Where on the VZW S7 can we view RAM used and free. O - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

On the S6 on lollipop, "Running applications" in the Applications section of settings would show it. VZW has removed Smart Manager, so where can we see free ram. I can download an app, but I'd rather stick with what should be on this phone somewhere.
thx

Minor Tweak: Processes that are safe to Kill..

Can you guys list processes than can be safely killed if you are not using specific apps associated with that service. eg:
Daily Briefing service: "Daily Briefing"
Mobile tracker settings: "Mobile Tracker"
etc, ive killed those two but would like to know if i can kill more as it gives you decent amount of ram available

For those that can't use *#*#34636#*#* due to kitkat

I could use *#*#4636#*#* to get to the hidden phone settings on 4.1.2 but this is not available with kitkat 442. So, I found an app on the Playstore , free, that accesses that same info. It is "Secret Phone Settings". There are a bunch there but choose the one that shows the three gears by BH_Lin

Android Device Manager not working

I just upgraded to the S4 triband. I was trying to activate the android device manager but when I go to the android device manager web page it does not locate my phone. The options such as "rename this device" and "locate device" are grayed out as well as the settings button in the top right corner.
It does show my phone (Galaxy S4) as I renamed it in the play store settings and "show in menu's" box is checked but on the device manager web page it only shows that the phone was "last online 7/9/14" (today's date).
I have tried factory resetting my phone, making sure that all of the GPS and location options in the phone are on and that "remotely locate this device" and "allow remote lock and erase are also checked in the google setting app.
Additionally I have also done a lot of google searches regarding this issue and followed several tutorials to clear data in the google play services, google play store and google services framework but all to no avail, I still cannot locate my phone or do anything on the android device manager web page.
Attached is a screen shot of what the web page looks like. Funny thing is I tried my old S3 and the Wife S3 and both gave me the same results.
Anyone else have this problem or have a fix for it?

Manage Device Administrators (Enable Android Device Manager)

Manage Device AdministratorsOn most Android devices, you assume Android Device manager will work without having to set it up. With the Honor 8's device administration security features, one more step is required.
Device Administrators
An app with Device Administrator activated with be able to perform actions like:
Erase all data
Change the screen-unlock password
Set password rules
Monitor screen-unlock attempts
Lock the screen
If you've ever tried an app that needs to perform one of these actions, and it's not working properly, it's probably because you do not have that app activated in your device administration settings.
Activate Device Administration Permissions for Apps
To access the device administrator menu, go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Security > Device Administrators
One app that you'll find is not activated is Android Device Manager. If you want to use all of the features like remote locking your device or wiping your data, you'll need to activate this app. This is an important security app and is a life saver if your phone ever gets stolen. So make sure you activate it.
I can't activate any device adminstrator in Settings > Security > Device Administrators. When I hit “activate”,It just move back to the list screen and nothing happens, every checkbox remain unchecked.
I think this is due to the rom customization, which rooted the device initially.
Is there any way to activate an app as device administrator other than click "activate" within settings, e.g. by editing some files?
thanks!

you have to go to battery settings and choose the app you want to not close after the screen goes off, then you can activate it and will stay active

I've been googling for 2 hours but nothing actually works on me.

Ok to make it short and clear, after reading other posts I realize that most tab s3 users are not familiar with "samsung good lock".
Good lock is a bunch of modules to add useful options to samsung devices but unfortunately they're only available in some regions
you can use a free app called "fine lock" from play store to download and manage this modules:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=yuh.yuh.finelock
just use the provided links in here to download and install the last apks and then run them from fine lock.
disclaimer: I've nothing to do with this app. If you find it useful, Thank the developer or pay for pro version.
the modules I use now are "Multistar" and "task changer" to bring back popup view action, drag and drop for split screen, etc...
feel free to check others yourself.

Great:good:
I only knew "One hand operation" form the Play store.
"Task changer" and "Multistar" are very much needed for Pie.
