Snooze delay - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
The default snooze time of the original alarm app that came with the edge+ is too short... Is it possible to edit it / increase it to ten minutes?
Thanks in advance!

hi I only know a third party app that does exactly what you want, android doesn't let you choose custom snooze time, however you can use this excellent app that I am using too, check

[REQ] WM alarm app

Hi
I don't know if you've seen the birthday feature of YOTA contacts. Well, I was thinking if someone could make a small app using that feature to set alarm in WM. First row showing WEEKDAYS, second row HOUR, third row MINUTES.

Using Clock with Dated Alarm

Guys,
Is it me or is there no way to set a smart alarm on the SGS for a particular date?

It's only a "smart" alarm, not a "prodigy" or "genious" alarm.
I think you're stuck with setting alarms for a week ahead at most. Unless there's a way to make a calendar entry trigger a smart alarm in some way.
Thanks..... Just needed to make sure I was not missing something.
Shame though that Samsung did not add an ability to have a 'Smart Alarm' or normal Alarm from inside the Clock App with date selection.
Using the calendar to set an Alarm is nothing and I mean nothing compared to the dedicated Clock Alarm App.

Calendar and Alarm questions

Couple of questions on Nexus 4 that I couldn't find with searching:
1. Do calendar events trigger the LED notification light? Either with or without a 3rd party app like Light Flow?
2. How does snooze show up when the regular clock alarm goes off? On my Galaxy S3, it's kind of silly because you drag one way to dismiss and another way to snooze. Very easy to miss and choose the wrong option early in the morning when you're groggy. Would be nicer to have big bold buttons - one for snooze and one for dismiss. Or have the side button set to snooze. Etc.

Stock Calendar snooze duration

Is there any way to edit the snooze duration in the stock calendar app? I was able to choose between different amounts of time before on my S5, but can't seem to find a setting option for the S7 Edge.

I am also looking to change the samsung calendar default reminder time. It appears to be locked down to 5 min and no place to change that default snooze time. I also had an S5 on lollipop and was able to change the default snooze reminder time.

Is it possible to change the default clock?

Alright, so I got a galaxy S8 on Sunday (coming from a OP5 which didn't satisfy me at all) but I just can't figure out how to change the default clock.
I set up my alarm using Google Assistant (it's just easier, I first turn off my lights with the Assistant then setup my alarm and I'm done) but it defaults to the Samsung app although I have Google's installed.
Also, I set it at 5.42 so I can snooze it twice and get up at 6 am for University, except the default snooze is set at 5 minutes (against my defaultI9 minutes) and I can't snooze it more than twice (the only option I then see (after two snoozes) is to disable the alarm).
How am I supposed to change it to Google's clock or change settings in the app?
Thank you guys and have a good one!
You can set snooze details when you create the individual alarm to whatever you want...
