Hi could anyone help with flashing my phone.
After an attempt to upgrade to marshmallow my phone no longer read my sim so I attempted to flash back and now I am stuck in the fastboot menu.
Can any one send me links or a detailed guide on how to fix this please?

How did you attempt to upgrade, were you on Stock and took the OTA or did you flashed a MM Firmware?
What steps did you follow when you tried to downgrade?

[Q] No sim/signal after downgrade

HI all. Bought myself a UK G2 the other day, came with 4.4.2 installed. I followed to guide to downgrade it to 4.2.2 (i'd rather keep it on that). After the .kdz flash (yes, it's the correct region and for the 16gb) it just says "no sim" all the time. Rooted, installed twrp, flashed the rootable kitkat zip that's in the forum, still no sim now I'm back on 4.4.2. Any ideas anyone? I need my phone for work so need it sorted asap.

Make a factory hard reset
Nope, still no good. Flashed both the official 4.4.2 kdz and also the 4.2.2
I'm having this same problem. I really need this fixed. I used this method to get root and now I have no service. It is very important that I get my phone working!
Edit: After several formats I tried a FULL format including Internal and System partitions then put the phone in Download mode and followed METHOD 2 of this guide.

[Q] LG G2 D802 Kitkat root problem

Hello,
I have LG G2 D802 brought from UAE. I accidentally upgraded to KitKat 4.2.2 after I brick my phone when trying to install trwp recovery in my 4.2.2 firmware. As I was eager to root it, I saw a method using IOroot25. It went very well and speruser and busybox are installed. But the recovery was horrible as it is not recognising my internal memory at all, when I tried to flash zip files it is not showing in the sd card and no option for back up also. So I tried to use the trwp manger, after that now when I tried to boot into recovery, only error message comes saying that " certificate error", Otherwise the phone is working very well. I tried to unroot using the flash tools, failed, also tried to downgrade firmwae to 4.2.2. using flash tools, failed. No neww rooting method also appering in any of the LG g2 forum. Kindly anybody can help me to solve this problem.
Thanking You

Downgrade worked for me twice. Just after downgrade, you must perform a factory reset.
Downgrade failed

Thanks for the reply,
I tried downgrade using the Xda thread. When I start upgrade, it goes to LG site and says you have the latest firmware, and it stops there. Can you please send me the details how you downgraded. Remember my 4.4.2 shows it is rooted, I tried to unroot using this thread thttp://lionking853.blogspot.ae/2013/10/how-to-root-and-unroot-lg-g2-all.html.
It also failed
So kindly help me
I want to downgrade urgently

No unroot will work. Only flash back to stock which was as replied above. Do not use the official lg tool. Use the one in the thread above.

[Q] Need help flashing stock firmware back to 900A via Odin

Basically I attemped to flash my phone to a custom rom. Now the phone only boots into safestrap and will not accept any roms I am trying to flash at all.
I downloaded ODIN but I am having a heck of a time trying to find the proper files for flashing back to stock firmware. If anyone could provide some insight it would be greatly appreciated
Need a working link to N900AUCUCNC2_N900AATTCNC2_N900AUCUCNC2_HOME.tar.md

Is there any way for me to root?

I have a g900v with android 6.0.1 I downloaded OTA. I know nothing about this topic, I was an apple user for 4 years then switched to this. I've tried to downgraDE using firmware from sammobile, don't know if that's what I am supposed to do... but nothing ever works, it either gets stuck on verizon screen or Odin says fail and I have to flash 6.0.1. Can anyone help? And remember I'm a noob so if you do help, please post links and stuff.
I have the same question.
I've looked all over XDA and other places and it seems that we have to use safestrap, but that requires root, and root requires an unlocked bootloader, but to unlock your bootloader requires root. I'm finding a circular reference that makes it impossible to do anything!
My CID starts with 15, im on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow (received OTA), not rooted, bootloader locked, on verizon. Is it possible to root this phone?
Did you guys see the stickies at the top? It's all (all of it) spelled out for you there. Read the guides
Guys, there are 2 guides you HAVE to read. Only the OP should do it.
In general, odin back to official PB1, then root the PB1 .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/general/root-method-og5-ok3-t3290370
Then unlock bootloader and flash to a MM rom.

I have tried to do all of this, but I don't have an unlocked bootloader and every time I flash pb1 it's a soft brick. Any help with this would be appreciated!

Right after flashing pb1, reboot into recovery and do a factory reset.
You mean it will softbrick when you flash pb1 tar file in Odin?

Yes, I flash it, the oNE from sammObie which has pb1 and is for g900v and I soft brick no matter what I do, so I flash back to 6.0.1

nsol1, read what Lightn1ng has stated and you should be fine. If not, try downloading PB1 from the link here:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24438995911970571
When you download it verify the md5 to make sure the file isn't corrupt in any way.
Also make sure you are following the guides EXACTLY as instructed from the link provided earlier in this thread. You must follow the two links in order, the top being the first that allows you to root, and the second link being last that unlocks your bootloader. This is not an easy process going from Marshmallow back to Lollipop, then unlocking bootloader to flash rooted Marshmallow, but take small steps at a time, pay attention to details and instructions and you should be able to do this with no problems. I am actually going to do this later today with a family member's S5. In about 24 hours I will update if I am unable to complete the steps provided. If I am able to get it working, then I will make sure to tell you what steps I took, if it was any different than what I stated in this post.
Research is always a good thing to do before taking the jump. I have already downloaded the necessary files onto my laptop before I proceed, including the files to flash in the event I make a mistake. That way I don't spend half a day downloading everything while the phone is unusable. And I have read through the majority of the comments to see what problems others have had issues with so I know what fixes there are.

Can you go to to download mode? If so go there. Then, flash the official firmware for your phone with Odin ; you can look up tutorials on how to do this on YouTube. If not send your phone to Samsung and pray your warranty is not voided as I did this for my S8 when I bricked it. Also bricked means when your phone cannot turn off at all. Bootloop is when the bootloader loops.
Ok so managed to get onto ice Rom but when I try to flash stock firmware back through odin I just get an error?
