GioNEE e7 16gb soft-brick - GiONEE Elife E7

Hey everyone, let me first of all say, that I am a noob when it comes to android (I'm using iphone) but my father got a gionee e7 recently and didn't liked how it looked and stuff. To the point, I tried putting a custom ROM on it but everytime I try, CWM gives Section 7 error. I read that if u remove the asserts from the script file it fixes it, but there weren't any asserts lines in any of the files. I tried at least 4 different ROMs, even tried stock rom with QCOM tools but nothing works. Currently, the phone is stuck at the Elife logo and that's it. Before I could access CWM from there but now i can't even do that. Any help is appreciated, if you need any info, just post a reply.
Thanks a bunch, and once again ,sorry, a big noob on android here.
Edit: I forgot to mention, CWM was in chinese so i messed around with it a bit. i went to advanced then clicked recovery or something, the phone turned off and i haven't been able to get to CWM since.

Still no solution, anyone?

Problem with Baldoz Rom 5.0 in Developers Part!

Hi there an good evening. I have a major problem with the Custom Rom Baldoz Rom5.0, just released today.
I cant post in the developers thread, cause i dont have 10 posts, sadly. So i need to post it herer
Just downloaded it, disabled lagfix via CWM (Darkys Rom9.5) and wiped. After this i installed the new rom. Looks good in the first place. But im not satisfied with the performance so i tried to get back to Darkys via CWM, but now i have the problem:
Its not possible via the 3-key method to go into recovery. Just stucks at Galaxy s IT9000 and didnt go any further.
Removed battery, but that didnt solve anything.
Hope, u can help me. Would be great
Try to go in recovery mode using extended Power menu
The same here! Stuck and missing appz

[Q] Bricked Tattoo

Hi guys, last month i receive an old tattoo from my sister. I was trying to update it to CyanogenMod 7 using the official guide in the cyanogenmod wiki, but for some reason it wasn't working. It gave me a lot of errors and i started looking other methods (note: rooted it before trying anything).
I think that the tattoo had something weird, cuz nothing was working. I couldn't install the clockworkmod recovery (also giving errors) so i installed another recovery called the maverick's recovery. I heard it couldn't install CM7, but i tried it anyway.
As expected, it didn't work, so i thought i could use another rom with froyo or something. I was derping around in the recovery when i saw another .zip file on the sd (not cm7). I dont know what it was, but i (yay im stupid) tried installing it anyway.
Of course, it bricked the phone
Currently, the tattoo doesn't boot, the fastboot doesn't boot, and, the recovery doesn't boot. I made a full backup at the start of all this process, but dunno what to do. I think there's no solution, but you guys are the best on this so i hope you can do something

Try flashing Philz Touch recovery, its the most stable recovery imo. Available for both the I9500 and I9505.Flash the .tar file with Odin in PDA.
I keep getting the message e signature verification failed. i have used auto root. i have enabled usb debugging. i have done everything in the steps of the rooting process and flashing process.
Slight progress
So I downloaded CWM recovery again and toggled off signature verification and I successfully managed to install my ROM. New porblem now, when I reboot the device it goes straight back to recovery mode every single time? Help please?
Hi - so I dont know if you guys think Im being stupid and/or lazy and havent found the right thread or if I am just asking a stupid question. If I am would someone kindly point me in the right direction and forgive my ignorance. If I am not being stupid can someone PLEASE help me with an answer. I have posted on several forums with this question and no one seems prepared to offer a solution. This is by no means a rant at forum members - I just hate being defeated by technology - and I have waited a week now for someone to offer me some much needed guidance.

[Q] EMERGENCY - Lost kernel and rom, can I recover?

So super sorry for this one, but 9 hours of trying has left me no choice but to beg for help and I am running out of time to search for the solution.
Ok, I have softbricked my s5360B, foolishly I didn't make a rom and/or kernel backup before I tried messing around with my phone, I was trying to simply network unlock my device, I return back to the UK from Brasil on Saturday and I need an operational phone so I can get home.
I settled on using JellyBlast rom for my installation but after running into installation errors like (status 7) and later on a (status 0) I got frustrated and tried installing any of the .zip files (JVBota1signed.zip and filetypes similar to). And I think I messed up badly - the phone when booting has the original 'samsung galaxy y s5360b' screen but does not move past it, at one point it flicked back an to from this splash screen and Vivo (brasil network carrier) but now it does not. I still can boot into CWM recovery (v6.0.4.9) which is a good sign I think.
As a mac user I am a little adversed to using Odin - Windows 7 via Parallels recognizes the phone and begins installation of stuff, but hangs up at 'setup connection', so I think I need a solution that I can use just the SD card for. I need a fix as quick as possible - I have only 2 days left here and during that time I have to say my forever goodbyes to my love.
Bottom line - I need my phone operational ASAP - I don't care about what version of rom or kernel it is running (be it factory stock or custom), just so long as I can be network/carrier unlocked. If you have a viable solution for me can you please post links to downloads for the files I need? And if there is any more complexity than 'install this then this' then I may struggle. What do I do?
Really appreciate the efforts of the community, thanks guys!

The rom you mentioned is a banned rom
You have 2 options
Option 1
If you can get into recovery mode (Vol up home button power button)
Download any stock based custom rom
Go into cwm
Format system data cache
Mount system data cache
Flash rom zip
Assuming that you are using a stock based kernel it will boot
Option 2
Flash stock rom via odin
See my firmware thread link in my signature
Note you can use standard 5360 firmware instead of the b variant which may be better
Posting to say I didn't get the phone to work still, but I got home without too much trouble. needless to say this thread is no longer an emergency.
I want to express my gratitude to you guys for helping me out, thank you so very much.
Unfortunately as I say the phone does still not work -
With multiple attempts using ODIN I keep getting the hangup at 'setup connection' - I tried on mac via parallels (windows 7) and a windows 8 machine.
I can successfully install a ROM via CWM but the phone gets stuck in a boot loop (samsung galaxy y splash screen) so I'm guessing I have a kernel problem? When I try flashing a new kernel I get the "error mounting /sd-ext!" message, and the same when I try to format it via CWM. I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1750888, but I cannot boot the phone so I guess I'm stuck.
My last install attempt was these
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2462914 - V3LenoxEvolution ---- SUCCESSFUL INSTALL.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2644262 - Blackheart kernel ---- FAILED, error mounting /sd-ext
Got any other ideas guys? Or do you know where I'm going wrong?
I think I'm in way over my head :s
Many thanks once again!
EDIT: some additional information, I cannot reboot to bootloader, and as far as I can tell I can't replace the custom recovery CWM v6 (I find a different version, boot into CWM v6, click install .zip from sd card and say CWM v5 launches, but when I reboot it's back to v6)
Flash stock rom via odin....
Flashing other diffrent ROM packages won't help until you have right bootable kernel...
So put your efforts towards making it to boot up on a stock firmware....
By ODIN mode
Try installing drivers and checking that no other device is connected to pc via USB.
Also make sure you follow the guide properly....
Then post errors ...or try google...
We'll help...

Hard bricked. Please help.

Hello guys, it's time to post new thread. I bricked my G2 really hard. And I'm very pissed of TWRP. So lets explain i was on stock lollipop (pretty nice seen it for last time)... When i decided to go back to CM12 . I had root and twrp and a nice backup of my CM12 system. Everything cool... I started restoring my system again everything was fine until i booted. It showed secure booting error. However i followed this giude. I fond the needed files from Lollipop. All 4 files and TWRP. I installed ubuntu and started doing the job. After flashing everything was looking good until i started the device it showed this white screen giving this errors. On PC it's recognized as LG Modem... I can realize it's really fuc*ed up, but i would like any help. I don't find necessary to say that i need help very fast because you know the battery is going to drain soon. So please help me. Thanks.
