LG G2 can't get to my custom recovery (TWRP) - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm not necessarily new to the root lifestyle of android but this may be a noob sort of problem
I rooted my LG G2 (t-mobile variant) and installed TWRP 2.6.3.2 if I'm not mistaken so every thing was fine in the beginning, I flashed ROMs (CM 13 PREFERABLY) so afterwards I decided to update my custom recovery from its current version at the time to 2.8.x.x it says that its installed but everytime I attempt to get into recover it give me the lg logo boot with some type of error message for about 2 seconds and then black screen as though there isn't a recovery installed, I've tried flashing it through Flashify and Rashr but to no avail. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!

[Q]LG D802 4.4.2 TWRP Not Opening

Hello I need help about an Android app called "AutoRec". I have rooted my LG G2 D802 4.4.2 with IOroot but I did not get SU app so I downloaded one from google play called "SuperSU" and I have checked and it says my device is rooted properly. I wanted to do a EFS Backup just in case so I started searching how to flash a custom recovery image. Luckily I found AutoRec and done it as instructed. But when I enter recovery mode from my phone it shows the standard stock LG recovery instead of TWRP 2.7. But after using the app again and tapping go to recovery from the AutoRec app after finishing I could use TWRP but once rebooted, it does not enter TWRP again when I try to enter to recovery mod, instead it shows the stock recovery. Can any of you help me please? Thank you.

[Q] Unable to install TWRP Recovery after CM12 YNG1TAS1K0 update

Hello Folks!!!
I was on a Rooted Stock 5.0.2 CM12 ROM with TWRP recovery, when I got the notification for an OTA update (YNG1TAS1K0). I found out that we had to flash stock recovery to install the update, so I did that, but the OTA update wouldn't install and kept throwing error saying something like "unable to update /sideload/". After multiple attempts, I finally flashed the whole ROM (cm-12.0-YNG1TAS1K0-tomato-signed.zip) via the stock recovery, and now I am on the latest stock build (YNG1TAS1K0). Unfortunately, I am stuck on the stock recovery now. Whenever I try to flash the TWRP recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0 for Lollipop), it goes into bootloop. I have temporarily flashed stock recovery again to make my phone usable again, but I would really like to flash TWRP again and root it. Any advice/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks. :highfive:

Same problem dude...
I too got same problem, but now solved. Use all in one tool box by gohel.vishal first unlock bootloader, 2] resart phone 3] now enable usb debugging 4] again use toolbox to fash custom recovery 5] after flashing remove battery and restart into recovery, thats all.
Issue fixed using this thread:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/unable-to-flash-custom-recovery-t3108847
(Remember to disable "Update CM recovery" option in Developer Options)
remove battery after install recovery before restarting phone

3 Thin black parallel lines on my display

I was on Stock ZVA, I wanted to install "[ROM] LS980 ZVI stock 5.0.2 flashable"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-g2/development/rom-ls980-stock-5-0-2-zvi-flashable-t3303163
So I used FreeGee app to install TWRP as suggested by some users, Twrp installed successfully, and i tried to flash the above ROM, it gave me failed error twice so i tried to restore my ZVA backup through TWRP, the device restarted normally LG boot logo appeared, and after that white line appeared and device shutdown, i treid to start the device again same thing happened, I used "[D80x][VS/LS980][F320x] Bootloader Changer 2.3.2 [AROMA MULTi 12] [30F][CAF]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/d802-bootloader-changer-1-1-jb-kk-lp-t3104380
to flash KK bootloader, and tried to installed the above ROM again, It started successfully, now everything is working fine but there are now three thin black parallel line on the right side of the screen :crying:

Try this.

I have no idea why i'm in bootloop.

Hello,
Since my G2 is now out of warranty, i decided to upgrade my stock version ( lollipop ) to ResurrectionRemix-N-v5.8.0-20161128-d802.
Well in order, what i did :
-rooted phone with Kingo because the LG one click root method wasn't working ( MSVCR100.dll is missing" error, install Visual C++ Redist not possible => telling me my version is newer ; probably since i'm running Windows10 x64 )
-installed autorec and got TWRP 2.7.0.0
-i made a backup of everything on my usb disk.
-installed ResurrectionRemix v.5.8.0 and bootstack-d802-CAF
-loaded it successfully
-tried to reboot in recovery for installing GAPPS
-got trouble with lg security when booting since, and never been able to go in recovery again.
-i've been able to still load the system to Nougat, and tried to reinstall autorec... i was rooted and it didn't worked ( loki error ), so i unrooted and rooted it again, rebooted, and i'm now stuck in bootloop when loading Resurrection and i have no clue where to start from now on.
I would accept and be grateful for any idea
Thank you.
Update : i'm lucky, i just plugged it to computer and i'm running Download mode.
