I am currently using a TMO D801 LG G2 and received "Booting Error" below the LG logo and was then stuck in a boot loop. It happened to me after updating to Lollipop 5.0.2 and installing AutoRec.apk. This is the TWRP recovery program that you can install like any other app after rooting your LG G2. The cause for the problem is that I accidentally installed the AutoRec.apk for firmware's 4.x.x and not for Lollipop 5.0.x.
TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING DOWNLOAD & INSTALL '(D801) LG G2 AutoRec-Lollipop' FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE :good:

Fix Booting Error:
Download Load LG Flash Tool 2014 and run & install

I've tried to flash my lg g2 d802 with CM 11 with TWRP recovery
after 5 minutes is says : "fail"
I selected reboot system the phone stuck on the lg logo and the phone won't boot
then I've wipe everything
tried to boot the phone the phone won't boot
then i read a thread on XDA : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
via "terminal command" method and the phone won't boot
then I booted the phone into download mode and downloaded kdz file then i tried to use the flash-tool and I have the "lg drivers" and also "lg-mobile support tool"
then the flash-tool is not responding :/
so what i can do ?
and should I wait for kitkat official update or flash rom ?
and if I want to flash rom which one is better for lg g2 d802 ?
Well did you make a backup b4 you tried flashing the rom to restore it if anything were 2 go wrong ? Its most likely it flashed partially but it wiped your original rom thats why u couldnt boot . if you can still boot into recovery mode try flashing a diffrent rom if you have any downloaded

problem is that im stuck with very serious issue.. i have f320l with sonyue gpro 2 port rom...
i want to come to stock ..so i try to flash it with tot..but smart flasher all gives error that ur model is D802..
so i changed in build.prop...i wrote model no F320 not f320l so Lg flashed tool again gives error at tot file flashing
i want to change bulid.prop again but my phones becomes unusable and gives error at home screen that home has stopped so i cant change the build.prop too..
at last i try to flash with lg flash tool online with KDZ but it gives error at 47 percent..
no recovery
no home screen operate so i change model from Build.prop
just download mode..
so what options left???

I was trying to flash kitkat rom, and i got stuck into boot loop. Now i can't go to recovery mode or flash my phone. I am in a terrible situation right now.

i have lg g2 D802 16 GB it was on kitkat and i flashed a lollipop KDZ file the flashing didn't complete but the phone could go to download mode after that I re-flashed the kitkat rom and i lost the evrything (no download mode , no recovery mode) when i boot the device it shows only lg logo for a while after that it disappears but the screen still work. I found a fix on xda in this link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142) i followed the steps and i got nothing but the changes was that i can get into the original recovery mode and if i wanted to boot the device it shows only lg logo and it stuck on it ... any help please ?

lg support tool the 2014 version works for me every time just run the recovery mode in the options men
