Locked out of Zenfone 2 - No pattern lock or pin code - Zenfone 2 Laser Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi,
I´ve got a situation here, from a cousin´s phone, he can´t get into menu. there´s a notification/shortcut circle on locked screen, and we can´t get through it. Phone has no pin or pattern lock, image below. Does anyone know wtf is that, and better yet, how to get passed it?
thnx,
br

well, as I didn´t got any ideas, backed up phone from adb (usb debugging was set), and hard reseted it. so thread may be closed.

unable to root / unlock ZTE A7

Hello guys,
my son has a ZTE A7, and he was dumb enough to set lock screen with a complicated pattern which he forgot.
When he tried to unlock the phone, he wasn't able to do it and now it is locked.
He gets a message saying that there where too many failed attempts to unlock the phone, and the it asks for the gmail user and pwd. This would be great if wi-fi or 3g was active, which is not the case.
I've searched and found some ways to unlock the phone, but I'm stuck because phone isn't rooted usb debugging may or may not be enabled.
Any suggestion on how to workaround this? Or does he owns now a nice brick?
Thanks a lot if anyone can give an idea.

I've googled for a hard reset solution and found it: using emergency call just had to do the following:
Remove battery and reinsert it.
Remove memory card
Touch emergency call
Key in *983*987#
dial
Done, problem solved!

Possible to 'crack' 6P locked by ADM?

Long shot as this shouldn't be possible, but I figured I'd try asking here anyways. Is there any way to unlock a 6P that's pin-locked by Android's Device Manager?
The goal is to get the pictures off this phone. It was my brother's phone before he passed away and I've been holding on to it for the past few months - just haven't had the energy to try to deal with it...
-I have access to the gmail account.
-I tried changing the pin through Google's device manager, but since the phone was already locked, the new pin did not take. I get the message on the phone about the new pin, but it doesn't unlock it.
-Developer mode is not enabled (i.e. USB debugging).
-Not rooted or anything like that and most likely has the latest updates (t-mobile). As a matter of fact, the lock screen says that a new system update has been downloaded.
Thanks.
Try putting twrp in your adb folder, boot into fastboot and use "fastboot boot twrp.img"

The only way I can think of is by installing twrp on the phone. The only way it wouldn't work would be if he didn't have USB debugging enabled, which if he didn't then you might be out of luck... I'm so sorry.

Unfortunately, I am pretty sure USB debugging is not enabled...sorry that's what I meant when I wrote developer mode (I've tinkered with making apps, so I know what it is).
Thanks.
Same situation here and I try to figure a solution for many days.In my opinia the only way to bypass is a modified google account manager ! Could anybody help?
@clappe Just pretty sure? It wasn't mentioned in the OP, so I'll ask. Have you tried to install ADB on your PC and using ADB pull to grab the files from /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera ? That's the directory to the location where the pictures are stored.
Also, to anyone mentioning TWRP. That's a flat out no-go. He stated bootloader was locked. You can't do that unless you unlock the bootloader.
Edit: He didn't say that, I assumed when he wrote not rooted or anything. Can you power cycle the device? Hold power until it shuts off then boot it up again. Do you see a padlock icon under the Google logo right when it starts up or no?
Edit2: Later today (after work, around 10 hours or so) I'll flash my 6P to stock factory images and relock my bootloader. I'll use device manager to pin lock it and pretend I don't know the password. I'll try a few things and see what I can do. Also, you have my condolences. Sorry for your loss.

Connecting the device to a Windows 10 PC, it will recognize the 6P, but using Windows Explorer will show no files.
Running 'adb devices' lists no devices.
When I power on the 6P, first I get the 'Google' text logo, then the colorful 'spinny' android logo, then the 'android' text logo. Then it goes to the usual lock screen (shows the time, background, etc). On this screen are the normal shortcut buttons on the bottom - microphone, padlock, camera. After a few seconds it shows the 'Locked by Android Device Manager' screen, this has a padlock symbol in the middle along with the pin code that I set online through Google's device manager.
Thanks.
Might be worth a shot to try to contact Google. You'll need proof of your identity, and the passing of your brother though. Best of luck. Sorry about your loss.
If you end up not being able to get a rep that can help via email or phone calls; you might have to do a hardmod.

Hardmod? I did a quick search and the only hardmod I found was to deal with temperature.
Thanks.

No Password entry possible after unlocking bootloader

Hello dear communtiy,
i think i have a quite serious problem: I unlocked the bootloader on my Huawei p8 lite 2017, and it started an obligatory factory reset (because of possible data theft...). Well, after rebooting i find myself without a keyboard to enter my password. I normally use the fingerprint sensor to unlock it, but when you restart it you have to enter a password. There is a numpad for entering the PIN after restart, but just no way of entering anything into the password box. Its a text password with 13 letters (if thats any important). Of course i searched for solutions on the internet and tried almost all of them:
Idea 1: Boot into safe mode: No keyboard in safe mode
Idea 2: Use Huawei erecovery: No keyboard after whats effectively another factory reset (at least thats what i think it is)
Idea 3: Use Google Play on the PC to remotely install a keyboard: Google Play now says a keyboard app is installed, but theres still no keyboard on the phone
Idea 4: Use ADB to somehow do something: USB debugging IS enabled, but my phone is stuck at using USB only to charge
Idea 5: Use a USB keayboard with a micro usb adapter: havent tried that yet, but i am not sure if it will even allow me to enter anything via USB before the phone is unlocked
Idea 6: I have made a Backup of Apps and such via Huawei HiSuite before unlocking the bootloader, but i cant figure out a way to apply it. Maybe it will bring back some form of keyboard when applied.
Im currently doing another Huawei erecovery just because i hope it will do something, but i dont think it will. I am in desperate need of my phone and beg for immediate help. I didnt flash anything onto it, i just unlocked the bootloader with this code you get. I am less than a beginner at screwing with phones. I feel really scared at the moment, since i only had this phone for a couple of weeks. Is there any hope for it?
Again, im begging for it to work,
Kalle
Edit: After in total 3 "resets" theres still personal data on the phone, because i see my old wallpaper on the locked screen.

G950U1UES5DSF3 Combination File??

Does anyone know where a G950U1UES5DSF3 combination file is? I haven't had any luck finding one, and my phone got FRP locked. In order to use my phone (since I got water in my digitizer ) I need to use USB debugging. Well, the problem is, my phone is stuck on the setup screen and I cannot get passed it without enabling ADB somehow, because I flashed the new stock rom. Please, send help!
