Snapchat on Android is just horrible, they don't actually tap into the proper camera API to record the video, instead they do some strange screen shot ( record ) method which makes it laggy and also horrible quality

I agree with the soundcloud issue! Also when I tap on a notification of whatsapp it sometimes opens with non-capitalised keyboard, and when I try to type whatsapp crashes untill you manually close it in the recent apps panel

The newer soundcloud versions are very poorly optimised. I've decided to keep an older version installed (before the design overhaul update) which is very smooth and consistent.

Netflix stuttering/lagging video

Hi,
Is anyone else having these problems with netflix on their G2?
I did search google and this forum for problems like mine. I read a lot about out of sync audio/video. Slow user interface, bad image quality, etc.
All this is fine here. Audio plays well and keeps playing. All remains in sync. but the video keeps lagging in about every stream. It's not like it needs to buffer again, it's just annoying lag.
I had contact with netflix. They told me it was probably my Phone running background apps i wouldn't be able to stop, and i should contact LG. Well, if that would be true, my HTC One X shouldn't be able to play everything smoothly..
I am beginning to suspect it's something with the Phone and would like your comments on this.
Thanks!

no problems on my vs980
Little update;
I'm on Android 4.2.2.
I deleted the Original Netflix app and downloaded the "netflix black rotation v2.1.2 apk" from xda.
With this app, the quality is not as good as with the Original app, but no stutter/lag!
Any ideas?
Still using the old app. Works fine. Quality on the new app is better but still no lag or stutter with this one. Read something about the new app only working with newer android versions. Don't know if this is true but if anyone is having the same stutter/lag issues, try the older netflix app!
yes the real problem is when Netflix use best quality video stream, limiting the quality is not a real fix.

Video Glitches

I am having some trouble with videos after the recent BlackBerry camera update. Everything time I take a video, it records and saves fine but when I try to play the video back, using any different video player it just looks like a green jumbled mess. It does this on the regular gallery, QuickPic and even Instagram. See the screenshot below.

Are you using MX Player to play videos by any chance?
I am not. And I discovered that it also does it on other people's instragram videos and snapchat stories so it must be a playback or codec issues

I have some music videos and I use MX Player to play them. In decoder settings of that app, there was HW+ option which I would enable on every phone that I had, but on Priv I had to select HW instead because videos came out green and distorted.

I'll see what happens when I use it. I hope this stuff will be fixed in an update.
Edit: I'm an idiot and I had AwesomePlayer enabled in developer settings. Using NuPlayer fixed it.

Any video player plays slo-mo on SM-T580

Just got my SM-T580, rooted it and froze some bloatware. Then I couldn't find the regular videoplayer app. I can see it in Titanium, it hasn't been frozen, but not in the drawer. Read that it is sort of integrated with Google's Play Movie & TV so defrosted that, but still no video app.
Never mind, thought I, plenty of other apps in Play. But why does every app play my imported and automatically converted video's in some sort of slow motion? Sound seems OK, but picture goes at half speed. Those videos (imported-converted) played OK on my SM-T320.
Any suggestions would be appreciated on both issues (where is video app and why slo-mo).

Problem with update android 7.0 Nougat

Since the update to Android, I present playback problems, I can't play videos from Youtube, Facebook and Instagram (those I've seen) also in some games do not play videos, doesn't hear voice notes from Facebook Messenger and affect Spotify too that not playing the songs
Only resolved rebooting but hours return and I has already become very very annoying, I have no idea which could be.
Browser plays normally, it plays everything
If someone helps me or have an idea that could be, thank you
PD: Sorry for my english

Samsung galaxy s10+ volume problem

Hello guys, i have problem on my s10+. My apps (for example YouTube) volume becomes super low and very bad quality while I am talking on Skype. And it is same for every app using voice calls like discord, WhatsApp etc. And "low sound" problem also applies to every app like gallery, video players, audio players, games... I can get normal sound on YouTube video if I start video then pause it, make Skype call, resume to video and unpause it, but it works only on video played before call. If I go to other while talking on Skype volume problems starts. Some one can help me? Any ideas? (sorry for my English)
