How can I root my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-G360F? - Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Questions & Answers

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G360F):
Android 5.0.2
Baseband: G360FXXU1BOH1

I want to root it so I can install Titanium Backup and some other apps that need root, Xposed Framework and Gravity Box.
Where can I find an easy tutorial?

You can use Kingroot app

Thanks. Right now I don't have the smartphone, but will do it using Kingroot and see if it roots it successfully.

Kingroot is a trojan ..rubbish , only thing you need to do is flash TWRP and your done
type in Google Twrp for G360F follow link to twrp.me and grab twrp-3.1.0-0-coreprimelte.tar flash in Odin boot into recovery done.

Only NCG firmware can be rooted ( downgrade via Odin). Run towelroot, install SuperSU (update its binaries and then reboot your phone), install busybox, then install safestrap. After all that you can use Odin to get to the firmware you want to run and keep root.
Thanks for the response where do i get those files for downgrade thanks

See down in the notes #4 for unrooted phones.
Root with towelroot, install SuperSU from play store, update the binaries (normal method), reboot phone, download busybox from play store and install. Then you can install safestrap.
i download everything but when i connect my s5 to my pc and open odin it dosnt say that is added odin is not reading my device

You can take a look this video for avoid problems and to root it perfectly.
* The last TWRP update for your device is this ONE. Replace this to the video one.
but I can do it with CF-AutoRoot?
As far as I know CF Auto root works. But that's not how I recommend to root. Flash a custom recovery, TWRP for example, then flash the SuperSU zip from there, done. Google about both stuffs.
Can I install the recovery even without the root?

My suggestion is never root your device with apps like kingroot, kingoroot, iroot, farmaroot, etc.
The best way to root a device is by flashing superSu or superuser.

how to hide root on my note 3

Hello
Quick info
I have Samsung Note 3 n9005 ,stock rom 5.0 , rooted with chainfire root , twrp recovery installed. I really need to hide my root from banking apps. Or at least be able to install xposed on my rom so I can use rootcloack apparentlty xposed isn't compatible with Samsung phone using Android 5.0
Any help?
delete wrong answer
Google.
apparentlty xposed isn't compatible with Samsung phone using Android 5.0
Have you asked on the xposed forum ??
I'm also looking for a way to hide my root from specific application.
I already "googled" it as Dejan Sathanas suggest, and solutions like temporary disable root are not good for me.
Thanks,
Look for app Magisk for hide root

Search and you will find working Xposed. I had used Arter's Xposed version (number I forgot).
I used Xposed with 5.0 AryaMod (stock based ROM) for more than 1.5years.
And then install Rootcloak and things should be fine.

I tried this once. Magisk then systemless xposed, it only got me in boot loop. Have you tried it yourself?

I have seen this, but odin is dangerous. If you can tell me doing step 4 only then installing superuser and towelroot will do the job ?
Also please tell me what is this file for ?
Step 4. Use Odin 3.12 and load the COMBINATION_VZW_FA44_G900VVRU2APA1_VZW2APA1_257265 6_REV00_user_mid_noship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 in the AP Slot

Odin is safe lol it can help you if your ever get into hot water. Also I believe that's the initial file to initial safestrap & no, you're going to have to go through all of that if you want root. It's annoying but worth it to get rid of those pesky bloatware apps.
In step 2 it says: "and the TouchWiz ROM you want to install. " Where can I get one? It does not matter which, as I intend to use Nova Launcher.
EDIT: Nevermind, that was only for the 11 version.
