Hi all. I bring you a tutorial on how to enable the gyroscope in our Honor 5x them will come very well for those using cardboards and these functions if you do not have gyroscope not work.
To do this, we must have unlocked the bootloader and root access
If we fulfill these steps, we just need to download this file https://mega.nz/#!pEEGFLbJ!scUWYUCZ_uGM7TyaaJPu7O8YfVgnk4DyCT7jSWCW35E
Then paste it into /system/etc/permissions, give permission rw-r--r-- (644) and reboot.

No have a gyroscope hardware, but we can enable virtual gyroscope from accelerometer

My old phone had NFC, but it was disabled in the kernel. Do you think it could be the same scenario with our device? The snapdragon 616 supports NFC.

No clue if it works on p8. And photosphere is trying to work but when you center the dot in the target it won't register. So no go. What's weird is that up and down in either orientation works well. But side to side does not. This is true in YouTube 360 videos as well.

followed your thread to enable the gyroscope on the honor 5x. Unfortunately the accelerometer is too sensitive to use with a vr headset. It works but the image trembles so much that no pleasure can be taken from the vr experience. Thank you anyway for your guide.

Upon using the app "AAA VR Cinema Cardboard 3D SBS" for viewing a video, I found the setting "pure gyroscope" option solves the jittery when watching video. I think the problem lies in Accelerometer and Gyroscope running at the same time, currently trying to disable Accelerometer to check if what i say is true.

No real differences noticed yet. The Huawei keyboard seems to be back though (it went missing when i installed B324), and I have a new app, WPS Office. Probably more under the hood changes, like stability, but will have to check out the phone for a couple of days to see if there is any change.

It is for Africa. The download is on the Huawei South Africa downloads webpage.
every thing is good in this version .. i was in B300 and i have no problem with it but it kind feel like half backed version ,, it have options but not working like knock knock to screen shot , double tape to wake up and the finger print gesture ,, these function was not working as it should . . SOOO,, I wanted to try the new version .. at as i expect they removed all the function that not working as it should .. and i think there are some stability fixes . it feel smother ,,
it benchmark is improved,, my unit is getting 47320 in AnTuTu BenchMark ,, in B300 i was 46530 .

I got Cust Error at 80 something percent. Rebooted and I'm on B326. Is this normal?

Did a search. Didnt find anything of use.
After waiting for 3 months for a replacement Moto X Pure, I get this dud tonight. Its f'ing useless.
I dont know what to do with it. I dont want to start the process over with Moto because Im tired of using a dumb phone. I dont want to wait months and deal with their horrid support for said time again either. I am seriously at a loss.

My experience with customer service has been very nice. I sent mine on December 2nd and I just waiting to receive that one back on the 24th. They can't fix the problem then they just replaced mine. They sent me a code to build my own, and then took only 3 days after i builded to show in process of delivery. I'm very happy with their customer service.

Thanks, thats helpful. I tried getting the 6.0 package from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/android-6-0-update-rolling-t3261427) and it will not flash on a locked bootloader. Fails at verifying step.
Is there a stock 5.1.1 image floating around somewhere thats signed so that it can be flashed on a stock BL?
So, Ive managed to try downloading a couple of ROMs with no success. And I cant connect to ADB. Suggestions?

Don't use adb - use fastboot. You might need to unlock the bootloader.
Have you tried RSD lite with the stock lollipop return to stock file?
Manually boot into the bootloader. Then

The cust is a second system of Huawei, you can locste it in the build number with the digits Cxxx for example, european cust is C432

What is your vendor country info? You can check it in engineer mode, to enter it, you mark *#*#2846579#*#* in the dialer, enter in option 3 and later in option 4 and see an a screenshot

I have been using ACR for years, with VOICE_CALL, on unrooted devices. It used to work on my S7 Edge, but since the last update of my phone (G935FXXU1DQC2), it no longer accepts VOICE_CALL only MIC, which is not convenient at all.

What is the difference between Pixel Experience and Pixel Experience Plus? I am on their website and there is no explanation, or at least i can't see one.

Just a few extra features, nothing much. I am on the Plus version, it is good daily rom.

I'm not seeing anything new... same bugs still here, some being so easy to fix that it seems obvious Xiaomi is not interested in fixing them.
A2 is my second Xiaomi phone (after A1) and the last one...
Pay peanuts, get the monkeys.... verified once more with Xiaomi. I'll throw in some more euros for my next phone and hopefully will get a phone with the basics right.
I'm even considering going away from Android One, since lots of non-One phones got Android 10 before Mi A2...
Xiaomi, you had your chance, you failed (twice), bye bye....

April and May together. In my case (Portugal) due only May update it was just 8.38MB
