Hi,
I have a problem with viber free calls. When I make a call to someone, that person answer it but my phone still showing "ringing", and I can hear it's still ringing. Other person hear nothing. It's the same other way around. Somebody make a call to me, I answer it but can't hear anything. On other person's phone it's still ringing.
Tried reinstall app a few times but it wasn't help. Activation always went fine with viber code. Viber's messages working fine.
I'm on stock COS with all updates.

I'm on cm nightlies, but I too have the microphone problem in Viber. Simply doesn't work. Same thing in hangouts.

I already ask this question to lot of people in my country.Most of them got this problem.
So the problem occur when I already on call with someone. And another one call me. Normally we will hear the notification sound(sort beep) yes that fine, But the problem is the one that i talk to also hear this notification too. anyone hear got this problem too?. and moreover my friend told me that not only the in coming notification but all notification from phone can hear by the one which to too.
Someone may say never mind for this problem but I serious in my privacy.
So anyone can solve this problem?
I am having a issue where someone will call me and for them it will ring till voicemail, but the call wont register on my phone that it recieves a call, so the person will have to call me a couple of times to finally have my phone register the call.
I am curious if this is a issue with tmobile or just my phone. It doesnt happen all the time, but when it does its kind of annoying. And its been happening on multiple builds, be it desire, miui, or gingerbread. I am not sure if there is a possible fix for this or not, but if anyone else has this issue feedback would be awsome

if you are using a sense rom maybe you turned on "blocked callers"?
right now i am using a miui rom. and block callers would still register on my phone, it would just take a few tries so it wouldnt be a blocked caller

Clean installed with TWRP with phone setup as new.
1. When I call someone through viber app and or receive a call through viber, speaker phone is always on and I cannot turn it off. Has anyone else have this issue and resolved it or is it some settings that I may have mistakenly ticked off?
See the attached screen shot of the viber call and you will notice that the speaker icon it greyed out and it is always greyed out. I cannot turn it off as it is greyed out.
Please help????

Hello, hannah187. I had the same issue. Just reinstall Viber and the problem will be gone. I just don't know for how long.
I'm a bit worried because I've never had such problem with the stock ROM. It's important to keep this topic alive until we have a real fix.

First of all, my issue is fixed now but strange fact is I did not reinstall viber. It's just fixed now. I understand that code does not lie so perhaps I have changed some settings which may have fixed it but honestly I do not know.
I know that when I did a clean install of this ROM, viber was working correctly and I have checked it. After couple of days, I can no longer make viber call through ear piece. I only can use speaker phone.
I do not think I have changed any settings, but viber now seems to work as expected and I can make viber phone calls normally as well as through speaker phone. I do not know how this has happened.
Well it seems that I have spoken too soon. From last night, viber speaker phone icon is again greyed out, in other words, I can only make the Viber phone calls through the speaker phone and no ways to disable it. Back to square one.

I have similar issue with the latest version of viber at my samsung galaxy s4 i9505 android 5.0.1
When i receive or make a call with phone NOT viber the speaker turns on itself until i press the speaker two times so i hear the call not from the speaker.
I understand that it was viber fault because when i completely uninstall the viber never had this issue again.
So is there any solution so we can have viber installed without that kind of issues?
Hey everyone, I have an incredibly annoying issue:
when answering calls from certain callers my microphone will not to work. They can't hear me no matter what and it's repeatable.
If I call them back, it starts working. Many other callers can always hear me fine instead.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I used nearly every firmware (stock & cm), but i always have the problem, that I can't get calls.
After reboot it works a while, then its dead again.
I really don't know why that happens... I can call and SMS & Data are working. I just can't receive calls.
How can i solve this problem?

What exactly is the symptom? You can't answer a call when the phone is ringing?
I just installed Google Play Edition on I9505 in an attempt to get rig of cm14.1 bugs but on this rom the phone doesn't ring when someone calls me. There is no missed call notification but I can see a missed call in a call history.

Exactly like yours, it doesnt ring, no notification. I get a message from provider, that someone called me and leaved message.
If i try to call the s4, it doesnt ring, i get directly forwarded to the mailbox.
Have you tried a total manual wipe with formatting of every partition and then installing a stock rom?
