When i do a call via WhatsApp or Messenger i can't hear anything and the person hear my voice with much noise, but in call via sim it's all normal. How to fix this?

ok well if you have tried SKYpe IM+ from shape services, you know that it connects to skype via data, it routes the call via data, then sends an incoming call and an outgoing call to the server. So you get an incoming call, then the server sends an outgoing call to the # specified.. This way if you have unlimited incoming minutes (works great) and you get full voice quality of a normal call without using any minutes... How could i use this system, but not use the Skype IM+ crappy interface. Like make a dialer skin, and set it to a hotkey so when i dial out via that dialer it does the skype style... ??? anyone? ( i dont mind actualyl getting the SKype IM+ program, or getting the normal skype program?? but any idea.??

yeah similar, but i knw that Shape Services does this, and you get your call via normal cell towers w/ incoming calls (unlimted on my plan.) It routes the call via skype voip but the call actually comes in via incoming minutes (unlimited for me), and then the voip serv dials the other line. This way i get full voice quality not the echoing or garbled talk of voip... Unless that is about to change. I use skype and that is the best price for your penny.. anyway thoughts?
Actually has anybody done the math to see if it is worth using im+ for skype?
1) You need to pay for data service to access skype
2) You need skype out credit to make the call
3) You loses air time when im+ calls back
I wonder if it is cheaper to just get a long distance plan and call direct.
i have unlimited data and unlimited incoming plan... So i get full voice quality.. ( i also have skype pro for $2 a month which i only call to North America Anyway... So i actually dont use any minutes, and i get unlimited calls.
Google's GrandCentral operates in a similar way, however, it is not client based.

I cant hear incoming or outgoin calls ...the only way i can is speakerphone or through the headphones...ive run different roms n problem still exsists....can any1 helppp...

Gizmo5/GV/Sipdroid calls were working fine yesterday over both wifi and 3g but today for some reason whenever I make an outbound call through my N1 it dials but I hear nothing and sipdroid hangs up after 22 seconds =(
Inbound calls are fine and when I initiate calls to phone #'s through Google Voice on my computer it comes through on my N1 where I can pick up fine and I can hear it. Complete opposite though when making outbound calls - no sound/hangup at 22 seconds.
Has anyone else experienced this as well? I searched through previous threads and on regular google searches but found nothing.

I downloaded Nimbuzz today to use it for making calls via Skype, but I've got a major problem: While I can hear the other party perfectly, they only hear strange screaching noises coming from me...
I also tried using the skype echo123 service...same problem. I can hear perfectly but my recorded voice is completely distorted...sounds kinda like an old 56k modem dialing...
I tried it via 3G and WIFI its always the same.
Do you have any Ideas whats wrong and how it can be fixed?
Phone is a debranded and rooted X10i running 026 firmware.

I haven't had a problem with skype-to-skype calls yet... Maybe try uninstalling the apk, and reinstalling it?
when I use, I have a delay, like I say something and person listen for like a sec or 2 and then speak and I have to wait to get the reply. I am on wifi though

I reflashed yesterday, the quality of the recording to the echo service improved slightly, but now nobody can hear a thing from me when making "regular" skype calls...
Looks like I'll just have to wait for 2.1 and the official skype client then...
Hmmm. I just tried a 3G call via Nimbuzz to the echo123 account and it worked perfectly.
Are you using an external mic or the phone's mic?
I used the internal mic... but the bigger problem is that I can't hear the other side...except when calling the echo... they can hear me and the echo recording sounds like calling Mars but at least its understandable...

New Huawei P10+. Callers say they hear themselves echo when they call me. This only seems to happen when we use a VoIP application. Any suggestions?
