Noob Questions: Emojis and battery life questions - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone! I recently bought a Note 4 from a trade and I had not realized that that state of rooting for the Verizon Note 4 was so bleak. I'm kind of dealing with it for now, but my biggest (and pettiest issue) with the stock Note 4...is the Samsung emojis. I've learned to tolerate and edit most of the other stock features, but I really just want Google emojis back. Is there any kind of workaround for this? Preferably for the entire system and not just for my messaging app, but I'll take what I can get.
Also, how is the battery life for everyone? On my first day I got 3hrs SOT, but I just assumed it was because I was downloading all of my old files and apps back. Any words of advice for better battery life?
Thanks for any feedback!

[Q] xpost from Verizon s5 - Bad battery in Germany

Hello all. I posted about a week ago in the Verizon s5 section with regards to bad battery life while living in Germany. I have gotten exactly 0 feedback over there, so I figured I would post my question here.
Admins - I am just copying and pasting. Unless you think it would be better to just move the post?
Anyway -

Hello all. This is my first actual help post cause I now have a problem, but I have been lurking for a while.
Anyway, I have a rooted S5 from verizon that had awesome battery life compared to my old nexus - I could hit 2 days with one charge. Anyway, I am now living in Germany, will be here for the next year, and I can get maybe half a day before I hit 30%. It feels like I am back with the nexus, I have to plan my charging around what I will be doing.
My carrier here is Lebara. Under the battery stats Android system and Androud OS dominate usage. I had that under control in the States with some TB tweaking, but it is back with a vengance. I haven't updated the OS and am not planning to until L comes out and is compatible with root.
I am never far from an outlet, but I don't want to return to my old habits of always plugging in.
I just had a thought - is it possible that the different electricity standards here nuked my battery? If this is the case, should I worry about my tablet too?
I am also starting to notice a lot more lag and even freezing from normal usage.

Tl;dr?
Moved to Germany with rooted Verizon S5. Now using Lebara. Half day battery life. Starting to notice lots of lag and freezing. Help!

Note 4 snapdragon poor battery life

Hi I've had the note 4 for awhile, got it from the Telstra shop, the N900G I've removed as much bloatware as I could and have realised my battery life is appealing and have no clue what the reason is, can someone help me. My phone is stock and hasn't been rooted

Battery Issues - 2-3h SOT

Hello everyone,
i am a very happy owner of a Note 4 model N910U besides the terrible battery life.
At first I didn't complain (used to my nexus 5) but after reading through the forum i got super dissapointed.
I am full stock, with some bloatware deactivated and no root. Unfortunately working for big G i am not allowed to customize anything (root included) as they would find out as soon as i connect to the corporate wifi. Yes, i tried and got a very scary email the second day.
I usually keep wifi activated, auto-brightness and nova launcher. I read here that nova can impact battery life but also with the ugly TW there is almost no difference. I never got more than 3 SOT and absolutely never got close the 5-6 SOT that i saw on the forum.
I've attached some SS and if someone can spot something wrong it would be great.
Thanks!

There are so many posts about "Why is my battery bad" in the "Note 4 Battery Thread" already. But here are some tips anyway...
You have a lot of wakelocks:
1. Is "Location Reporting" in "Location" switched ON? Switch this OFF
2. Google Play Services and Android System are high, there could be an app that is behaving badly like Weather app refreshing too often, Instant Messaging, Email Syncs.
Thanks will ask over there. Feel free to close the thread. And thanks for the tips!

New Galaxt Tab, crap battery!

Hey guys. I bought my wife a new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and its great but the battery life is TERRIBLE! At first, we thought something was wrong with the Tab because it was draining the battery about 1% every couple minutes. She would play one game at 95% battery for about 10 minutes and the battery would now be at 45%. I went through it shutting off and disabling everything i could and the battery life improved greatly. The problem now is all this Samsung garbage starting up and killing the battery. We cant keep going in and turning this stuff off every time she turns the tablet on. So I would like to root it and use titanium Backup to remove all this bloatware thats killing her battery. I'm familiar with galaxy phone rooting but not tablets so I'm unsure if the process is basiclly the same.
It would be greatly appreciated if you guys could point me to a root methods for this, it has KitKat 4.4 on it, And maybe if you guys could be so kind as to point me in the direction of an app list for things that are safe to remove and not safe to remove? Thanks guys.

Galaxy s6 edge Plus Battery

Okay guys, I am not sure if any thread has been made about this before etc. I hope I am not spamming the forums with another yet answered question 1000 times But...
I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 edge plus, I attempted a root and my battery went from good to draining like a son of a b***h. (The root failed so I stock rom'd it)
So in my attempts of fixing purchased a new battery fitted it. same issue drains so quick.
So I then rooted my phone which this time rooted successfully. (woo noob did something right) and the battery was perfect. couldn't ask for more it lasted for over 24 hours brilliant!
But now I have unrooted and put it back to stock Rom. and same issue again battery draining so quickly.
So is there anyway to fix this without rooting my phone? something i've missed out. I don't want to give up hope! I have probably missed something out or w/e
But I can say the phone gets hot for no reason what so ever. I have tried sending it back (after first stock rom) but Samsung noticed some how it had been rooted(or attempted atleast) Anyhow hope to hear something of some of you androiders who actually know what you're doing   hopefully this will fix my phone!
Thanks in advanced. and again sorry if this question has already been solved. been looking through though only thing I found was rooted fixs
Try package disabler pro from GP. It disables all bloatware, about doubled battery life on my GS6+, and without rooting
