Blu Studio G - Blu Studio 5

Hi guys. I urgently need assistance. I have a Blu Studio G (D5790) in which had been rooted for some time. Was running stock rom. Had not tampered with much. Yesterday there was an OTA update. Upon completion, my phone is now stuck in a loop of Android System Recovery. I've tried hard reset / factory reset to no avail. It continued to boot into android system recovery. It was running Blu_d790_V17_GENERIC_O (or so it says under android system recovery title menu). I am lost as what to do next. I was able to (after hours and hours of research) finally find BLU_D790_V19_GENERIC (which is possibly the update???) now I am totally lost and clueless as what to do next. As I said, all I can do is boot into android system recovery. If someone could please, please help me, tell me what it is I must do now, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm not a complete noob, if you explain it, I can probably figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm willing to donate to the person who can assist me. Stock rom, custom, I don't care, just what do I need to do to get this device functioning again?!? Thanks

I'm sorry to post this and give you false hopes cuz I honestly don't know what to do in your situation however I currently use a blu studio g. How did you achieve root?

Use SP Flash tool and flash the factory rom you have to it if all else fails.
I just tested it.
I'm creating a thread here for our phone....for everything.
Give me time.

[Q] Root gone WRONG!

Okay so today i decide to root my phone. I heard alot about custom roms and other tweaks that make your phone do all this cool stuff. Well i try and download a custom rom, i did use the droid 2 bootstrap, and i believe i backed up on ROM Manager. after that i went and looked at roms and i downloaded Tanzanite ROM. at first i thought i was in a boot loop and i got scared because i rooted my phone last week and downloaded a custom rom wrong and it was in a boot loop. So when i thought this time it was in a boot loop, i hold X and Power button and get recovery options. i factory reset it then rebooted it, it then started up on Tanzanite ROM. I was quite happy with it, then when i try to look at my apps, they are all GONE ! There is no Market and i have no 3G coverage. I was upset and i dont know what to do. I am scared if i do something it will go into a bootloop or i will be stuck with this ROM forever. I NEED HELP ! PLEASE ! i cant afford another phone replacement. Please help me ! Please, experts, people who had this issue, somebody just please help. Thanks.
You're not stuck. There's always SBF.
SBF is your best friend. And a word of advice to you. ALWAYS find out what kind of recovery is out for your phone before you do ANYTHING like rooting or flashing. For Moto phones, SBF is your friend. HTC has RUU's.
Here is the guide to SBF your phone:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770224
(Be sure to get the RSDlite 4.9 and the latest Moto drivers which you can find on Moto's website)
Here is the SBF file to download:

This will get you back to 100% out of the box stock.
Good luck and let us know if you get it fixed. If you have any problems or questions, feel free to PM me.
I fixed the problem. Thanks guys but i would like to know, what is SBF and what does it do? Everytime i do a new ROM i am scared of the outcome. It bootlooped once and got a new one. I will always be scared when my phone re-boots. Alot of feedback i got, has mentioned SBF and i have yet to know what it does and yet to know what it means.
I could be wrong, but I think SBF stands for System Backup File. It basically is a file that came from Motorola. Motorola uses it to get the phone back to its out of the box state, meaning it returns the phone to the same state as when you got it.
You use it if you have no way to fix your phone. As long as you can get into bootloader mode, you should be able to use the SBF. It's actually pretty hard to 100% brick these phones.
Most phone has some sort of recovery utility like this. For example, HTC has RUU (ROM Update Utility) which will do the same thing as an SBF for Moto phones. I don't actually know what other brand phones have, because I've only ever rooted HTC and Moto phones.
Also, when you flash a ROM, you say you bootloop right? Be sure before you flash a new ROM to wipe data and cache in clockwork recovery. This should prevent bootloops.

Try flashing Philz Touch recovery, its the most stable recovery imo. Available for both the I9500 and I9505.Flash the .tar file with Odin in PDA.
I keep getting the message e signature verification failed. i have used auto root. i have enabled usb debugging. i have done everything in the steps of the rooting process and flashing process.
Slight progress
So I downloaded CWM recovery again and toggled off signature verification and I successfully managed to install my ROM. New porblem now, when I reboot the device it goes straight back to recovery mode every single time? Help please?
Hi - so I dont know if you guys think Im being stupid and/or lazy and havent found the right thread or if I am just asking a stupid question. If I am would someone kindly point me in the right direction and forgive my ignorance. If I am not being stupid can someone PLEASE help me with an answer. I have posted on several forums with this question and no one seems prepared to offer a solution. This is by no means a rant at forum members - I just hate being defeated by technology - and I have waited a week now for someone to offer me some much needed guidance.

Very/Ultra Bricked... :( Help!?

[SOLVED] So who wants a challenge? Here we go:
So long story short I formatted date/cache and all that stuff with team win touch recovery. After i found out that i was unable to re-flash a new zip for some reason, I decided to use the nexus root toolkit to try to factory reset.
Anyyyway, somehow Fastboot failed halfway through and now recovery is gone with everything else. The only thing i can get into is the bootloader mode....
My device is still listed as a fastboot device, but when i try to re-run the 'flash-to-stock from bricked' mode i get this: (see attached picture)
Please help, I honestly have been working on this for days, but i simply do not know enough to fix it! I have also been on this site for some time, but i have not been able to find a solution.....
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
-Nick
EDIT- So I solved my problem, but i have no real explanation as to why it worked. I literally tried it over and over and over, then it eventually worked. Sooooooo your guess is as good as mine!

stuck at the logo screen

I know my question will seem kinda silly to most of you, but, to be honest, I have no prerequisite knowledge on ROMs, rooting, modding, any of that.
I did tried to root my phone on the ZUI and succeeded, thanks to Google. But then I tried to update my ZUI OTA. At this point Im stuck at the ZUK logo screen. I cannot shut down the phone, only reboot. I can sometime manage to get into the screen where you can update via SD card (but it did not work).
All I desperately want now is to restore everything to its normal state and not brick my phone. Could anyone please please help?
I do know now that if you root the phone, you should not update it OTA, but I wished I knew sooner.

Help flashing and rooting Chinese S5 SM-G9006V

Ok guys, I'm really confused. I got this phone from a friend and the backstory was that it was once rooted and running a custom rom with google play apps, but someone did a hard reset or something and it went back to stock, which is hard to believe, but that's what they're telling me. If the info is correct, that means someone successfully flashed it at some point.
I found this guide https://www.lineageosroms.org/forums/forum/samsung/galaxy-s5-china-sm-g9006v-sm-g9008v-kltechn/ and got stuck right away. I can't get TWRP to work. Odin says it's done, but all I get is the stock recovery.
I found multiple threads about this phone, but it's all very confusing to say the least and I don't know where to begin with. I hope there's someone here using it who can give me some pointers as to how I can flash this thing.
Thanks in advance.
EUREKA! I've done it. All i had to do is uncheck the auto reboot option and use the key combination for entering recovery while still in the download mode. That got me to TWRP and I was able to successfully flash the rom and gapps.
Hope that info is useful to someone else.
