[lenovo a6000] [1gb ram] [lag solved] - Lenovo A6000/Plus Questions & Answers

IF anyone is facing lag in a6000 with 1gb ram, just uninstall clean master adn clear dalvik cache reboot
and it will fast as ever
i am using cm12.1 32bit

Android kitkat was very smooth and stable. I regret upgrading to lollipop. My a6000 is very slow and lags a lot. I did factory reset and wiped the cache but it's still slow.

Im using cm 13 running on 6.01 but still laggy ,any tools fix that???

does clearing dalvik cache will not cause any problems to phone ??
data deletion etc.
is it safe ???

Updating to CM 6.0.2.1

I noticed in the Thread for CM6 that someone said after the update, they lost more memory.
I received an update notification from Clockwork advising that there was an update to 6.0.2.1
Now being a newb to all of this... do I just run the update? or will I need to do a full recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik?
(by the way, sorry if this has been asked... how do you wipe Dalvik cache, and what is Dalvik cache?) once again... sorry if i r dumb!
Will I have less space? Will I have to reinstall all of my apps again? What are the pros and cons of updating to 6.0.2.1?
Im currently running 6.0.0 without any issues other than the GPS taking a long time to locate.
You can just update from Rom Manager if you want. Just make sure that you have about 60-70 MB of free space before you upgrade, you will have stability issues and a low space warning if you have less. The update seems to run fine, but if you don't have the space and CM6 is running fine for you, I would say that you aren't missing a whole lot, just stay where you are.
If you end up installing, just wipe the cache and dalvik cache (in clockwork: advanced>wipe dalvik cache). After that you can just run the update and you shouldn't lose anything. I believe in the new update the dalvik cache is moved to the memory (or something like that lol), so if you're running severly low on memory, you should probably stick with what you have. If you have it, however, this new version is supposedly more stable, and might fix you gps problem.

[Q] Is that ICS Bug or Kernal Bug?

well i tested some roms like slim ics, dark night, aokp and gamerz. But i seen one similar issue which i was facing and it irritates me alot . The problem is when i installing some apps the phone becomes slow. Even when i press the menu button it will open slowly and touch sensitvity becomes lag. Is everybody facing this issue please let me know
Have you tried to wipe cache, dalvik cache and data?
Do you restore your apps from Titanium Backup? That could be the problem if you made the backup when you were on Gingerbread.

Every time i will do wipe/factory settings, wipe cache, dalvik cache and data. Rom runs extra ordinary at the first time after using some days, the phones becomes slow when i touch on menu button it will opens very slow and i checked the ram the phone is using only 200mb rest 140mb is free.
I didn't restore any apps from titanium. For every new rom i will install new apps from Google Play.

[q] bluetooth peculiar issue

I had installed AOKP ICS ROM, in which theres a bluetooth not working issue, then I did davlik and cache wipe and installed AURORA 4.1a Over it.. Evrything was smooth except Blutooth continued to be non functional. Now I again did the double wipe and installed ELORA over it, and the Blutooth is still an issue. Is there any way to correct this without a complete wipe?
Hello jy0thish,
i think you can not avoid a full wipe. Every rom is different and if you don not delete the data it will cause problems with other roms.Thats why u need to do a full wipe before installing a new rom, You can backup SMS and contacts with SuperBackup and apps with TitaniumBackup. If the full wipe wipe is not the solution, than flash the gingerbread update by Huawei again, so you have a clean phone and try it again .
good luck

It's possible you will wait until the cache for system apps is regenerated but otherwise you should be fine.
I have a similar question, if the system gets sluggish, I also noticed sometimes it just hangs when rebooting, in TWRP is it good to Wipe Dalvik periodically?
Is there also any Cache cleaning to do in the Mi A1?
I dont think you need to clean cache. I use this phone for a half year and it was always smooth as new device and Im heavy user.

Well I'm stress testing the crap out of the phone with ROMS, and some of the times, I noticed a lot of sluggish running, but it could of also been bugs I was seeing too. I was just trying to eliminate various possibilities, so Dalvik was one I was considering...
