Since the update to lollipop, I am unable to find any option to sort contacts by their FIRST or LAST name...
Is this a bug in the new update?
is there anyone else who is facing similar issues?
settings & information about my phone:
A6000
stock Lollipop ROM
stock contacts application
contacts are stored in Google account
display contacts saved in Google account only

l write a number on my defy with motoblur ....
l install cyano...now l need that numeber but there isent in my contats list.
How can l fint that number?
if l downgrade to motoblur can l find that number???.

You should have taken backup to sdcard or Google contacts sync. I'm afraid that you wouldn't get that number back after downgrade. Do you have the nandroid backup of blur ROM after you entered the number and before installing cm7, if so then restore your ROM and can retrieve your number.

Hey all. I updated my Yureka to 5.1.1 via OTA. Its decent update. However, I miss the old Google dialer & would prefer it over the current Truecaller one [or whatever they call it]. I've seen that there are ways to do this on OnePlus One. Any way to do it on Yureka?

I am using the newest LineAge OS Nightly (26.10.17) for my Oneplus 2, but since the last update, WhatsApp isn't showing me new messages when the App isn't opened. So when I open the App, all messages are shown. Maybe someone knows how to fix this.
I'm really having hard time accepting this Google Contacts app that comes into Nougat... but I really enjoy the Contacts app that is in B896 (Marshmallow - EMUI 4.1) for Huawei P8Lite. I tried to back-up the app and install it, but for some reason it didn't work (said the app seems corrupted, but I doubt - rather I did something wrong or not compatible).
So, if it is possible to use the same Contacts app, I would very much like to use it. Also, if anyone can provide the APK file, please do so for me.

I have this smartphone from my father and after i reset it hard it says that i have to synchrone with an Google account that has synchroned before , but i have no chance to find my fathers old Google Account.
Which options did i have ?
Maybe go over to "lineage"?
But i dont want lineage instead of a good looking touchwiz
