How to update my note 3 from miui 4.10.17 to 4.10.24
Sorry for language and question. How can i update my note 3 from miui 4.10.17 to miui 4.10.24. Every time I try, the phone goes to boot and nothing happens. I see jut the logo of samsung galaxy note 3 which goes and come and nothing else. In this point i have to re install the rom again. What to do? Thanks.

I really love MIUI rom on my sn900 note3
but Iam having a problem with my battery
its draining fast from 100 to 95 within 14 minutes screen time
but from 95 to 90 it takes around 20 minutes plus on screen time
Anyone can help me with itu?
Is it because my kernel or anything?

first try your buttons with stock rom. than flash again miui clearly.

but this problem only in MIUI rom

Google Play Service
Hello!
This is the first time that I install the rom, love it soo far but I have a big issue.. Almost every google app notifies me that I must update the Google Play Services in order to work. Then it takes me to the Play Store. I hit update, the download begins, and when it is installing the device suddently reboots.
I try instaling the latest version of the Google Play Service from an apk, but the same thing.. the device rebootes when it is installing..
PS: I've installed the GAPPS provided on the post.
Hope anyone knows the solution..

Grand theft auto LCS running on Galaxy Tab. there was a play store link of the game i wanted to install to my n3n it said not compatible.
when i search this game in play store application i can't find it
do somebody of you know how to make it compatible?
i thought it may be a solution to make the play store thinking to be another device?
although i am on noble rom and build.prop says i have note 5 its not aviable to download

Download it from mob.org. install then move game data to internal storage android/obb

For me its compatible.
Im using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

de-google-ized, S-pen enabled ROM recommendation ?

What are the options for de-google-ized and S-pen compatible ROM for SG Note 3 / SM-G935F? Ideally, Marshmallow based, though Lollipop is OK. Or will it be possible to install CyanogenMod / derivates and add system level s-pen functionality
Currently using Norma v29 / 5.1.1 with too many apps frozen with Titanium Backup / blocked with AFwall+ .

I mean Android without Google-specfic stuff like Google Play store services / Google Contacts Sync / Gmail / etc. For example AOSP-based.

OK - to revive /and conclude/ the thread - whitelist mode with AFWall+ & freezing / uninstalling apps with TitaniumBackup still seems to be the most suitable option for me - not only with Note 3

How to install the rom:
1. Now boot into TWRP by pressing home+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
2. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
3. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
4. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer

why does your rom not work without magisk? I tried every way to remove magisk but each time my system freeze at startup when I uninstall.

I LOVE my Note 7 (original) and have been stuck on Nougat port ROM till I saw your post today and could not believe my eyes.
If anyone else has the link to the file, please share, I can't wait to have 9.0 Pie on my DEAR Note 7

hello, I noticed several problems on the update of the rom:
-the phone application to call plant systematically, it is impossible to use
-The rom is less well optimized than the first version of the rom, slower
-the phone heats faster
Games like fortnite or pokemon go do not work

I am holding off on my install based on this, do you have the original ROM file, can you please share that for me if it doesn't have ant issues?

A big thanks to the OP. This ROM works great on my good old N930F which SAMSUNG never got back. :laugh: Ended up keeping it for free!
After installing Magisk, reinstalling aroma GAPPS and some of the goodies from the Magisk module list (especially the Equinox camera mod) plus the Microsoft Launcher on top, everything works great for me. This puts another year of extended use in my second phone. :good::good::good:

I just got the Samsung A- 71- 5G and in most ways I like the Note 4 better. But I need to be able to use apps made for Android 8 are better. Got any suggestions? This new skin at XDA sure is hard to navigate

Usually you should receive the latest officially available firmware for your device, region and carrier via OTA (over the air).
If you want to check manually, you can use search feature in xda forum or an external tool such as Frija (on a PC).
There you can check and download latest firmware for your device. Then you can flash it with Odin also using a PC and USB cable to your device (as long as the bootloader is unlocked).

Many ROMs are available, according to you Note 4 variant, search XDA & select the one you like:​crDroid / FlokoROM / Havoc-OS / LineageOS​Supported Android Versions: (8.x, 9.x, 10.x, 11.x & even 12.x)

Where would you download roms for FlokoRom and Havoc-OS? I tried LineageOS 18 for trlte (N910V), but mobile network did not work. I also tried Resurrection Remix (Android 9) but mobile connectivity was quite bad. However, after updating modem to latest version using odin, mobile network connectivity improved great deal. Many of the custom roms mentioned in xda threads are no longer accessible and download links lead to 404. Best repository of custom roms seem to be in androidfilehost.com.
