Click bait? They posted a quote that was given to them directly from LG.
Sounds to me like some people are out looking to cause a drama. No proof is needed, as the website has provided the quote. Major websites cannot and will not "lie" about these quotes/statements.

What are your thoughts but the internet blacklist legislation. I am against it and I signed the petition which voice my views against it. Kennyglass123 has a direct link to an already composed letter that will be sent to your congressional representative. File it out and it will automatically send a letter to your congress person it takes 30 seconds to fill out. The link a have below is the more round about way of doing it but achieves the same thing.

I sent out the letters to all my local representatives and urge everyone to do so. The easiest way to ensure that crap like this passes is to do nothing. I will post a link to hook you up with your representatives with a prewritten letter.

I signed the letter already. Nice link. Every devices forum should have one of these. I started this thread to make people aware of the consequences of doing nothing. Sites like XDA will be extremely waterdown. The things we enjoy now like free tether and all the other free perks we get from the internet will be lost. Think about and do something guys.
Maybe add "please sign to protect XDA" to the title of the thread.

According to the information in the forum, I expect my S3 (Titanium Gray) to become dead in 2-3 months. Titanium Gray models arrived later on the market. Most probably that's the reason why they are still alive.

It can't be involved since there are electronics in the phone and in the battery that control the incoming current etc. They have nothing in common with eMMCs.

Great site. I got bored, so I just went there. I thought this thread was going to get ugly, that's why I said "someone delete this thread". And to those who said that he did this for ad revenue, I looked at his site, and there are all of 3 (non obtrusive) ads.

the first load takes some time but it should be faster the next time.I will read on how to make it faster, already have wpcache but maybe need to tweak the settings.
I do this for a hobby, not for making money so if and when I make money from ads that will go back to the community in forms of gadget giveaways and not into my own pocket as I earn enough to make a good living.

I really don't like getting involved or talking about other people's business, especially in a setting like this. I have a Pixel 2 XL and it is being said that he has some personal/life issues he is taking care of. The reason why I'm stating this is so that "EVERYONE" won't start PM'ing him. "IF" he is addressing his personal life, the last thing he needs is a ton of PM's from here!

I just want to say, @phhusson is doing one heck of a job over in the [DEV] Project Treble generic ASOP thread. He has an Essential Phone and there is also a thread in Essential Android Development. He only has one phone and it's his daily driver. If you want to read up on it, you'll see that "HE" is making a tremendous amount of progress, in a short amount of time. If anything, he seems to be committed to making this work. Just something to consider!

Essential does not currently offer international shipping. The f&f code can only be redeemed directly with Essential.

So the other option is to have someone do it and mail it. Possibly the people who are offering their codes. @shooterlgk and/or @enrunn?
