Lumia 950 (SS) Product code 059X4X7: convert / rebuild to dual sim - Microsoft Lumia 950/950 XL

I have read a lot of topics about the ROMs tor the Lumia 950 (the normal version and not the XL). Myself i have got a Lumia 950 Single SIM with the product code 059X4X7. I can not find any information about his product code anywhere on the web. I have bought the phone in the Netherlands so maybe these phones in the Netherlands are so new that nobody has one yet so little information is available. With Windows Device Recovery Tool (WDRT) i have confirmed the product code using fiddler when i try to check my version with it. I have no real problems with the phone so using the WDRT it hould be getting the new software and i am convinced that that will work. The reason why i am lookin for this information is because i am investigating if i can change / rebuild my single SIM in a dual version. First i want to upgrade the motherboard of the phone with an extra SIM holder slot for the second SIM and then flash it with the appropiate ROM ffu for the dual sim version. But i do not know the correct product code for the 950 Dual SIM. Does any body know this product code ? And maybe somebody has some more information about the idear itself ? Would apreciate it.
I have created a new thread because i think more people are interested in this (i think)!

The 950 and also the 950 XL have different motherboards for the dual sim versions not to mention the cases are different.

What i can see on all photos and videos the motherboards are the same. The SM version motherboard has en empty space for the 2th sim. So it can be soldered. The case is the same and just different for the cap for the 2th sim place. So i still think it is possible when after the soldering of the second sim the software is changed to the right version. Disagree?

Does anybody have some new information about upgrading a Lumia 950 single SIM into a dual sim version ? The motherboards look exactly the same, the second sim placeholder is present there so a new sim holder can be soldered onto it. I have tried it but it is all so tiny and small and my tools are not appropriate, so i had no luck / success. Also not found a repair shop who dared to do the soldering. Maybe somebody succeeded and has new ways of doing.

Rebel Sim Card

Hi folks,
Just joined a few days ago after buying an O2 locked HD2 on eBay. Already learned a lot here. Need to unlock the thing. Came across the "Rebel Sim Card". Any comments on that would be helpful. I'm particularly wondering whether there is any advantage of the Rebel over just getting the HD2 unlocked via a code?
Rebel card is OK if you just need your phone to making calls. No chance to use internet with RC.
IMO if you really want your phone to be useful device spend a little bit more extra and unlock via code
RC costs sth like 10 pounds on ebay. It didn`t work for all of my workmates who tried this method. Unlocking code costs 15 and you can be sure it will work ! With HD2 unlocked properly by code you are able to use all features of your mobile.

A510FD (DUAL SIM) middle cover/chassis

Hello, I bought this wonderful device some weeks ago but unfortunately I made some scratches on the metal body (corners) and I want to buy a new frame. The problem is that this model is sold mainly in Asia so here in Europe I cannot find this part.
For the single sim version the part number (in black) is GH96-09392B but I do not know the ID for our devices (which comes with another sim slot on the upper part of the bezel).
Does anybody know the reference number for this part or where I can buy it?
Thanks in advance.

Model Numbers that work in the USA

Hello,
I know many will think I am crazy, but I have decided to get a Microsoft (Nokia) Lumia 950 or 950 XL. I'm leaning more towards the XL. I figure I have a Windows PC, Windows Laptop, Microsoft Xbox One S, may as we'll have a Windows Phone too. I'm not a power user by any means and the few apps I actually use are all available on Windows Phone.
I have noticed that there are quite a few different model numbers for them. I'm not interested in spending retail on the device directly from Microsoft. I see various model numbers can be had for under $300 on Amazon. That said, the AT&T version of the 950 is just under $300 directly from Microsoft so if I go 950 I guess I wouldn't be opposed to that. I intend to use it with AT&T anyways.
Model Numbers I am seeing on Amazon:
RM-1085 Single Sim
RM-1116 Dual Sim
RM-1104 (950)
Any recommendations between 950 vs 950 XL would be great too.

Motherboard question - Help appreciated

Hey guys,
My Nexus 6p no longer receives signal, which is caused by a faulty soldered chip on the motherboard. All the service shops I visited can't fix it, they recommended buying a new motherboard instead. My Nexus 6p is the H1512 (International) model. The question is:
Can I put the motherboard from H1511(NA) to the H1512(International) mode and will it work? Broken USA models are selling cheap and I will pretty much try that, if anyone can give me a hint at the possibility of it working out.
Thank you
Graphics card guys having issues with solder have put their cards in oven at 250 for some length of time (I don't remember) to fix the solder to make a dead card work again.

Sorry to say but I can't see how this could possibly be economical or worth the effort. No reason it would not mechanically connect and function but the question is really: will the NA model work well in your location? A quick google of the bands in Bulgaria vs USA says no. No GSM overlap, No 4G LTE overlap and only one UTMS band on 3G (UTMS 2100). Another risk you take is the MB is already toast on the phone you buy (and the reason it was sold for parts). You really need to find a INTL MB for it to work in your country.

Looking for a good motherboard and don’t know which is the best. Don’t worry. Here we are introducing the best motherboard for Ryzen 7 3700X. It is a really impressive launch from AMD and its third Generation of Ryzen chips.
With it, you’re getting 8-cores and 16-threads, with a boost clock speed of 4.4GHz. With some other unique and fastest chip from the Ryzen 3000 series, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for AMD processors.
