Ported apps for non-root Nexus 6P - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone
I have been looking for ages to find the following ported apps for my nexus devices (recently moved to Nexus 6P), however unable to find them. Can you guys help me here?
1. HTC dialer and people app
2. HTC clock widgets (I love the main analog clock and world clock widgets by HTC, the design as well as the fact that they turn white/gray based on whether it is day/night)
3. Xperia Z5 digital clock widget
Both the above have apks that require HTC home to run. I want to use them while using Nova prime as my main launcher. Any solution to this? Maybe themes for Zooper widget that mimics the same look? I have searched and searched and couldn't find it.
Appreciate all the help, thanks.

Here you can download the patched HTC Apps

Thanks, but they do not work without htc launcher

For those comging from HTC and missing Sense widgets

Hi all, having recently come to the Galaxy S3 from many years of using HTC devices (HTC HD2, HTC Desire S, HTC Sensation), I realised I really missed 1 or 2 widgets which were useful to me. These included Friendstream and Calender/agenda.
Reading around a bit, I discovered 'Android Pro Widgets' in the google play store... these are awesome alternative scrollable widgets which are an excellent alternative to the above.
Finally, for those who havnt tried it, Apex launcer works briliantly in the S3 - feels much slicker to me than Touchwiz and has the added bonus of having scrollable wallpaper! (Intall Quick pic from play store if you want to use scrollable wallpaper to install the wallpaper otherwise gallery forces you to crop your selected image messing up the desired scroll effect.)
Hope someone finds this of use, a 'Thanks' would be appreciated if so.
Cheers
Thanks for the Heads up Missed the scrollable people widget badly, glad I got a version of it back on my Galaxy S III.
I will give them a go , thanks
I've been using these on my Desire as I'd switched to an AOSP rom. They work great with one exception. The bookmarks widget always misses the last bookmarked site off. I have to create a dummy site to get it to show. Could you confirm if this happens on the S3?

You can get a modded touchwiz launcher that allows for wallpaper scrolling and also has alternative home sizes if you want it.
Search for it, quite easily

Level up turned Beautiful Widgets into Ugly Widgets? Any alternatives?

Hey all,
So seeing as level up have ruined beautiful widgets, does anyone know of any good alternatives?
Most if not all of the clocks and weather themes I used are gone, and the clocks are low rez, lose time,
and the Home weather widget is gone. The weather part of the app is ugly and poorly designed now too.
So i'm trying to find some clock widgets to replace it as I am furious they took an app I loved and replaced it with
an abomination lol.
Cheers.
I actually prefer the new version of BW. Using the HTC One X theme found on the theme market
But I see that HD Widgets is pretty up there in popularity. Not a fan of it though.

Thanks I will take a look. More than anything I need one that keeps time, which this one it seems still doesn't
I am annoyed because almost all the themes left for the clocks are exactly the same, all the home weather one's I liked, unless i'm not looking properly like angry birds, are gone, and the app is now slow and laggy.
Guess it's all down to personal preference but I just wish they would offer the old version.

HD Widgets looks excellent I might have to give it a go. Although I'm reluctant to give another Dev my cash, they
are editors choice on the play market, and I guess I could backup the .apk in case it is updated in future
Cheers.

Hit the thanks button if I helped I bought BW when it was on sale so I'm not too crazed about it, idk I like the improvement of BW 5.0 doesnt feel laggy at all, especially not on the N4.
I have both HD Widgets and Beautiful Widgets. There are a lot more style choices in HD Widgets. HD Widgets also allows you to customize the look of the widget more than BW.

I used The 4x1 Weather widget in Beautiful widgets with the SimpleSolid skin. But when the 5.0 update came, it made the icons in the widget bigger and due to that they don't fit into the 4x1 space properly anymore. Parts of the images get cut off because they extend outside the widget boundaries.
I had to switch to another skin that uses much smaller icons but I really liked the SimpleSolid skin and will probably explore alternative widget options.
I have both and I prefer HD widgets because I don't have to search for widget themes as you can edit the widgets through the app and HD widgets has switches that I use a lot.

Different Lockscreens?

Hey guys,
I really love Omnirom on my Find 5 and I'm a fan of the simplicity in Vanilla Android. But there is one thing bothering me: I think the Vanilla-Android-Lockscreen is kinda boring. Is there a possibility to get a different one in Omnirom? For example I like the lockscreen on OnePlus One's Cyanogenmod 11s.
There are custom lockscreen available in play store in case you don't already know.

Yes, I do know that but I didn't find a single one that worked perfectly fine. With some, the battery consumption is higher, others unlock when you press the home button and every single one shows Omnirom's lockscreen for a second when waking up the phone.
Just download widgets and add them to the lockscreen. Problem solved? I have the dashclock widget with a whole bunch of addons. Perfect for me.

[Req] Xperia weather widget for Nexus?

Helle there
I have been searching for years (since I sold my old xpera neo V).
I saw the xperia launcher has been ported, so this widget can be used, but I don't want to change my launcher (Nova).
So the question is: is there somewhere this weather widget (nice and animated) that can be used on any launcher?
ps: the same for nexus 7 will be great too

Have you tried Transparent Weather Clock developed by droid27? Search for it in the Play Store. It's similar to your screenshots.
Thank you for your answer, but this widget seems very different.
And one thing I don't understand with all these weather widgets: why a clock and why so big!? Everywhere, I look at weather widgets, the main part is a big clock. Illogical! If i want a clock, I d/l a clock widget. Don't you?

Nexus 6 launcher?

Does anybody know how i can get Nexus 6's launcher onto the Note 4. I install Google Now launcher and it gives me a 4x4 grid. But all the Nexus 6 vids show a 5x5 grid utilising the resolution properly. Is it some modified Google now launcher? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm not here to boast about anything Note or Nexus related. I just like that launcher and am just very curious. Thanks.
Did you long press on the screen and then modified your settings, if i remember correctly you can change it from there, another option its to use a launcher like Nova wich its my favorite, for some weird reason google now launcher drains my battery fast :-/

I know of XposedGEL I was looking thanks stefantumi. I was looking for a method that wouldn't require root though. Honestly I thought Google just made it dependent on the screen resolution really or if anything it's a different apk that could be easily extract-able and honestly I'm kind of surprised nobody else has brought this up yet I guess I'm just picky.
Nova launcher was my first thought too pikul, and I AM running it on a 5x5 grid. I'll try extracting the apk from the factory image of the nexus 6 and see if i can install that.
