I want a blank userdata.img that i can use in miflash tool, Since 90% of the bloatware for original miui is stored in it,
Also if its possible to edit the existing userdata.img what tools will i be needing

I have stupidly renamed my official htc rom cwm backup.
And cant remember the original name!
cwm says that here is a md5 sum mismatch!
Has anyone got a backup they could zip up and upload?
If not how to get it back
Can i flash the .img files in fastboot?
RUU? Would that get me back too stock HTC 2.2.1?
Make sure that there are no spaces in the new renamed folder. Then it may clear the md5 checksum error.
And you can also flash the img files from fastboot.
Commands are
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot flash userdata data.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system system.img

when i add a name cm7's standard file manager ands spaces the .number(1,2,3 etc.)

figured it out!
I was following Heisenberg's guide "How To Flash The Factory Images (And Return To Stock)" and it said to extract the factory images but I always get an error from Winrar and 7zip. I downloaded many times from google page.
Anyone know whats up?
Also, if I just do:
fastboot flash boot C:\angler\images\boot.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash cache C:\angler\images\cache.img
fastboot flash recovery C:\angler\images\recovery.img
fastboot flash system C:\angler\images\system.img
fastboot flash vendor C:\angler\images\vendor.img
fastboot format userdata
and leave the bootloader and radio alone, it should put me back to near stock erasing everything so its like from factory state? TWRP doesnt touch some partition even when formatting...
Just download the facory image use 7zip to extract it put everything extracted in your adb fastboot file and in adb type flash-all.bat it will take you back to stock but your boatloader will still be unlocked so just re flash twrp
Must be something wrong with IDM.. downloaded through chrome and it extracted fine...
I use the new Windows 10 browser so I don't know I believe I extracted the tar then theirs a white folder I had to extract a second time to get the multiple files needed also I opened the file in 7zip to make sure it was right

I need a native fastboot image for modemst1 and modemst2.
Yes i now some of you don´t want to upload the file because of the IMEI
But my opt coldn´t detect my imei so simcard detection couldn´t work .
The get the issue after flashing the MIU7 ROM , please don´t flash the ROM
If there is somebody who want to upload the modemst 1 and modemst2 please make a replay with the link or send my the file or with a email

I had that same after install Miui v7, phone got hardbrick.
I used download tool for back 100% Oxygen Os.
Phone woke up but had problem with wifi+sim no detect.(Imei Gone)
It was problem with EFS Partition damaged I think.
User RevUnix saved my time and life
You must use adb console and put :
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot reboot
Note: Please be sure you have unlocked bootloader
That should repair your phone

A friend accidentally erased system partition. Phone enters TWRP and fastboot but I can't update with update.App so I'm looking for a dumped system.img (or a way to make a system.img from the unsparse files (unsparse joiner didn't work) to try to revive the phone.

Hi everyone,may some of you need to back to stock Emui here some simple method which working fine, and i've try myself.
Things needed:
-Download these 4 images files, you can get it here

-Make sure you have adb&fastboot working, you guys really know what's this really well.
-Download and extract the files, make it easier folder/dir.
-Flash each files as its named
Fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdisk.img
Fastboot flash ramdisk ramdisk.img
Fastboot flash cust cust.img
Fastboot erase system
Lets wait till process done

When you need to re-lock bootloader use Huawei Multi-Tool
And all those files extracted using Huawei MT, based on latest Oreo HW_eu.
Don't try to use the files on other model, when you do..do it with your own risk.
I decided to type and flash it manualy after faced some error on system partition using Huawei MT.
