to tell us something.

And I am sure many of you will ***** and complain about a lack of communication by Samsung if they keep hush.
I am having so much fun modifying my rooted phone and 2.1 that I don't even notice how long it's taking to get any OTAs or 2.2 for that matter.
I think having owned a G1 taught me a lot of patience. The Vibrant is a great phone, yes it may have it's bugs but it certainly can be an everyday smartphone even without the updates.
Take your time Samsung/T-mobile, as long as we have devs and hackers that work hard to help out the community I will be patient.
in next two weeks....bla bla bla... they just going to say that they are working on something, and soon "soon" we will see something. After everybody smashing Tmobile and samsung, they had to reponse some how. I guess only time will tell.

You people aren't going to be happy if they release it and its not ready. I would wait as long as it takes to get it and have no issues or less of them. You know if they release it before its good to go and you have some issues you will come back and complain. I would love to have it now just like everyone.

No,i will be in Pune on 17th,then to Mumbai with 1 of my friend.
Both of us are going for SGS 2,as per now the dealer has confirmed 1.2Ghz+Super Amoled Plus version. But the final price he is saying might go to Rs 32,000 also but then as two of us are going for it,we are quite confident of the deal for Rs 30,000
I would appreciate it if you would post some pics after the purchase. Ill take a trip down to Mumbai as well.
Well don't get your hopes up, because lots of people get fooled by phone resellers... I'm not saying you won't get your phone by Monday, but don't be too disappointed when you don't, because you probably won't

my thoughts exactly. a big authorized retailer would not risk the reputation and the relationship with Samsung by selling a phone [under the table?] prior to the official release date. But I have never been to India, may be it is standard practice there

Well, about that video. Damn that screen is nice!! I have been waiting for a vid to really show off the screen, this does it. Those blacks, omg!
Was it just me or was the Quadrant score in that video less then the one in the image posted a couple of days ago. It might be due to the processor speed or something else.
They might have the 1Ghz version.
I was thinking the same, I believe the score was 2500 vs the posted image of 3000.

I think so. I signed up that night of the day all the sites first reported about this uber secret "project" and never received any message or contact of any kind about it. Kudos to Motorola for having this coincide with them moving their feedback/support forums to a new site, further confusing users. SMH...
Anyone else think Motorola only decided to release this update today because they were feeling some pressure after ASUS not only announced today as the day thy were updating their Transformer Prime but made good on their word? In other words, I think they Motorola would have kept us on ice (no pun intended) if it weren't for ASUS' updates today.
