will we be able to use a510 ROMs on a500? they already got 5.1.1 and will no doubt get 6.0.0, I feel we will never get 5.1.1 or 6.0.0 so does anyone think we will be able to use the ROMs? I can't see a A510FU ROM but can see a A510F. what's the difference?

Bought a used galaxy tab must say im impressed.
So impressed that im selling my gtab and keeping it!
I rooted it installed Jmi roto firmware.
BUT i dont know if its att tmo or euro i suspect its euro cuz its not branded.
So far i have only been able to install that firmware anything else i try gives me errors in the stock recovery.
Im unable to install cwm cuz those mirrors are all messed up so know im getting frustrated cuz i cant put any other roms on it.
So anybody know how to tell the difference and how do i get another rom on this. ?

Hi im back on the android hype and ive gone and brought a samsung galaxy tab2 GTp5100 (3g version) and im currenly running software 4.0.4 ICS and it says ive not got an update so i want to know how i get jellybean or which ever is the latest software for my tablet (WITHOUT ROOTING) please thanks

Personaly I think Android without root is *** Generally Tab2 have horrible lags and should bee boost by custom modifications...
I recommend you use new custom roms with KK 4.4.2

Easiest way is to just flash a custom recovery with Odin and installing a custom Rom.

No. Sammobile is for official (Samsung) builds. One can use Odin without root. Sammobile even gives the steps to get it done. Achieving root grants you access to ALL files (system and otherwise) so one can flash custom ROM's and other mods. Of course, having that kind of access means you can brick your Tab as well. I really suggest reading as much as you can about root and custom ROM's before you do such a thing. Knowledge is power when it comes to the root game.

I think what we need is a good post with current compatible roms and support for them. I've been running blisspop-UNOFFICIAL but I'd like to change it to an official version of something with more support. I've searched for a while trying to find Roma that work for the zmax.

Hi guys, I rooted my tab but I been trying to find the cyanogen mod rom that I can use on this tab. Anything newer than this 5.1.1 is better I guess.
