Hi All,
I am currently having Micromax Canvas Colours A120 smart phone and it comes with 4GB ROM, 8MP Rear Camera and 5MP Front Camera. Recently i had been upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 with FOTA updates and now my phone front camera has been changed to 2MP. Many of the initial phones come with 5MP front camera.
Can anybody please provide me the Stock Rom with 5MP front camera.
Please do the needful.

Thanks @promo87. But is this ROM comes with 5MP front camera configuration ? because many of the devices has 2MP front camera where mine was 5MP front camera. Can you please confirm. Thanks.
Can anyone make google camera with hdr+ work on zenfone 3 ze520kl/ze552kl. Tried every version and each config settings inside the app. Even redmi note 4 supports it but zenfone 3 don't, despite of having a good sensor

I tried all the settings but some weired reason it works in dark room and macro with flash on. In other situations it gave me fc.
Settings:
Back camera support- limited
Device nexus -6p
Hdr pricessing- pixel experimental features

im using viper os and enabled camera2api also. I switched to custom rom only the google camera to work but that didn't help. Still fc on hdr+ processsing.

Might be an issue with the viper rom then, I've had no issues wit hdr+ enabled and stock settings.
Have you tried the stock Rom to eliminate that as a possibility?

bro ive tried on stock rom but didn't work so I switched to a custom rom but didn't work either. Btw hdr+ works when the config shows in bottom of the screen like(pixel experimental features). And taping on preview it shows hdr+ processing. If it clicks with no shutter delay and no popup then its normal image not hdr+ processed.
If working for someone then what are the settings. Keep in mind that I'm talking about hdr+ processed photos, not just normal captures. When it shows processing on the screen after u tap the shutter button then its hdr+ processed if not then its just a normal image.
I see it takes pictures @ 12Mp (4:3) instead of 16Mp.
Also, I don't think HDR (or ZSL) settings make a difference...
The picture I've taken with Google Camera are grainier (especially shadows) than with Asus, using 12Mp settings in both.

hey bro I know the camera app is working just like google camera but the problem is that it isn't working with hdr+ . When hdr+ processes the image it takes seconds and looks different than normal shot(Tried with my brother's oneplus 3t). Some people on youtube are claiming that it works(with hdr+ processing) in redmi note 4(snapdragon 625 variant).

ya bro not making any difference since it gives fc on hdr+ processing. If the photo is not hdr processed then its a normal picture. i've tried how the hdr+ works on my brother's oneplus 3t. the difference is very noticeable.
I installed the apk on my ze552kl running stock nougat with latest update. I keep getting force close when I open google camera. Is this a known issue in general and is there a fix/workaround?
edit: did some reading and this seems to be related to the ambient lighting when you turn on the camera. if you're in a well lit area the camera will work, when i pan towards a darker place (or open the camera in a darker place) the camera immediately FC's

Dont know if that's the case but thanks for the help. It worked for some weired reasons when flash is on for macro in full dark room. Apart from that hdr+ seems to be don't working for me. Also tried with stock rom with/without camera2api enabled, still no good

no, GCMod5 dont work on ZenFone 3 after oreo update. GCMod5 uses a maximum resolution of 9,4 megapixels, but the stock asus camera app uses a maximum resolution of 16/12 megapixels.

yes, it works, but doesnt have a resolution of 16 and 12 megapixels.

i found something on the internet that google cam cannot detect resolution above 9.4 because pixel 2 only have 12mp rear cam

he is talking about front camera dude. There's still no stable gcamv6 for our device
Hopefully some devs ports it soon to the device. Its a bit of a hit or miss because theres no one porting it currently. Or at least i believe at this moment.

Yes, you can use stock camera, other camera apps (eg Instagram and snapchat etc.)
I have a problem with this port. HDR processing stops halfway or in 3/4 of process and the picture doesn't get saved. I tested few versions on clean installation of the newest Arrow OS and Havoc OS. It's useless and I have to stick with stock PIE beta. If the HDR would work I could use this for back cam and stock camera port for front and I would be good to go on custom roms. If this won't work, its still a dealbreaker for me...

I have'nt see the update, i maked sommes photos and i see a very bad quality on focus and the zoom 4x and 5x is digital... you have optical zoom after 10x onli and you see a big diference betuen 9.9x to 10x zoom...

Try to cover tehe tele cam with your finger and tel me ... focus on objects at 50_60cm
If you dont cover the tele cam you dont see it

When you go up to 10x it changes sensor and uses 108mpx for telephoto
Of course this is not made to focus on stuff 1 meter from the camera
Try using it in real conditions...

He is wrong.108mp camera is just for up to x4 zoom.All above that is telephoto.Don't spread wrong informations.Yea sure sansung will put PERISCOPE camera of 48mp and than use main camera for over x10 focus what a genius ? The deal is that up to(from x1 to x5 is pure otpical zoom)10x is hybrid zoom it uses both periscope and main camera for above x10 times its only periscope without main camera.Al above 10 zoom is only periscope camera and its just croping not zoom.But keep in mind if you zoom x3 it will be only main camera croping you cant zoom less than 5x times wtih periscope.
Seems OK here on unlocked USA version.
Will be testing some more to see.
I didn't even reset settings/clear cache.
I'm glad I didn't get Exynos. Usually do for unlockable BL and custom roms but I'm over that now.
I still have older Exynos phones I can do that with.
And my personal numbers are on Verizon so there's that.
The new update made this camera worse! If they don't have this camera figured out soon, I'm getting rid of my Ultra.
For 4x - 9.9x, if you're focusing a relatively close object, it will use the main camera, but if you focus something far away, it will use the telephoto camera. At least, that's the behaviour I'm having (ATCT firmware / camera version 10.0.03.2).

Return it. Or import the snapdragon model. I haven't had those issues. Camera is almost perfect apart from some poor HDR processing at times.
Text has always been an issue with this phone.
It has a very narrow range of focus.

I am considering the Oneplus 8 Pro, but am a little worried about the selfie cam. Will not be using it much, but sometimes it's nice to be able to snap a selfie. Reviews I have seen are showing that the picutres are OK, but the colours are off (too white/bright). Especially indoors. I noticed the changelog for the August firmware update included "selfie cam improvements" so was wondering if there is any noticable improvement?

Workaround would be to use GCam.

Is it much better with the GCam app? I could wait for 8t but I doubt that one has wireless charging.
Can someone maybe post an example with gcam and normal in terms of selfie?
