Can we make a way to auto-install TWRP for our device ?? (D290n, D295) - LG L Fino Questions & Answers

Is there a way to do that ? I don't wanna hard brick my phone again because I missed a symbol in the "dd" command ...

I made a "TWRP Material" (with Material Theme) to install directly from Flashify, unpatched the aboot.img... but, I need a tester.

I suppose it's the version of the device, I tried it on a D295 and works the reboot. I will compile the recovery to D290n and I will send you.

[Q]Loop Boot after install 2ndinit

Hi all,
I'm new owner of a Motorola Defy + (MB526), I have no problem to root my phone with SuperOneClick app.
After, I tried to install the recovery with the 2init2.0 apk and my phone reboot in loop on the Motorola logo. I disable USB debugging before rebooting.
What can I do?
Thank you in advance!
PS: I can not even until the blue LED

just to get this clear: your phone wont boot, and you cant even access the 2ndinit bootmenu/recovery (so blue LED wont light up)? if so, did you install sd recovery, or Sndinit 2.0?

Hello,
Yes my phone wont boot, I cant acces to 2ndinit bootmenu/recovery.
No, I didnt install sd recovery or Sndinit2.0
But i could access to the "factory" recovery. I try to wipe with the two options but no changes.
Thanks for your reply !
so you have used 2ndinit2.0(i think sndinit is the same)
Did you have "success" after install?
Anyway, i think that you should flash it via rsd lite and try again.

Hold power+volume buttons until the phone shuts down. Then, release the buttons, and immediately press them all again. You will be booted in bootloader. Select recovery, and restore your backup, if you did one, or flash another ROM.

With no root, the only way to get rid of this bootloop is to factory reset, you can do it in recovery by pressing volume down + power at the same time, then you choose Recovery with the volume button. BUT you will loose everything ( pics, apps, etc. ).
But I hope that someone can give you another solution less "destructive".

Can he do a back up using ADB and then do a partial restoration after a factory reset?
Will adb backup work if the phone's not booting? .. I know that adb works when in a bootloop, but in the guide it shows a prompt to enter some encryption password ... I summon android wizards to answer this ...

Did you ask in the carbon thread?
Chances are it was a wipe issue.
Did you wipe in stock or aosp recovery?
You can always get back to stock by flashing the stock firmware.
I did this via booting twrp then flashing to both slots.
So unlock storage in twrp, then go flash the ROM, reboot recovery and it'll change slot.
Then flash it again.
Then reboot
Should boot
If not boot to recovery again (not twrp) and wipe system and data.
Should work then..
I didn't have that issue when carbon myself
If push comes to shove there's a tool to get back to stock @meffles has suggested it a few times but I've not used it myself, although he has and he swears by it.
Probably a good way to go and won't be hard.

Don't think so but you can go to any version using this tool (depending on whichever version you choose to download).
But yes, you can go back to android 10 from 11 no problem.

Meffles is your man or check in the thread..
Don't you connect in EDL mode?
Think it's like a lower level recovery mode that you get to without having the cable connected. The screen will be blank..
Then connect and if should show..
Least that's my loose understanding of it.
What does the thread say??
Ps: looks like the application has stopped responding..
Make sure you have ran it as an administrator and that all pre requisites are installed that the application requires..

Turn your phone off, and make sure you don't have any cables connected. Hold volume up + volume down for 20 seconds, then plug in the usbc cable whilst still holding the volume buttons. You should see it spring into life. If not, then you need to check your drivers, which is covered in the link I provided you with.
I've taken it to a shop for repair
