Daily Driver Rom for Osprey [Discussion] - Moto G 2015 General

This thread is dedicated to discussion about roms people are using as daily driver on Moto G 2015.
The posts need to answer this question: WHICH ROM YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING AS A DAILY DRIVER ON YOUR MOTO G 2015 AND WHY?
It would also be good to insert in your post the link to that rom.
Let discussions start!

The one they have now does not have mobile data working.

Xenon HD Optimus kernel smooth quick layers brilliant had it on Nexus 7 2012 was great for that too battery life is good as well get a full day if am not heavy on my xt1541

I prefer the AICP-Rom !!!
Its officially supported, continuously updated (OTA), its light, stabel, smooth, many customizations........:good:

Stock Marshmallow, unrooted. Actually, this is the first one of five Android phones and two Android tablets I've owned that I haven't felt the need to root. Almost pure Google experience, smooth, lag free, quick and responsive. I may eventually root just to remove ads and use a few xposed modules.

Using it too, very smooth and reliable

So far Broken OS is running fine. Only problem I had was with the stock browser crashing. Installed Firefox and everything is fine now.

I m using Xenon hd as a daily driver. It's smooth and fast. So far haven't encountered anyy bugs. :good:

Cyanogenmod - last stable version for I9300

For some time I preffered stock ROMs because it was hard to find what is the latest STABLE CyanogenMod ROM for I9300 cause on get.cm is so many version CM.
Please, can anybody help me with this information?
Many thanks!
Officially it will never be stable because we have a lack of Exynos sources. The nightlies however are extremely stable, just download the latest one (top of the list) and see how that works. Update when you want.

I haven't tested that capacity but I don't see why not, as long as it's formatted using fat 32 and not exfat.

I download las version CM ann Gapps. I need download some kernel or not? But i install CM and Gapss and no more?
It wont work without a kernel so obviously it comes with one. Please read "understanding the basics before rooting". It is in "sticky roll-up thread"

Cheers mate, I'm about to reflash PA as i haven't tried it since early Jan builds, Was on Dirty Unicorn and is one of my favourite roms thus far but had issues with proximity on d802 (Kept unlocking in my pocket), will see how it goes on PA.

And the only thing different in this rom that is obvious to me that would cause conflict is it only has Launcher3 where as on the other rooms i always use google.

[Q] Any 4.4 based ROMS available?

It's been a while since I checked out ROMs for the G2. I remember most, if not all, ROMs were kit kat versions based on the JB source and different radios were required to correct some issues.
With 4.4 source being out for a while now, are there any 4.4 based ROMs for the G2 yet? If so, what are some?

don't know not a fan of aosp roms on my g2 mainly because of the features available on stock that aren't on aosp
main reason you don't see sokp around the main thread is because they decided to post device specific threads and reason you may have not heard of it is because they lack ls980 support but you just want to look at rom here you go:
d800 sokp
just by looking at features section you can see they offer tons of options

Yeah, SOKP is the sonic open Kang project. Their ROM is literally PACKED with features. It's a little buggy at times. I think last time I used it my screen would become unresponsive and I'd have to reboot. May have been a modem issue though, not sure. It's still based on 4.2 source instead of 4.4. Just hacked to run kit Kat.

Do you like to venture to the dark side, dangerous and shaky world of custom ROM?
Come.....to the testing ground of CM 13, a custom ROM made using the latest mythical Android M.... Don't forget to make backup of your existing system using TWRP/CWM Backup feature, just in case you wish to go back the land of Stock or Touchwiz....
See you on the dark side.....

CM 13 Discussion in general or CM 13 in original development. I strongly suggest, you read and take careful steps before trying anything. Most important, always make backup of your current system using TWRP backup feature before installing.
READING IS SUGGESTED BUT BACKUP IS MANDATORY.

Wipe Dalvik Cache in TWRP, then flash the Kernel.
After flashing, Wipe Dalvik Cache again.
Then ReBoot to System.
And use your phone as usual for min. 2days.
