Troubles with Adaway - Zuk Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I try to install Adaway on my Z1 and there's some troubles I've never found using this app.
Using Chrome, you can see a black side where the ad would be. In addition, you can see it doesn't load the ads in stead of remove it.
Anyone else with this problem?
PS: sorry for the image's size, it's late for editing it.

I don't think so, on other devices like Elephone P7000 or Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 (with AOSP rom) it removes this annoying blank space.

Yes, but I prefer using Chrome thanks to Chrome Pie, bookmarks and historial synchronization with PC, etc.

NC owners, little help here :)

So i decided to get myself nc and was wondering if it can read middle asian(georgian) unicode.
Can anyone go to this "forum.ge" with Nook, take screenshot and put it here?
Thanks, for help.
I just tried, both through DDMS and an app, but for some reason it was just a black screen both times.
I'll say this, though - the character I see appear to be the same ones I see using Chrome on my laptop. Although a few are styled slightly differently, everything seems to show up. Of course, I know nothing about Georgian, so I could be entirely wrong about that.

Hi there,
What ROM are you on? And are you only encountering this in FB Messenger? Some apps in the Playstore have the same functionality (e.g. Link Bubble Browser).

Hello! There is something bothering me. Take a look:
On nougat, the recent tabs looked like this:

On Oreo, they are all the same color:
That's horrible! I could easily find the app I wanted based on the color, without having to read the name. Any way to get that back? I'm ready to root, get magisk, whatever.

Google using ugly UI on chromium-based browsers

I'm not sure why, but a while back, Google websites started using the antiquated UI on my device for no reason. If I use a non-chromium-based browser such as monument browser,I don't have this issue. Is there any fix for this?
I'm using a fire hd 8 2017 for reference.

Because the Amazon System WebView (com.amazon.webview.chromium) is useless and ugly Amazon's user agent. Uninstall or disable it.
You can switch to desktop user agent or install Android System WebView (com.google.android.webview) as a system app (root required)

Pi-Hole setup on Android | DNS block everything

Hello,
Currently I'm using my Galaxy S7 edge (rooted) like a router. Now I am looking for a way to block everything ad related on this network.
- websites
- YouTube
- apps
Also social media and search engine ads are unwelcome.
Is this possible and if yes, how?
Thanks
