Can i bring my 3s prime back to original miui os if flashed with custom rom

Hi there guys, i had redmi 3s prime. i guess have to unlock bootloader and root to flash custom rom. right? so if anything **** happens and if want to take it to service center (or if not i just want to), can i revert back to original state with MIUI stock os (which can receive official miui ota updates) and eligible for any warranty as same as original handset?
Of course. You can do it,use unbricking method or fastboot mode flash using miflash app.
Yes, ofcourse...you can backup using TWRP and restore everything ...
and secondary you can use MI Flash to flash fastboot rom and bring back everything to normal
Of course you can. Just do what you did when flashing custom ROM.

[Quide] How to install TWRP, gain Root and install XIAOMI.EU rom

This guide was almost directly taken out of XIAOMI.EU website. I just wanted to spead the wisdom and grow Mi Max 2 community.
If your device is not locked:
Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install XIAOMI.EU ROM.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
For root install SuperSU 2.82 in TWRP
If your device is locked:
Unlock your first bootloader here http://en.miui.com/unlock/. You will need a PC and it might take about 72 hours.
Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot boot twrp.img
Wipe /data partition
Copy XIAOMI.EU ROM to the internal storage
Install the ROM with TWRP
Reboot

Unlocked Bootloader Hassle?
Hi all, I am considering buying the Mi Max 2 (sale today, they finally have a black version).
And of course TWRP/root it. I already own the Mi Pad 2, and the issue I see here is that after bootloader unlocking I get confronted with this nasty warning screen on every boot. Even worse, it does not continue booting until I confirm (press volume up key). This is even true for battery loading animation. Extremely annoying.
Do you see that same behavior on your unlocked Mi Max 2?
Thank you for quick reply!
No such issue

I do not have such issues after TWRP+root. I listed some of the other issues that I have in my review. However, I think none of those are very major and most of them can be fixed be software update (or possible me finding the right settings for the phone).

Thanks, I placed an order, at USD 249 for a black Mi Max 2, cannot really go wrong. Let's see how this SD625 performs in real life. I have a Letv X900 with an excellent display and super-smooth experience, so I am somewhat spoiled. But it does have limited battery life, so I expect this to be drastically better with the new Mi Max architecture. Not sure though if I prefer smooth performance or longer SOT.

Yes This is Work For you
hey how backup stock recovery?
1. boot twrp recovery, do not flash it permanently, like so:
fastboot boot "name of twrp recovery.img"
2. while in twrp, do a nandroid backup including the stock recovery.
3. if you wish you can then flash permanently the twrp recovery within twrp itself or else reboot to system.
I have mine unlocked today. Recovery is on the Max 2 but when I flash the latest Miui 8 Global - the phone stuck at the bootlogo...
Does it need Internet connection while unlocking the bootloader?
Can I use the phone while unlocking it? Does it need Internet connection and what is the requirements by doing this? Does it need to be always connected on a PC?
What if I just want root while keeping the stock ROM, how would I go about doing that? Do I still need to install TWRP?

to get root you need to flash either SuperSU or Magisk. it can be done via TWRP only.. there are other methods you can root without TWRP recovery but TWRP is the easiest and safest way..
after flashing root solution you can always go back to stock recovery over TWRP recovery but it is just pointless doing so
anyone playing pokemon go on mi max 2
Has anyone playing po go and spofing on mi max 2,
i didnot find compatibility in twrp for mi max? under devices
do you can use magisk?
thank you
Hi
I'm stuck on Mi logo after flashing TWRP. The only thing that appears on the screen is Mi logo and "Unlocked". I downloaded "TWRP Oxygen2".
What shall I do? Anyone?
Edit: solved via MiFlash

Bricked Mi A1

Managed to brick my A1. The only screen its able to go to is either fastbook, or recovery. And even then, doesn't always necessarily boot into recovery, have to plug into computer and go into command prompt (fastboot boot oreo_3.2.2_recovery.img) to get it into TWRP.
Currently can't seem to flash *any* roms, I have a stock rom ("tissot_100108_stock" cant remember where i got it from). Which successfully flashes, but then on reboot gets stuck on the Android One screen. Longest i have waited before giving up is an hour. Even when i flash this rom and reboot, i get a message on TWRP saying "No OS installed"
Tried doing this: [wont let me post link] (MiFlash) method and got an error, basically does not work.
Super frustrated, at my wits end, would just like to flash stock rom and sell this thing or let it sit in a drawer at this point. Thanks in advance.
same problem here...
I have the exact same issue and also came here for that to ask for help.
Xiaomi Mi A1 was running 8.1 OTA updated and then I tried to flash Lineage, but it did not work. I wiped my phone and now it can't install anything, not via TWRP nor with Mi Flash.
I hope we can find a solution.

hopefully! i posted on the xiaomi subreddit but no help. i was on 8.0 when i started this whole misadventure.
I got somewhere, I think.
I went into TWRP, switched from B to A booting. It then starts Android but gets stuck in the boot screen of Android one with the colored bar.
I then tried MiFlash again, going directly to the folder which containts the .bat files. It started flashing it finally.
I am back to a working system.
Let me know if it works for you.
you guys should try flashing the latest stock rom 8.1 July running the bat file of your choice located in the factory image through fastboot
the different custom recoveries and miflash are sometimes buggy
run the script directly on fastboot

Anti rollback check error

Hello guys i can't back to stock global rom with mi flash tools please someone help me how to fix this error
Me too Mi 9T
I have the same problem here, anyone managed to solve the problem?
I'm same
I also had this problem after flashing android 10 based custom rom via twrp and flashing stock rom back via mi flash tool. It was solved by below for me:
- First flash back android 9 based custom rom by twrp. Boot for first time. In my case, it was bootloop.
- Then, enter fastboot and flash stock android 9 rom with this mi flash tool beta. Find in this link. (mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/davinci/)
- It was success for me.

Mi 9T Soft Brick ? Antiroll back need help

Good day i have a problem with my mi 9t. I have installed the miui 11 eu version on my phone and i was using it for a few weeks. I have decided i want to go back to miui 10 global but when i go to flash the rom with mi flash tool i get antiroll back error as seen in the image on this post. I have tried to install via TWRP chinese recovery but the phone shows the logo for a few seconds and then goes straight to the TWRP recovery automatically. I tried installing havoc os pie still same problem. I was reading up about the anitroll back that the miui eu has and i think that the phone is soft bricked because i tried flashing via twrp with anitroll back on my phone. I did the anitroll back test to get the index and i have a antiroll back index of 1. If anyone can help me with this problem or have the solution please give me some help. Thank You
I am able to get into twrp recovery but any rom i flash just reboots back to twrp recovery
Ok I fixed it I just flashed back the miui 11 eu I was using before and it boots up but now I want to flash the new miui 11 global but I'm afraid it may brick again. Only one way to find out.
