Samsung has released some source code for the beastie G900H, now as a rookie dev i donno if that is enough for compiling a working cm11 from source.

yes buddy secret ! LOL but i think we will get CM sometime soon man hopefully i am not the one working on it though but lets hope it gets done by pros eventually so we have a good stable CM working CM on our huge screen will be so sweet man look forward to it.

I'm not a dev, just like you, yep @nepalbiraj has not given any feedback on ROM development, may be it is in development or not, if he give feedback everyone pressurise him asking ETA or pressurise him asking to develop one, this thing recently happened with @jackeagle,who currently stopped CM Development for E5!!
Be patient mate, Also Nowadays you can do wonders with Stock ROM, At First we don't have Recovery, but we do have one with grace of @nepalbiraj, May be someone might come one day!!! Cheers!! [emoji4]

You are right the specs of the xiaomi redmi 2 and galaxy E7 matches very much So maybe someone would port it.
I am no porter Always wondered how guys in other thread ported many roms. But maybe Porting would be easier from samsung device. Just a wild guess here. I have seen many phones with same chipset as ours. Like redmi2, Grand prime,Galaxy J5 and A5 too.

Yeah @DowneyHere you are right there are many wonders that can be done on a stckrom. @amaan_iguy I suggest you to see few guides on creating a stockbased rom Its easy with superrkitchen Just A suggestion here. You can try to build a stockbased and I will try to do a custom kernel no promises

I need the kernel source of the phone. It is required for making TWRP or ROMS.
here samsung opensourcecentreis the link download the top one and upload it to any file sharing sites. But not mega. I hate it.

2- Is it a software , hardware or development problem that the N900 still cant reach the N9005 development level on porting roms

Generally the more widely available models are the ones that Devs work on .

thank you again , but i have a last question in the thread u sent i read that the Galaxy Tab S ( which contain 5420 Soc too recieved the MM as shown in the link )

It sounds nasty but it was a guy's job to start porting note 4[4.4.4], s6 edge[5.0.1], note 5[5.1.1], s7 edge[6.0.1] and now note 7[6.0.1] firmwares for n9005. So thanks to him.
And because there are many more talented developers here we have more choices in mods and base. Note 3 n9005 definitely the best in development. I went to note 4 & 5. The development isn't as great as note 3.
So it isn't the hardware. As my answer earlier, it depends to the developer who owns the device.

I wouldn't put too much hopes into that right now since it's only a proof-of-basically-doable bei Geiti94 as far as I know.
Don't get me wrong: I wish myself for a successful ported Nougat ROM but until there's a flashable ROM I wouldn't put my hopes too high. It would be far more better in case it fails at some point to make a daily-useable ROM so that you wouldn't be too sad. But of course I hope that Geiti94 is able to do it.

You do know that it's just a proof-of-concept, that the tab S2 ROM CAN be booted on our Note 4, right? It's not an actual flashable ROM for us common users and that's the point I meant with my last comment. No offend to you or anyone else, just my point of view.
