Bricked LG G2, download mode goes on, but not working - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I'm new here, I've been modding my lg a few times, always when bricked, kdz or tot files were saving me.
But now I've got real problem.
I was changing ROM from Cyanogen 13 to Cloudy 3.3. I thought I just need to flash rom via recovery (2.8.7.3 bump blastagator). Flashed fine, without any troubles, but when it came to reboot, phone just got stuck on LGs logo.
I knew i f*ed up.
Recovery isn't working, but Download Mode is turning on normally, at least it seems to.
So i tried to flash KDZ, but LG Flash Tool immedently shuts down giving "lg user...." error (don't remember what exacly it was saying).
Then i tried via tot files. But after installing drivers from tutorials, device isn't showed as "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port", but as few positions like MTP device or usb serial port(but not in Com ports) and all are marked as devices without drivers. Flash tool for tot also didn't worked here, because it did't found device.
What can i do now? Please help me.
[Edit]
So now, using different drivers somehow Jelly Bean installed by tot method (device didn't appeared as tutorial said, but it worked) phone is booting normally, but i can't again install lollipop with kdz files.
I was trying 3 different drivers, every giving instant error of flash tool.
What can I do now?
[EDIT2] LGUSERCSTool.exe is crashing. How can I install lollipop now?
Are there tot files for lollipop?

[Q] Soft bricked D801 unrecognized

Hey everyone I'm quite new to android, and I'm currently stuck in Download Mode after trying and failing to install Twrp
I was previously Rooted, tried to install Twrp via Autorec, however when I ran the app it soft-bricked my phone and put me into Fastboot mode.
I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2476972 method, and got back to Download Mode.
I am currently in the middle of returning to stock through http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2432476 using the .TOT method.
I'm fairly close to repairing it but my only issue is that I cannot get my computer to recognize my phone. Neither in Device management nor adb devices anymore.
Therefore I cannot change the port to COM 41 to flash the .TOT file.
I constantly tried installing drivers for the phone both 3.10 and 3.08 but still no recognition can anybody help?
Some more info about the phone:
it's the D801 variant but its on Wind (Canada) not T-mobile
it was previously Rooted
it did not have any recovery software installed
no roms had been flashed previously.

Try to restore your phone using the official LGMobile Support Tool. Just switch on normally the phone, plug it to your PC and wait for your kdz to be downloaded. Once it done, it should install the kdz by itself. Then factory reset your phone (if needed) as it should ask you some pin/password.
Hope it'll help you as it did for me!

D805 Unbricking

I have a 32 GB D805 from a friend which is bricked. It bootloops, cannot get into Recovery, can get into Download mode but it does not get everything recognized (CDC Serial gets stuck in Installing software even after installing the drivers). When in Download mode, it shows "USER B6" and "ROOTED" messages. I have no idea whatsoever what ROM it had before, but it was not the stock one.
I have already tried following THIS guide, the KDZ method does not work, and the TOT file for a D805 is non-existant. Just as a test, i tried THIS guide and it did boot, it even detected a ton of drives under W7. However, the files for flashing refer mostly to the D800 or D802. Would these work for a D805?

[SOLVED] [Q] [HELP] Stuck in Download MODE

My LG G2 d802 is stuck in the download mode and has no recovery. It happened when i flashed Miui 6 by gtbluesky after full wipe of data and system. Previously it was on cloudy 3.2 . After flashing the miui it wont boot and is in a bootloop on mi bootscreen. I tried but cannot boot into recovery seems like it doesnt have a recovery.
However, I can boot into download mode but it is not recognised in ADB nor Lg flash tool. I tried flashing kdz with the lg flash tool but it wont detect the device. I tried installing various drivers to the pc and also tried two different pc with windows 7. However, adb wont detect the device.
Regarding the drivers, the windows installs all the drivers but fails to install the LGE Androidnet usb modem drivers. If i manually try to install it from the lg drivers, it would keep installing and returns an error of timeout period expired.
So, i am stuck in the download mode with a bricked device.
If Someone could help me with this problem, i'll be much obliged. Thanks
SOLVED
[SOLVED] I downloaded the .tot file for my phone and extracted .dll from one of the .kdz & flashed it using the lg flash tool . It flashed good and now my g2 is up and running. :good:

[Alternate solution] Lg g2 vs980 recogniced as model L01F

Yesterday I installed this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/lollipop-grola-rom-5-0-1-t3028569
And after it "finished" the phone got stuck in a fastboot screen, and the usb was not working, neither the recovery nor the bootloader.
So I really screwed it up, the I followed a tutorial in youtube to fix corrupted qhsubs , It was awfully hard to make my device to work, so now that I'm finally capable of entering into the bootloader when I use the lg flash tool with kdz, it gets stuck at 2%.
If i try to flash via tot+dll it shows that my lg model is the L01F.
I have read about doing a cross dll editing with a hex editor, but I have tried and I dont get to work neither the dll nor the tot file

The posible solutions
There are many posts out there to edit with hex editor, in order to trick your phone to install the rom, also there are posts that will indicate you ro reflash all the .img again by killing the bootloader and entering in fastboot mode, but at least for me none of this worked.
The solution that worked out for me (thanks to Ayala's Inc youtube channel)
What you will need:
1-Lg flash tool for TOT files
2-Generic DLL
http://www.mediafire.com/download/vh6y1unm9fq8vtx/LGUP_8974.zip (893kb zip)
3-.tot image file that you are going to flash
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda%2FLG+G2%2FStock%2F
Note, if you are in this post, then you will realize that the .dll that are in the link above are not working for you, you must instead use the generic dll that it's in the zip.
How to flash, now this part is know by almost everyone:
1-Open flash tool.
2-Check the "select manual mode" box.
3-Load the generic .dll in the DLL part.
4-Load your image .TOT in the s/w part.
5-Do not modify anything else here.
6-Connect your device in download mode
7-Go to device manager
8-Scroll down below to Ports (COM and LPT)
9-Right clic to your device and select properties (Lg mobile usb serial port)
10-Clic in the port config. tab, then click in advaced options
11-Set the COM port numer to 41 and accept.
12-Now back again in the flash tool Click in the yellow arrow that is in the top left, and wait, if it doesn't start the process automaticaly, disconect your LG (keeping the download mode) and reconect it to the pc.
13-Wait for the process to finish, after the proccess is over, you will be able to flash any stock rom, your LG g2 will no longer be confused about its model.
*If the kdz lg flash tool stucks at 2%, this will be your solution.
*If the TOT lg flash tool doesn't flash because the rom/dll/phone is diferent this will help you to solve the problem
This might work with all the variants, I haven't tested, but it should because it's the generic dll file.
There it is the video, that helped me out, credits for him, he told me about the .dll solution
I can't visualize the video correctly so here is the link:

H910 LG Logo loop | tried many KDZs | factory reset not helping

Hi,
my H910 is not starting Android anymore.
I flashed many KDZ Files (different versions) with LGUP:
First in the mode "partition DL" (selected all partitions), after that I tried it often with "Upgrade" option.
Everything seems to be succesful, but LG V20 is in boot loop at the LG logo.
Sometimes I can see after LG Logo a circle with "erasing" for some miliseconds.
Tried recovery factory reset, circle spins some seconds then reboot and same loop.
Download Mode always works.
Factory reset dialog (recovery) works, but erase progress seems not to work.
I don't know what I should try now anymore.
EDIT:
Downloaded newest LG Universal Mobile Drivers from LG Site and now everything works
For the sake of leaving a record what helped you out of your problem, could you clarify?
You downloaded the latest LG Universal Mobile Drivers from LG site and installed them to your PC, replacing the drivers that seemed to work (the device was visible, LGUP did not complain).
Then you used the LGUP again to load something and that fixed the bootloop. What was that thing you loaded after updating the drivers?

Hi,
yes new drivers from LG site was my solution.
It was correct visible on LGUP before too.
Now I flashed same as before firmware 10f, than dirtysanta root and than recovery. As written in that "How to root" threads.
Seems like old LG drivers hat maybe some problems with Win 10 so that not everything was written correctly.
