I can't find myself really well with Honor 7 default keyboard...
I tried also Google Keyboard wich is a lot better but there is no possibility to stuck with capital letters for a while...
If you want to write a text in capital letter you should type again and again the Arrow...
I really miss my old Samsung S4 keyboard.There is any possibility i can use with Honor 7.Or at least something really similar would be great !!!

Smart, Better, Swipe, Htc and the other keyboard... what's the differences? They do all the same things, imho. But you ever used the keyboard that comes with our X8? It's the only one that allow you to edit the words putting the cursor just where you need it. The others don't do this, if you need to edit a word you have to try many times until you got it. So, why you all think that the others are better than the SE keyboard?
So, i wonder if some developer could port the stock keyboard to our device.

I had try other keyboards but now i also use the stock keyboard.

I always have and probably always will favor the stock 3x4 keyboard over the, in my opinion, "cumbersome" QWERTY keyboard on my Samsung smartphone. I recently upgraded from a Galaxy S2, having had no past problems with the overall operation of the 3x4 keyboard, with everything being as simple and user friendly as one could expect from a modern smartphone.
Jump forward to the recent purchase of my Galaxy S4 and my understandable dismay at the sudden realization that the once faithful and reliable 3x4 keyboard hangs, with one very annoying feature, namely this...
When attempting to create a space between words when typing any sort of text, you need to press the the spacebar TWICE just to create a space between words, and/or wait for the underline of the selected word to move itself, which in itself is far too long a wait, (almost 2 whole seconds).
After several frustrated hours testing the limits of my tech know-how, I turned to the Internet for answers, only to find countless other perplexed 3x4 keyboard users frustrated by the same stupid design flaw, and no apparent solutions to the issue. I even sat on live chat with 3 different Samsung Customer Service Assistants who all told me, and i quote, "The Galaxy S4 was designed in favor of the QWERTY keyboard, and unfortunately I would just have to deal with the "problem" as best as i can.".
So...
My question is two part...
1. How could anyone with any morsel of common sense, while testing this format in development stages use this feature and agree that tapping the spacebar 200 time in a simple text message instead of 100 times is more practical and user friendly?
And 2. Is there some way to fix this annoying problem? With either a modded apk. installation of a software rollback or a root function, or anything?!?! I'm desperate to fix this!
And lastly, as if I don't already sound too demanding, I would appreciate it if anyone responding to this actually either owns a Galaxy S4 and has experienced this problem, and/or has some actual legitimate tech know-how and can offer an educated suggestion, instead of just "Hey Bro, have you checked your settings?", or "Just learn to use the QWERTY keyboard Bro." or "Try finding a third party keyboard app."...

Hi I am using 3x4 keyboard my self and I am very satisfied with it except that if I have to type the word "common" I would have to wait for the underline to disappear which is expected for a 3x4 keyboard. But i have no problem with space (i have prediction turned off)

i tried searching the forums about this, when found nothing... posted this.
about 3 days ago i bought a Galaxy S4 i337 smartphone from AT&T. the phone is great and all but it seems to have a problem with Hebrew. no matter what i installed from Google store, firmwares or even just tried to change the settings - nothing works with hebrew. theres no hebrew UI and most importantly - it cannot send hebrew messages.
when i download a hebrew keyboard and try to send a message with the phone - it says "Message may be corrupted on recipient device change input mode to automatic".
what can i do to make this Galaxy S4 support hebrew? i figured it has something to do with the input code but i dont know how to change it to Cyrillic or unicode...
would appreciate the help cause i dont want to change here phone to HTC.

my phones: Samsung s4 i9505 with wanamlite's 2.6 xxufnc5 and the for me the best kernel in battery saving Adam 2.3
and new in my gallery, my Samsung s5 g900f with echo rom v1 and the arkenstone Kernel (since 3 days, and i think it's great, but i must optimiz some thinks for me, i love the ondemand govenour from Adam kernel).
now my problems. The s5 its a nice phone but i think its failure frome Samsung like windows vista from microsoft, in german we say it's not completely and nothing half.

at next, the keyboard from s5 is okay, but i search for the old black or dark layout like s4? and the problem on s5 keyboard, if i make a point or , <---- this or other, i must take two times on the space key to make a space?
at next, i hate the sec.settings from s5 is there anyway to make it back like s4?
also that Samsung change some buttons? sorry but i think its gay,

Hi, I just bought my mom a new Galaxy S10+.
Her last phone was LG G4, and we tried every keyboard.
She can't write normally and can't get used to new keyboard.
We tried so many different keyboards from Google play and they don't fit as well..
Is there any way to get LG G4 keyboard into Galaxy S10+?
Or AT LEAST something that identical?
I tried to search all over the internet, including here on XDA, and found only broken and old links that even if I could download them I don't think would be able to work on Android 10..
