How can you tell apart the North America model and that of the rest of the world? - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

On Huawei website they list two variants, North America (A1) and the rest of the world (A2)
North America version (A1)
LTE: 2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/25/26/29/30/41
UMTS: 1/2/4/5/8
CDMA: BC 0/1/10
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
Rest of World version (A2)
LTE: 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9/17/19/20/28/38/39/40/41
UMTS: 1/2/4/5/6/8/9/19
TD-SCDMA: 34/39
CDMA: BC 0/1
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900
How could you tell which model you have -given it's been bought from an online retailer that ships worldwide?
Thanks in advance!

Does US version of LG Nexus 5 work in Denmark(EU)

Hello guys
I'am going to get myself the new Nexus 5 in the nearest future, but I'am wondering if I can use a US model here in Denmark with the different LTE bands. I don't have much knowledge about this myself, but I do know that there's a difference
- So can you tell me if I can use 4g LTE in Denmark with a US version of LG Nexus 5. And is there anything I need to look out for if I import a US version to EU in general?
2G/3G/4G LTE
North America:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
CDMA: Band Class: 0/1/10
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19
LTE: Bands: 1/2/4/5/17/19/25/26/41
Rest of World:
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8
LTE: Bands: 1/3/5/7/8/20
I'm not an expert but, is not enough have the same gsm frequency?

LTE bands difference between NA version and rest of the world?

Greetings,
I am gonna pre-order a Nexus 6P and I want to know if there r any difference between NA version and others...
I am on China Unicom, which is using FDD Band 3...
Do all versions support B3?
Thanks!
This is what the Australian product page gives us:
GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
UMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/6/8/9/19
TD-SCDMA: 34/39
CDMA: BC0/1
LTE (FDD): B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9/17/19/20/28
LTE (TDD): B38/B39/40/41
AndroidPolice have an article on the US model too, and quote the below:
Nexus 6P
GSM/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
UMTS/WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8
CDMA: BC0/1/10
LTE (FDD): B1/2/3/4/5/7/12/13/17/20/25/26/29
So you should be all fine with whatever version.

Nexus 6p Global and American Edition ?

Per site http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_nexus_6p-7588.php. I was looking at the supported bands for the nexus 6p. It's said there is an American and Global verison. Is this true ? If so, is the google play store selling the american version? The american version is selling the one that has 1700 band. Which only t-mobile uses
I presume if you order the phone from US store you will get the US version... I live in Canada and ordered the phone from US to get the free $50 Google Play card.
I believe so. Also the USA version actually has way more LTE bands than the International version AFAIK

Try to repeat that again in your head.
And think "Why would the NA version have more bands than the Int. version?".
So no, the Int. version has waaaay more bands than the NA version.

Hi. Does anyone know if the American version works with Vodafone UK 4g? I had 4g reception only at a Vodafone store (they've got a signal boost), nowhere else can't get 4g...
This may sound dumb but, can I somehow make the 6P American model to work on band 38(2600) INTL?

No. If the hardware doesn't support a specific band, then there's no way to make it work.
there are no difference, just use US version if you're in US. If you're outside, any version will be OK.
I used my US Nexus 6P while in Dubai and I had LTE. I think you should just get the US Version if you live in the US especially if you want to use Project Fi so that the phone can connect to the sprint and T-Mobile networks properly.

How about the other way around? I have the possibility to get an US version while visiting the States, but then I'll be back in Europe and the US version doesn't have the 20LTE band, which is the most common in EU. I'm worried it'll have an impact in the LTE reception and speed. Anyone uses an US version in Eu? How is it? I see there was another person in the UK asking the same bit got no definitive answer. Thanks,
Blah...... Go with the version that fits your carrier, common sense

Where are you getting these model numbers? The model number that comes on the 6P box is H1511 for North America & H1512 for International.
